My line of work (watchmaker) puts me hunched over a workbench for hours every day, and I was noticing a significant loss of motion in my neck and shoulders, twinges of pain when I moved my head, and an overall feeling that my body was getting too old for my age.
I found out about Champion Chiro through an El Segundo Chamber of Commerce Event. After an initial assessment and X-​rays, it was apparent that I needed some adjusting and a course of treatment was offered. 12 weeks of visits, some massages, and I also attended a Wellness Workshop that helped me see my health from a new perspective.
Dr. Sean, Dr. John, and Dr. Jordan are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Just a few weeks into my care I had vast improvements in mobility and range of motion in my neck and back, the pain is gone, and I have gained back half an inch of height. My posture is better, I feel healthier, and I’m also no longer suffering from chronic sinusitis. I was skeptical when I was told that chiropractic adjustments could improve my overall health, but the results speak volumes.
I have more energy, my overall attitude is more positive (probably from not being in pain daily), and I feel good that I’m taking preventative, proactive measures to safeguard my health.
Naomi is an amazing masseuse: strong, intuitive hands that can get the knots out. She is absolutely the best!
The lovely office workers provide a welcoming atmosphere, and I signed up for text message alerts so that I can be reminded of my appointments.
There are positive messages on the ceiling and walls to remind me that my health is important; my visits are uplifting, and I plan on relying on the Champion Chiropractic Team to keep me and my family in tip-​top shape.

Dr. Drake and his crew really care about their patients. Mikayla is always extremely pleasant and makes you feel comfortable. She always remembers your name and every detail you’ve ever told her! Dr. Drake goes above and beyond with his patients. He’s extremely caring and is a master at what he does! He made miracles with my neck (which was in terrible condition). My neck pain used to hurt every day and impaired me from even carrying a backpack at school and is now basically gone! Dr. Drake knows physiology quite well and is a well of knowledge. He’s got tons of experience and answers all of your questions. I drive all the way out from Silver Lake because this office has been so good to me. I’m very thankful for everything Champion Chiropractic has done.

I’ve been coming here to see Dr. Drake for 2 weeks and I’m already starting to feel parts of my body that I haven’t felt fully in year’s. I had a terrible motorcycle accident that almost left me paralyzed 8 year’s ago, and even though I made a miraculous recovery, I was left with numbness and pain that I haven’t been able to see any progress from in quite some time. I was told many times that going to a Chiropractor can leave you worse off than before going in, so for that reason I kept my distance; but still remained curious. So for whatever reason one day I walked into Dr. Drakes office after going to the farmers market, and since my first appointment I’ve had consistent improvement. He’s a strong supporter of our military, and even offers veterans, as well active duty members a discount. If you’re on the fence, like I was for a long time, Dr. Drake is the doctor that will dispell any doubts or misconceptions you may have about chiropractic medicine. He’s also one of the most knowledgeable and down to earth physicians I’ve come across.

As a chiropractor… I’m picky about who I choose for my chiro care. Dr. Drake and his team are awesome, and I always get the attention and care I need. I’ve had a lot of injuries over the years from sports, and Dr. Drake really knows how to help me be at 100%. I highly recommend this office!

These guys really care about their patients and it shows. I’ve been to other chiropractors in the area and I’ve never had such a personal and inviting experience as I’ve had here. Mikayla works the front office and she never forgets a name. She is always willing to strike up a conversation and is probably the most easy going assistant I’ve ever crossed paths with. As far as the doctors go, Dr. Drake clearly takes the time to learn each and ever patient’s needs and will gladly find time to discuss your progress if you ever feel the need.
My experience: My job as a helicopter pilot is notorious for creating extremely poor posture and serious long-​term spinal issues. I first came to this place seeking relief for lower back pain that was telegraphing down into my legs, that was nearly 10 months ago. After one month of routine treatment I was feeling a little better, after two the pain was pretty much gone, and after three I considered myself «healed». I now go in weekly simply for maintenance and to ensure the problem doesn’t resurface. Its worth noting that their care doesn’t stop once your initial problem or complaint areas are resolved. Their program is ongoing even after the initial phases. Also, they truly offer the whole package in terms of helping you live a healthy lifestyle. They offer free wellness seminars in house to their patients (and guests of patients) focusing on healthy eating, stress management, and most importantly, spinal health (to name a few).
All in all, the staff here has been nothing short of excellent throughout my whole experience; considering that and the exceptional quality of my treatment I simply can not recommend them highly enough.
P. S. If you are unsure about going, it doesn’t hurt to simply go there and talk (its really that easy… honestly). They also routinely participate in area events, so maybe you’ll see their booth sometime in the South Bay area.

Dr Drakes Adjustment was spot on. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I usually go to the one in Seal Beach but was in the area and they worked me in.

Here is my story. I’ve been recommended this place by a friend. My problem was sciatic nerve that has been really affecting my life. It was on the right side of my back. My upper body haven’t given me any trouble. At all.
I have never had headaches, neither had problems with my upper back.
The guys were very pleasant they took my ex-​rays for free, pointed me on something (not like I could know any difference) they did say my back was ok, but lower back and a little bit in neck. They gave me a «deal»
$ 1500 three month, 3 times a week therapy
I’ve been promised 100% recovery.
Dr. Shade and Dr Jacobs were taking care of me.
Within first month I started feeling a lot better, second month I felt amazing, but with a little bit work out (just went for a small run), all came back (that was when I’ve had about 2 weeks left on my package.
Then, Dr Shade and Dr Jacobs were gone…
An other Dr took over (British guy can’t remember the name) he said I was not suppossed to be promissed a full recovery, he said that because of that, I’m going to get a free month.
Sciatica never really went away, but ever since his neck ajastment a I’ve been getting really strong headaches…
Sometimes he would get it right and my neck felt ok again.
The last ajastment about a month or so ago, I did feel as my neck was tide.
I’ve been going through relocating so just let that be and figured it will pass…
I felt a little weir in my left shoulder and my arm was getting numb sometimes…
It got a lot worth last week.
I feel a lot of pain in my left arm, some in right. I have headaches.
And still am getting my sciatic nerve pinched.
And that all after four month of therapy in that place, money, time…
I felt bad writing a review as I was given a «free month», they all seem nice. But I don’t want to call and complain. I don’t want an other free month. I don’t want to be anastesia by someone who is not really having a good knowledge.
This is just not safe, plus traveling is long way to go.
I’ve learned a big lesson: go only to chiropractors, that are recommended by people who had positive results, not by other chiropractors.

I have been going to Champion Chiropractic for about 4 months now and have seen great results from my treatment. The doctors are very knowledgeable and caring. All of the staff members I have interacted with are all friendly and helpful. I love going to this office every week.

Note office hours, they are closed during the middle of the day and currently (April 2014) closed on Friday. They are also hosting health related classes monthly. Friendly and efficient staff, easy going without the tough sell.
After the initial visit, they will work up a treatment plan for you. If you work and live in El Segundo, probably a great place to use if you need chiropractic services. They are open M-​Th in the mornings and afternoons (close at 6pm).
Caring provider who talks with you about the treatments and exercises you’ll need to do to heal. Friendly receptionist with an amazing talent for remembering names is efficient and truly seems to love her job.
If you’re in pain or need of chiropractic services, give them a try. Hope you have as good of an experience as we have had.

Awesome staffing. Great chiropractic work. Ive been to five different chiropractors and left with the same issues until I found this place. They woek in a very timely fashion, you dont have to wait minutes to be seen. The doctor formulates repair, and proactive plams specifically for your needs. I would reccomend Champion to anyone serious about improving their health and living a more comfortable life.
