Scot Nicol helped me realize my dream of owning a home with an ocean view. When my husband and I decided it was time to sell our home of 11 years and look for our dream home we saw a little house on a corner with Scots sign out front. I called to inquire about the home and we talked for 45 minutes about the property that we were thinking of selling, and the little house on the corner. At the time it seemed that the two bed, two bath house was not right for our family of four. A few days later we received a hand written note from Scot offering his help with anything we needed in the process, and inviting us to come say ‘hi’ at the open house. We came by the house on the corner and fell in love with it. Scot guided us through the process to purchase our dream home and we couldn’t be happier. He helped us sell and buy and managed both deals wonderfully. It is a stressful process that Scot made accessible and pretty painless. What is really wonderful about Scot is that even once our deal was over Scot is still always available to answer questions, or to chat when we run into each other around town. It has been a true pleasure to work with Scot Nicol. From day one he was a go-​getter and very straight forward… My husband and I were starting the search for our first home and did not have a realtor yet. We began looking on Zillow and messaged a few homes we liked so we could schedule a viewing/​find out more about the properties. Scot called us about 5 minutes after we hit send and we talked for almost an hour. We really liked the vibe we got from him on the phone and were impressed by how quickly he contacted us (7pm on a weekend, I believe). We met him that sunday to see a few homes and feel him out. He was so straight forward, honest, and easy to talk to. You always hear horror stories of being persuaded or pressured into making a decision when buying a home. Especially being first time home buyers we were weary of this and did not get any negative feelings from Scot. We knew we had found the perfect man to help us find our first home. We were open to a few neighborhoods, but really interested in El Segundo. Scot being a native to El Segundo, he was EXTREMELY helpful in teaching us about the neighborhood and navigating the right place for us to put down our roots and start a family. I was probably very annoying at times, but he didn’t show any ounce of irritation when we needed something. He took phone calls at 9pm, completely set us up with movers, scheduled all of the immediate work we needed to take care of before moving in, and continues to be available and help us with anything we need. I could go on for days about how responsive he is and how much he has helped/​continues to help us… I would recommend Scot hands down to anyone and everyone we know. Scot knows his stuff. He doesn’t pester or pressure you, but keeps you updated and in the loop. Always easy to get ahold of, and very knowledgable about the market.

He treated us like family (even though we had never met before) and took a personal interest in making our needs happen.
