Brought my 2016 yamaha fz-​07 in for it’s 600 mile service. I called around to a few bike shops in my area before coming and Ray was very professional on the phone and gave me a killer quote.
Finding the place is a little difficult although there is a sign in the front, I couldn’t find the entrance to the building at first. The entrance is to the right of the building through the parking lot and then through a chain link fence with green tarp on the left.
The service and professionalism is top notch and the prices are amazing. Ray is extremely knowledgable, friendly. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here for service and parts installs.

Great Service & A Fair Price.
My last motorcycle mechanic got up and left and was no where to be found. So I came here to Unilocal to find a new one. My criteria was to find one close to home and Pro Moto was one of several close to me so I stopped by to check out the shop.
At Pro Moto I met the owner, Ray, and he was very cool. I rode up with my 2002 Goldwing, explained to Ray my bike issues and he was more than happy and pleasant to take on my bikes repair needs.
The work was done promptly and what surprised me even more was the very fair price! I expected to pay much more than the final cost.
Pro Moto, A local Motorcycle shop with a cool and attentive Owner/​Mechanic & great work at a reasonable price all equal up to a Fantastic Shop. I will definitely be recommending this shop to all my biker buddies.

I have a 2005 Suzuki Gsxr with 42,000 miles, due to the experiences I have had at other shops I have had very little maintenance done… I recently found Ray’s shop on Unilocal and with all of the positive reviews I decided it was time Suzie got the maintenance she needed. When I picked up the bike it was confirmed that Ray had earned every one of these positive reviews. He addressed all of my concerns and explained the mechanics of the bike to me so I understood the work he had done. He is the wise and honest motorcycle mechanic I was looking for. The bike runs better than it has in years, and I am looking forward to another 42,000 miles.
I highly recommend this shop, especially to the women riders out there who tend to get taken advantage of when they bring their bike in for some work.

So I brought in my Honda for a tire replacement. They did it for less than everyone else and it only took an hour! Ray is a an intelligent and honest person which is rare in mechanics nowadays. He even suggested ways to temporarily fix my fender that’s a bit broken. I’ll definitely be coming back here in the future.

Great service. I had an oil change but also received a tire pressure check and kick stand lube and advice on tuning my power commander. I will definitely be using this shop for all future bike maintenance and repair.

I have been coming to this place since about ’05 and hands down this is the best place to get your bike fixed. I started with a scooter to a small bike then to a 1000cc rocket. Ray and his team have been able to trouble shoot and fix problems no one else could figure out or took the time to figure out. I’ve done some work on my bike myself and he has given me good advice. If the other guys can’t figure it out. Let this place give you a second opinion. Great prices, always fair! Happy riding!

Took my 07 Yamaha 1300 Tourer in today for installation of front & back brakes,
changed oil & filter, added Engine Ice coolant and flushed, changed spark plugs and cleaned K&N air filter for $ 170 total. Other shops quoted much more and wanted bike entire day. Ray was honest, intelligent and a highly skilled motorcycle repair expert. From now on I will only take my ride here. I will be back for new front and rear tire installation and whenever and whatever my bike needs. My experience with this awesome shop was A+. I highly recommend and refer this place to all motorcycle riders!!!

Went in for a tire change for my NSR50, was done quickly and with no appointments. Ray (mechanic) is the one who helped me. Cool guy, would go again.

$ 190 for a 8.000 miles maintenance on my Burgman 650! I dropped the bike as scheduled and 2 hours later I received a phone call from Ray telling that it was ready for pickup. The job is done at a fair price. It is a different feeling than going to those big shop where they just look into their computer to give you a price which seems to be just a rip off! Here at least Ray is a real mechanic who knows what is talking about! Not a receptionist thinking numbers to meet the month target!
He works on all kind of bikes and can obviously do way more than simple maintenance.
There were actually someone with a brand New super sport bike getting ready for a tune up!

Discovered Pro Moto on Unilocal.I’ve been searching for a local shop with the capability and right service for my scooters in the Westside. (I’m not too keen about the shops on Lincoln on MDR.) These guys took care of my Piaggio MP3 within 24 hours — oil change, brake pads, air filter replacement, tires, etc etc… They also fixed the spring under my seat (that stopped opening from the key) and installed a 12-​Volt cigarette lighter plug I got months ago. They fabricate bikes! They take care of all sorts of motorcycles and scooters. Best part is the pricing was fair. I hope to take my vintage Vespa there for restoration.

Great small shop and close to my work! Ray and the technicians are relatable, down to earth, and know what they’re talking about. Labor rates are very reasonable.

