This store is fondly nicknamed «Corner Market» by many Gundo locals. You would be surprised other than their copious amounts of liquor, beer and wine.
For example, one day I needed to make jello shots. I ordered cups on Amazon and they didn’t arrive in time. I called Hometown market (that’s my nickname for them!) and I asked if they had jello shot cups. Well, turns out they did. Saved me a trip around the South Bay during the holiday season!
They also carry groceries including dairy and produce. You can always call ahead to save yourself a trip.
Definitely support this local business. We don’t want it to leave us!

Nice stop n go place to pick up some booze on the fly. Prices are a bit hiked up but honestly what the fuck do you expect. After all, they need to make a profit and the convenience is really what you’re paying for. Closes at 10pm so keep that in mind.

Very organized and friendly. Although more expensive, you’re paying for convenience. Has a wide selection of wine, beers, and spirits. Even has the local brewery beers in the refrigerated section. Also, they have limes in case you need them for your beers.

Very well kept, clean and organized store. As with any smaller, local convenience store, prices are a little higher than a large chain store but your saving money by not having to start your car and waste gas. Friendly staff, great wine selection. I’d recommend checking it out.

Looking for a place that sells cigars (with a humidor). Large supply of liquor and beverages, friendly staff, and a clean sales area. Small but nicely stocked humidor.
Google maps states this business is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Nothing could be farther than the truth and I informed the sales staff. Hope they get it straight with Google.

Me and my family love this store, not only is it close to our home but they have been very very kind to the community, i shop everyday at hometown liquor and couldnt be anymore satisfied with the prices and quality of their service. they also are very helpful when it comes to customer service, they supply their customers with anything not supplied in the store by pre — ordering it., and supply top brands cigars and top of the line alcoholic beverages. if you are ever in the area i highly recommend this store, you wont be disappointed.

My husband and I LOVE this store. It’s a convenience store with class and heart. Not only is it beautifully designed and stocked with the finest of wines and cigars (includes a large, walk-​in cedar humidor), but you can also get anything that would be available at a chain convenience store, but at a better price. The owner Peter (& wife!) and his staff John are very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this store and am very grateful they are in the neighborhood.
