History

Established in 2001.

Spectrum Paper Company, Inc. started business in February 2001 by Jim and Norma Brown, owners and both El Paso natives. Spectrum Paper distributes office and printing papers, packaging supplies, janitorial equipment and supplies and the latest segment in office supplies, furniture, and food service supplies. To keep up with a dynamic and ever-​changing market, Spectrum is affiliated with national industry organizations that add strength and support independent businesses. These groups include the Association of Independent Printing Paper Merchants (AIPPM); IS Group, a national group of independent stationer and office supply companies; ISSA, a worldwide cleaning industry association; AFFLINK, a worldwide partnership of janitorial supplies and chemicals; Home Grown of El Paso, an organization promoting doing business with local El Paso based companies; and the El Paso Chamber of Commerce. We have been HUB certified and presently are in the process of renewing our certification.