My tow service recommended Rey to get my Yamaha R6 street fighter running. He suggested a carb clean and gave an affordable quote. I told him that I needed the bike running the next day to commute to school and he was able to help me out right away. As Rey cleaned my carbs, Cecil was cracking jokes while replacing my bad brakes. They are definitely good people. After spending the next hours working on my bike and touching up minor details, the bike started up and ran. After we tested out the bike, Rey continued working on my bike and synced the carbs. These guys really go out of their way and give the whole service package. What’s great is they stuck to the quoted price, even after doing a whole lot more. I’m definitely coming back for the tune up. Thanks Pro Moto!

Ray is one of the best mechanic, very fair, don’t try to get you For your money honest. I have a katana 750, year 1999. I have tryed other mechanic, That got my For My money. Found myself coming back to pro Moto. Very professional, AAA+++++

What can I say? I have finally found my old bike a new physician. I had no idea there was such a skilled and trustworthy shop so close to my home in El Segundo. Pro Moto is nestled behind the Habit and Chipotle right off Sepulveda Blvd. There is a lack of affordable, good mechanics within 5 miles of the South Bay area. These guys are a welcomed addition. Ray got my 87 Kawasaki KLR running like it just came off the factory line. I was having an impossible time kick-​starting the old Kawie (ruined a few pairs of shoes). My bike spent two weeks and over $ 800 at a worthless shop in Gardena. They had great Unilocal reviews. However, some places are better at getting positive reviews than they are at working on bikes! Ray doesn’t really bother with that kind of stuff. His focus, his craft of more than twenty years… motorcycles.
I only write reviews when a business truly deserves one. The folks at Pro Moto were extremely friendly and were never in a rush with me, amazing skills, good all around folks and I feel like I made some friends in the process. Thanks again guys.

They are so good and very reasonably priced. Saved hundreds of dollars versus other quotes. I had an oil change, new front tire installed, new pipes installed, tune up and new brakes.

I really wanted to give these guys a better rating because they seemed like genuinely nice and honest people. Unfortunately, my experience with them was pretty terrible.
I brought my Vespa S in for a tune up and to get the belt and rollers replaced. They gave me an estimate of half a week. I come in half a week later and it’s not ready. They apologize saying they have been really busy and haven’t had a chance to get to it. They tell me it will be ready in a few days. After a few days they tell me that they ordered the wrong part and I have to wait another week. This is not only annoying but costing me money because I have to pay $ 10 per day for parking when I take my car to work/​school as opposed to my scooter but fine.
After a week, I go in to pick up my scooter and it won’t go above 10mph. Turns out they left a hose disconnected. They quickly reattach the hose and tie it down with a wire to make sure it doesn’t pop out again. I am assured that this will fix the problem.
The next day I am on my way to school when after 5 minutes or so the same thing happens. I reattach the hose myself but it won’t stay attached so I have to take it home, reattaching the hose every block or so, and drive my car instead. I take it back to Pro Moto and they get a new hose, which fixes the problem. Since one of my mirrors was broken I ask if they can throw in a replacement for free given all of the mishaps. The guy agrees to give it to me at half price. I am half satisfied but agree. He says that he will call me when the part arrives.
After 3 or 4 weeks, I have not heard a word from them so I finally call them. They tell me that the part was not available and they are going to try another supplier. It doesn’t make sense to me why they didn’t try another supplier until I called but OK. They tell me the part will arrive in a few days and they will give me a call when it does. After a week, no call. I call them, no one picks up and I leave a message. After 2 days no one returns my call so I call again. At this point, I am able to speak to a person who informs me that the part did indeed arrive and that I could come by any time. I go there the next day get the new mirror and the saga ends.

Could NOT have had a better experience here! Took my ’71 Honda CB350 in, because there were some issues with the engine internals and carbs and I wanted them sorted before I go on a long ride this weekend. From the moment I walked up to the desk, I knew this place was special.
Brian, the mechanic, really took the time, despite having a full plate, to really get to the bottom of what issues I was having with the bike. We talked bikes for awhile and he’s just a really friendly, down to earth guy. Lilly, at the front desk, was very patient and extremely sweet. She kept getting me quotes over the phone and time frames and so on. Very patient person, definitely deserves to be in the customer service industry!
I was expecting my bike to remain at the shop for the entire day but it was done in just over two hours. Not only did he do the job, he took my bike around the block and noticed a bunch of other very minor things and fixed them as well (oiled clutch and brake levers making it a dream to pull, oiled the chain, tightened some bolt here and there as well. It’s these «little things» that really really impressed me.
