Garlic sauce and baba are the best I’ve had. Falafel good, not dry. Tabbouleh fresh and good, would like more lemon juice. Overall great little find as a biz traveler.

My only complain is that it is pricey however, it is absolutely delicious. specially that carribean sauce that is to die for… Portions are generous so consider sharing… Staff is very kind and welcoming. of course just as you would have it you have Mexicans in the kitchen so i’d like to think that the food is still authentic ! lol

One of my go-to spots for lunch. Gyro is more than a filling lunch as well as any of their plates. Parking in the lot can be an issue if you go right at lunch time but their service is quick and friendly. If you have a big enough order, they also offer delivery. Their Hermosa location is just as good.

Literally last minute arrival as they were closing doors but were happy to serve us take out which is what we wanted. Ordered the spicy hummus-and they do mean SPICY so be prepared. Also had the gyro plate which was a nice size serving and the spicy chicken with rice and veg bowl which was beyond good! Again a really nice kick of heat. Thanks for staying open a few extra minutes for us to enjoy your food.

This is not an indictment of the whole restaurant or the food in general but just one food item I picked. I ordered the chicken wrap may be I should have ordered the Chicken Kabab wrap or the chicken Shawarma. The meat inside my wrap reminded me of Boston Market chicken. Paid $ 7 for this wrap not worth it in my opinion.

Very fresh and yummy flavors. Agree with the other comments that the staff needs an attitude adjustment.

The food is delicious but the service SUCKS. The cashier and young male server are unfriendly and rude. Change your attitudes ASAP. The score is for the service not the food. ATTITUDEADJUSTMENTNEEDED

They need better employees taking orders. This lady gave me the wrong plate, which was too spicy for me, and I didn’t find out until I got home. I knew this would happen being that she didn’t understand much and she didn’t even know the menu.

Good flavor, good food, long line(that means it’s good) We went for Lunch and ordered: Spicy Hummus: flavorful and good texture Peri Peri: it’s chicken kabob with peanut and spicy flavors. It comes with Salad, hummus(I got spicy hummus), pita Bread and side of Rice. Perfectly cooked and well flavored chicken. They forgot the rice so had to ask again. Falafal Plate: comes with Salad, hummus and pita bread. We requested for no Salad and extra hummus. They forgot to remove salad and the extra hummus so had to request again

I do enjoy the food but the cashiers seriously need to work on their attitudes. They do not smile here ATALL. On a yummier note, their Mediterranean fries are addicting!

The food here is decent… Definitely lacks consistency. I’ve been here over 10 times, and it’s a 50⁄50 chance you walk away feeling it was worth paying $ 11.00 for your lunch. After my last 3 experiences I’ve decided I’m never going back! I took one of my customers here for lunch. I ordered both our plates at the same time. Mine comes and hers doesn’t. I tell the dingbat that brought our plates that we are waiting on one and nothing. This girl has pebbles for brains! I walk in after a couple mins and she never notified anyone about this problem! 10 mins later my customer gets her food and now mine is cold. Another time we find a hair in our food and the same dingbat did nothing about it! She had us write a phone number on my receipt snd walks away and never comes back… no apology from a single staff member… nothing! A hair in food is sick… disgusting and creepy!!! Their food tastes good, big portions… but I’ve lost my taste for their shitty attitude and lack of concern. They never show appreciation with a simple thank you either… you get handed your receipt and on with their next victim.

SBM is my favorite mediterranean/middle eastern casual dining. The food here takes awhile and it’s not cheap especially the halal lamb kebab(one for $ 13.99) or grilled lamb chops($ 21.99) but it is worth it … Since I try to eat more plant based now, I’m in love with their baba ghanoush and vegetarian platter with pickled beets, hummus, falafel and salad. They also have the most amazing roast chicken served with lemon wedges. I always bring home a whole chicken with sides for the family. The turkish coffee is awesome but it takes some time as it is done traditionally: p

I came here about a year or two ago to get dinner. I remember feeling that this food lacks TASTE! And I was right. I was in the neighborhood today for lunch and I stopped by here. It’s unfortunate because their salad, hummus and even their beef were wack! How can you mess up Lebanese food?! I never had middle eastern food until now. Super expensive and NOT worth it. This place can go head to head again Chicken Mason and I’d bet it all on the latter. Very disappointed. Please add FLAVOR to your carbon salad and hummus for Gods sake!!!

