Looks like this bar/​hotel might be closed for construction? Came here around 8p on a Sunday and everything looked shut down.

If you like salsa dancing and want room to dance this is your place! And no cover charge! The dance floor is huge, the music is good and the people are nice! Friday’s are great!

The ultimate place if you want to dance in a casual environment while having access to alcohol. Friday and Sun and nights are salsa. Imho, the best salsa in town with the friendliest dancers. Wednesday nights is Tango night with Ilona Glinarsky. Great crowd.
No cover charge makes it all the better. I cannot tell how often I just have dropped by to enjoy a few dances and then leave. A cover charge sometimes makes a person not want to come. I’d you know what I mean. The alcohol prices are also very reasonable.
Been going there for almost seven years. They are undergoing some renovations so I don’t how everything will turn out. Hopefully the new. changes will keep the same friendly and inviting vibe they have had all these years. If not, I guess I’ll have to find another home away from home dance venue.

Sports bar? Not so much. Old folks drinking cheap well drinks, old folks dancing, terrible beer selection, but fantastic tacos and friendly service. This place is cool only if you are staying here or you are really into old people.

If you’re coming here for dance lessons or dancing, it’s a great place to come as there are multiple rooms, great dance floor, and large. It also gets packed.
However, as a bar it leaves a lot to be desired. The bartenders don’t necessarily follow directions as to how I want my drinks made, they have a very limited liquor selection despite being a large bar, and the service is a little on the slow side. Plus, some of the hotel guests or bar patrons are creepsters. There was a drunk guy seated at the bar who touched my back repeatedly and then the hair and back of a female friend that arrived later.
As a sports bar, yeah there are multiple TVs but they are not large screens or even particularly good ones. No more than 2 games on at any given time.

It’s chill~ it’s super empty at lunch time but I like it because I can just come here, have a drink and relax! The bartender is super chill he gave me more than a glass~ woot! I think they serve food here too… I just hope it’s not from Carrasco’s next door!

The Double H Sports bar is located inside the Hacienda Hotel on El Segundo Blvd. just South of LAX. I’ve been coming here for years, my first time was summer of 2003, to West Coast Swing dance on Thursday nights. I live in Bakersfield, a mere two hours North over the Grapevine and down into the Central Valley, so it’s quite a drive — especially since I have to be at work early on Friday mornings — but it is WELL WORTH the drive.
There are three large dance floors with a wonderful finish for dancing all night without making my knees ache as some bar floors do. Thursday night is West Coast Swing night, though I’ve heard they have Bachata on Mondays and Salsa on another night. There is no cover charge, the music is fabulous (every song is danceable) and they validate your parking so that you get the first 3 hours FREE! How could you beat this? It’s pretty hard, I tell you.
So you say you don’t dance? That’s okay, Doug Endo teaches swing dance lessons before the social dancing starts on Thursdays. The first Saturday of every month is usually a West Coast Swing dance night also, with Phil Adams — a nationally known champion swing dance instructor — teaching classes in West Coast Swing, Country Two Step, and Nightclub Two Step followed by an evening of social dancing. There are dancers of every level there from rank beginner to nationally ranked champions and everyone is so down to Earth that they will dance with anyone who asks them. It’s a very laid back atmosphere.
If you’d prefer to just watch, that’s okay too. Pull up a low slung leather chair and enjoy the dim lighting and the waitresses in white tuxedo blouses and black miniskirts looking like they walked right out of the 60’s will be happy to serve you a couple of drinks. WIth no parking fee and no cover charge you can afford to throw a few back while you enjoy the ambiance.
Who knows, maybe you’ll discover your inner dancer.

Don’t go here, they refuse to serve any water for free. I asked for them to simply fill my glass I had purchased several drinks) with water and they refused. They only offer $ 4 small water bottles. I like to drink a glass of water after a few drinks and don’t want to be forced to have to pay water when I asked from the tap. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me flat in my face, «This place is trying to make money, if you don’t want to purchase water, you can simply leave — I don’t want you here» They were also very expensive. The bar tenders simply say my boss won’t allow me to pour water.

Visited at 8pm on a Friday night. Salsa dancing, 8 $ Vodka sodas… the place smells like Tijuana style vinyl upholstery.

3.00 dollar Margaritas and good Nachos. They have fireplace seating out side where ti can be served food and drinks. Happy Hour is the best time to come. The only thing that I wish it had more servers to be able to take care of my needs better!
We had to flag down a waitress to get service.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. They host salsa nights on Sunday! The dance floor is great (smooth) and there’s ample space with three separate dance floors. There is no cover charge and get this, parking is free for 3 hours with validation. I’d say that’s pretty neat considering the other salsa venues on the west side require one or the other. This is definitely the place to be if you enjoy social dancing.

@ the Hacienda Hotel in El Segundo… Friday and Sunday nights are great for Salsa here. Fridays the music is mesmerizing– usually by DJ Anne– her music is a wonderfully rhythmic blend of old classics and popular, authentic salsa.
The Friday crowd is friendly and there is always plenty of room to dance.
Bartender and waitress are friendly– drinks are good and not pricey.
I am so happy here.

The Double H Dance Club/​Lounge, on the first floor is hopping on the weekends. They have West Coast Swing dancing on Saturday nights and Salsa on Sunday nights and the place is packed with good, even advanced level dancers. Three dance floors seperated by wrought iron fence. Schedule under dancing
Was here for a Hustle dance convention in the main ballroom for Hooray for Hollywood in February.
This club has hustle dancing and lessons on Wednesdays.

What does 4.5 hours of salsa dancing do to you?
Sweat like you’ve showered, leave your feet raw, and make you lots of new friends!
A girlfriend of mine suggested we go this Sunday evening and I did not expect to stay the whole time. But why not? The dj was excellent, the crowd was friendly and mixed with beginners to advanced salseros, and the floor is super spacious. There’s even a class before at 7:30, I think. We came too late, but I wish I had been there on time! The class looked great. They even have mirrors towards the back of the dance floor.
It’s a newer place, clean, and has a fun vibe. I haven’t had this much fun since dancing salsa at the Century in Seattle!
Parking for $ 3 or on the street (we found a spot easily, but we came earlier, around 8ish). Go towards the Lobby. There’s a little fountain between the lobby and the sports bar. Good if you need a smoke.
No cover, so buy drinks. Also, no outside drinks, so either hide your water in your purse, or just pay the $ 2 for the bottled water. (However, I noticed the bartenders would only sell bottled water to certain people and would give glasses of waters to others. I think if you buy a drink or two and are friendly, they won’t be stingy with the agua.)
Dress: Spectrum of jeans/​t-​shirt to suits and dresses. Err on the side of casual.
They do have fans/​AC, but you have to feel your way around the floor to actually feel it.
A fast floor, which is fun but it was tough getting used to.
Reason for –1 star: Too far from my abode in the SFV. :(Otherwise, I’d be here every weekend.
