Artifact Graphics creates custom natural science illustrations for doctors, veterinarians, and educational institutions.

History

Established in 1991.

Michelle Leveille is the creative force behind Artifact Graphics. The business started when she was asked to illustrate the syllabus for her Human Gross Anatomy Lab class while she was at UC Davis studying to become an exotic bird veterinarian. Since then she has provided first aid diagrams for the U.S. Navy, instructive drawings on the use of international pack animals for the Royal Geographic Society, and bird identification posters for the Los Angeles Unified School Districts, among others.