Came here for lunch and ordered the chicken kebab which comes with rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. The food was really good and the restaurant is neat and clean. You order and pay at the counter and they bring the food to you if you are going to dine in. Parking was a bit of a challenge during lunch time as there are competing restaurants in the complex. I just learned today, however, that you can park in the area that is blocked off for the medical building and not have to pay if you show the parking attendant your receipt when you leave.

Very causal dining. I think at lunch time, you line up and order then find a seat. At dinner, you can sit where ever you want and they will bring the menu to you. We ordered Mediterranean fries — very flavorful and huge portion Gyro plate(for 2) again, HUGE portion! We ended up bringing our leftovers home Bring lots of friends so you can try out the different dishes. Their plates are huge and the price is great!

First things first, the food is good. I’ve had several items off the menu and nothing has been outright bad. I do have to confess that a few times my chicken(both the regular rotisserie style and the spicy garlic) has been a little dry. Still, the good outweighs the bad there. I recommend the spicy garlic chicken plate or the Beirut Mix salad, which can easily be shared with a friend. If you’re sharing, the spicy hummus and pita is an excellent addition. As for the value, I dropped a star for this. Aside from the lunch menu, which is decent, this place is pricey. I only ever eat here when I’m explicitly craving something off their menu or if I’ve found someone who wants to split/share with me. As good as the food is, I still end up feeling a little shafted once I’ve paid. I dropped another star for customer service. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten here and witnessed a staff member smile. You don’t have to be a ray of sunshine, but a pleasant look on one’s face(a smile may be too much to ask) and seemingly genuine«thank you» could go a long way. It’s not just outward appearances either. More often than not, something is missing from my order(a sauce, pita bread, etc). I’ll take partial blame for not remembering to check my bag before I leave, but at a place like this(with prices like theirs) I feel like I shouldn’t need to check my bag. Malibu Fish Grill doesn’t forget any of my items. Neither does Habit. I suppose it makes sense that I eat at those places more often. If you’re in the area and craving mediterranean, I say try it out. Just be prepared to spend $$ and make sure you check your bag before you leave the restaurant.

This is the newer location for this restaurant chain. I been to their location on PCH in Hermosa for Mediterranean and stopped by here the other day. It was actually my second visit and I had the same thing which is the spicy garlic chicken plate. It’s really enjoyable except now I’m thinking it’s a little bit too much on the oily side as it’s completely dripping in oil. Comes with salad, rice and pita like most Mediterranean joints. But the grease, man! I think next time I’ll order a regular kabob or something. It’s good eats here though and I’m a huge fan of eating here but now that I’m in Hollywood, I don’t get out here all that often so it’s going to be a while until I’m back. Good place though.

In general, their menu is really great. The pros: 1) their chicken and steak kabob is awesome, tender, juicy, flavorful. 2) their cauliflower dish is zesty, healthy(for the most part), and cooked perfectly. 3) their garlic sauce is awesome. It reminds me of Zankou, but slightly different, in fact, possibly improved. 4) very expansive menu unlike competitor rotisserie chicken businesses I’ve seen. Cons: 1) I feel like their tabouli lacks a little lemon and a dash of salt(I usually don’t salt my restaurant food but this dish needs at least a little). 2) their hummus and baba ganoush is okay but nothing to die for. 3) they can’t accommodate enough people during lunch hour. They have space for a few extra tables outside but they don’t use that space. I was eating part of my food on a bench while watching the tables like a hawk waiting to get a seat lol.

3 stars because the pita bread served with the entrees’ cold unlike the ones served at their Hermosa Beach location. Also the customer service needs a little help-and I’m referring to the cashiers and not the people that brings your food. As far as the food– my go to is their falafels because they are moist and delicious. You can definitely taste the chickpeas unlike the Hummus Factory whereby the fried balls are saturated with spices. Also their tabbouleh salad is delicious! Just the right amount of parsley! Their regular salad that comes with the plates is not worth it because it’s just romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes and cucumbers so you’re better off with substituting it with coleslaw or the tabbouleh! This place gets pretty busy on lunch time on weekdays so get their before 1130 if you wish to dine in.

A good place for Mediterranean food. Orders chicken kofta kabob lunch special. The order came with basmati rice, hummus, pita bread, salad. The kabob was fresh and made to order. The sides were of ample quantity and are fresh. The rice was soft and done right. The salad was fresh and the hummus was light and good. So why 4 vs 5 star. The main dish chicken. Kofta was juicy but could you a bit more flavor. Bottom lien will visit this place and will try their shawarma next time
