Off Grid Hardware was created by two entrepreneurs with a passion for renewable energy, sustainable living, and a more natural lifestyle. We are a low impact company that practices sustainability. We supply products and appropriate technology to support our customers sustainable lifestyles. We are active installers, designers, and fabricators who share a similar vision and passion, while living off grid. From our distributors and installers to our core team, we have all lived with solar energy and other forms of off grid technology for years, so we can practice what we preach! Business Owner
Shelby Ruff co-founded Off Grid Hardware with another industry leader with a focus on solar energy project development and off grid battery storage systems. Shelby brings 9 years of solar energy industry experience after successfully co-founding and selling a nationwide residential solar energy company, to a global solar distributor. He also has 10 years of Recruiting experience supporting pre/post IPO Start-Up and Global businesses. Shelby received his MBA in Management and his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, both with high honors, from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio, while on scholarship playing 4 years of NCAA Men’s Soccer. Shelby and his family use solar energy and off grid products in their daily lives, and he only wants to offer the best renewable and off grid technology for sustainable living!
