Mathnasium instructors use our unique assessment process to determine (with great accuracy) exactly what each child knows and what they need to learn. Next, we design a customized learning plan for teaching the concepts the student needs to master. It doesn’t stop there — our encouraging instructors continually check progress along the way to make sure kids truly understand and retain the concepts we’ve taught. History

Established in 2014.

Owner and Director Vince Martinez is a native El Pasoan, educated at UTEP in Electrical Engineering and Management and has a 30-​year career as a retail executive at Wal-​Mart corporate, and in the San Francisco, San Antonio, Austin, and Houston markets. Our mission is to help students realize their potential in math and support our parents and teachers in math academics.

Meet the Business Owner

Vince M.

Business Owner

Vince is a native El Pasoan returning home after a 30-​year retail career where he served primarily in executive positions with Wal-​Mart in their corporate office and responsible for the San Francisco and Austin to Houston markets. Vince learned the importance of math skills early from his start as an engineering student at UTEP and then onto his development in the business and management environment. Vince has a B.S. in Management and has focused on the development of leaders his entire career. He most recently taught a leadership class in his local high school to develop leadership among the senior class. «Math is the road that leads to all problem solving and in all professions, and I want to make it our mission to give every child the ability to reach their potential.»

Vince and his wife of 23 years, Lindy have 3 children with two in college and one in high school that gives him a broad aspect of current curriculums. He has also served his communities as a church board trustee.
