Plaza El Segundo

I was looking for The Container Store in the area so I Unilocaled it and ended up at the plaza. After spending 2 hours inside the store, I got in my car and was just about to drive off, when I realized how big the plaza was! Lol
I kept looking left and right, and realized they have all my favorite stores! Why have I not been here before?
They definitely cater to a certain clientele. Parking was a little hectic. Some stores are on the other side of the street.
It seems they have kid-​friendly places, but I also would love coming here alone. That way, you can get your coffee from Starbucks, and just take your time going from store to store. Go to whole foods for a snack, or pinkberry for something sweet. Get your hair done at Drybar and your nails done at The Nail Garden. Then spend hours at sur la table,
Cost Plus, etc looking at every single item and convincing yourself you need it… Lol have fun! :)

I enjoy this shopping plaza. Home Goods and World Market are 2 of my favorite stores so to have them both in the same plaza is a treat. I also really like the Whole Foods here and they have tables outside so you can eat there. It’s a clean plaza and parking is free in the giant lot… it can get a bit cramped and trafficky depending on when you’re there. It’s still less crowded than, say, The Grove, so I enjoy shopping here.

Omg they need to figure out traffic control. Sitting in the line to make a left onto Sepulveda for 20 minutes. Probably only 30 cars in front of me. Horrible lights.

If you happen to have time to kill before a fight or maybe picking someone up from LAX, I would totally recommend you to come here to Plaza El Segundo. It’s Ginormous! Super huge party lots in the area but yes it can get crowded because people in the area apparently love to shop… and that you can’t really walk from one shop to another because it’s not quite next door.

We enjoy this outdoor mall immensely. There are some pretty great retailers (Whole Foods, Lululemon) here and misc /​other (YogaWorks). But it’s really the food that brings us (The Counter, Pinkberry, Veggie Grill, Salt Creek Grill).
If only it wasn’t so sprawled out. There is really no way to not drive from stop to stop. What, you want me to walk for 5 min?! This is LA! We don’t walk!
Just between you and me, the kiddos can cool off on a hot summer’s day in the water fountain next to Anthropologie and Pinkberry.
There are some pretty awesome and free Mommy and Me events on select Thursday’s at 10 AM, hosted by the plaza. Meets outside The Counter.

Lovely stores, awesome little fountain for kids, but there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to walk from one side of the shops to the other — there really should be a light at the center intersection. Making a left turn out of the one side of shops is a losing battle. And seriously — no public bathroom? The folks at Marmalade Café were nice to let us use theirs and I hate to sound ungrateful — but it was a mess. Pretty gross, guys.

Not knowing the area very well we kinda just stumbled upon this one. Well, no disappointment here, they have everything. They now have a soul cycle and my girl is stoked about that even more so because Lululemon is just around the corner. Oh I could go on and on but you get it. A shopping mecca all in one spot, charge!

We stopped here so we could get lunch at Whole Foods and my brother wanted to try and get a shirt at Banana Republic. We were successful at doing both, though it took awhile to figure out where Banana was from Whole Foods… the sign from Sepulveda made it seem like it was in the strip that Whole Foods was. Just food for thought. It is where all the other clothing stores are just so you know.

What can I say? I love this plaza. After all, what’s there not to love? This plaza has everything!

I especially love this plaza though because of the gigantic Whole Foods. Coming here for lunch is so much fun. The workers there are happy. And there’s just so much going on. Parking is plentiful.

Plaza El Segundo is great!
Veggie Grill: Their buffalo chicken sandwich is delicious. Their kids meal «chicken» nuggets, sweet potato fries and carrot cake are perfect for a toddler splurge meal.
Wondertree: My son took an art class and a music class here. Very cute store with cute classes.
Whole Foods: My favorite Whole Foods in South Bay by far. Huge selection. The hot bar is not my favorite, so I stick the the items on the shelves, produce and behind the deli.
Banana Republic: Standard store that I enjoy.
Container Store: Love this store! Love having an organized home.
Pinkberry: I still enjoy this yummy treat.
The Counter: Not my favorite place to eat, but don’t mind it either.
The only NEGATIVE is that everything is so spread out. There are 3 main sections and you have to cross streets to get there. We walk, but I can see people choosing to drive.

Plaza ES has EVERYTHING, and I love it! Lots of parking and lots of things to do… From coffee (Starbucks and Marmalade Café) to grocery shopping (Whole Foods) to retail (Anthropologie and H&M) to a «spa day» (hair and nail salons) to yoga… It’s a great place, and everyone knows it — lots of crowds.

Everything you need under one pretty parking lot location! Home Goods, Whole Foods, Dry Bar and Yogaworks is around the block. They have a few restaurants, there is also a Best Buy and World Market. Across the street is a whole area for clothes shopping, nothing high end but sufficient (and a Pink Berry) I love going here!

Parking isn’t horrible, which will remain a big deal coming from the OC.

Yup it’s shopping. Lots of shopping. I dont’ like shopping but when I have to do it, I like this area. I can shop for almost everything I need, including food, clothing, gifts, shoes, home décor and everything in between. I can even stop for lunch. Lots of terrific places to satisfy your hunger.
Parking is plentiful. Space is open, clean and very nice looking.

Plaza El Segundo takes up vast real estate conveniently located by the 405 and 105. It houses Whole Foods, Best Buy, Mac, California Fish Grill, Counter and other retail stores.
The layout is a bit dated. But it’s still a good place to shop and dine.

First off don’t leave your wallet in El Segundo. Secondly… shopping…boom.

I love this plaza — so many great stores all in one place. A World Market, Homegoods, Sur la Table AND a Whole Foods? This place is like my one stop shop for Christmas presents (or just presents in general).
Across the way, there’s an Anthropologie a Pinkberry and an H&M. Tons of shops and stuff for everyone. It’s well-​kept, clean and there’s plenty of parking. Love it.

I havent been here much but in the last few months I have visited around 4 times. This plaza is a great use of space and there are plenty of shops; mostly upscale. I enjoy that this its outdoor shopping but i do think they could have added in a few more restaurants or even a movie theater to truly make it one-​stop. For that it is 3 stars.
I do appreciate the variety of stores and that there is really plenty of parking. Even when I came here during Christmas season, it was not run over by cars and parking was actually very easy. Parking is 4 stars.
I will visit more since it does offer stores not found in Manhattan Village or other neighboring shopping spots. However, between El Segundo and Manhattan, if not careful they are going to overbuild and it will become more of an overcrowded place like Santa Monica thereby taking away from the experience.

Plaza El Segundo has a great array of restaurants and stores to satisfy all of your shopping needs. It seems like yesterday when this piece of land was nothing but a dusty ol dirt lot. Now you can find The Container Store, Best Buy, Whole Foods, Dicks sporting goods and a Sur La Table. They have a great selection of restaurants and even a Starbucks to grab that quick pick me up. If you need to do any banking there is a new chase bank available as well. All in all, a great shopping experience in a very quaint little strip mall.

I was here today for a Mommy and Me kids’ event. They had music, singing, dancing, face painting, balloon twisting, hair designing, frozen yogurt sampling, and more. After that we had lunch at Whole foods. Here’s a list of stores and restaurants I remember seeing:
