Established in 2002.
Founded in 2002 by Page Patterson, Taos Clay Studio is currently owned and managed by Brandi Lynn Jessup.
Taos Clay Studio is a community ceramic facility dedicated to the spread of contemporary clay culture within Taos County, and across the country. We are a community-based organization hosting lectures, workshops, and events to promote art education and hands on learning. We foster an environment of creativity catering to all ages and skill levels. We firmly believe in the power and importance of arts education and its ability to impact lives. Through memberships and classes, internships and residencies, we build opportunities for lifelong learning and experimentation in the visual arts.
There are many options for anyone interested in using our facility.
Meet the Business Owner
Brandi J.
Business Owner
I currently reside in Taos, NM, and have been Owner/Executive Director of Taos Clay Studio for a year and a half.
I graduated in 2012 from Alfred University in western New York with a concentration in ceramics. After graduation I directed a contemporary arts camp in North Eastern Ohio, taught classes for museums and community art centers, and produced a line of production pottery. I moved to Taos in 2013 in pursuit of blue skies and mountains and quickly fell in love.
Owning a studio was never a goal, but has been an incredible experience that I would never trade.
