This is definitely the place to hangout on weekends. Great prices and great atmosphere. Bartenders are awesome!

Lloyd’s is a Dive bar that does dive-y things fairly well. Cheap drinks that are strong? Hell yes. Fairly clean by dive bar standards I would say the highlights were the digital jukebox, the big pull down screen they had going for baseball games, the pool tables, and the outside patio. Decent mix of people. They have cards against humanity at the bar that you can play. That’s pretty cool! I didn’t see any young people in there(sides myself and I’m 30+). I’d go back for a drink before going somewhere else, or if finishing up the night. Or if you want to host some kind of game party.

Alright, so Lloyd’s has gotten a whole new team of folks behind the bar and it has really turned this place around. Service is decent, drinks are adequately strong, and the whole place seems to be in better spirits(pun intended). Hopefully this will continue!

I have been to Lloyd’s quite a few times. It’s nice to go to a place where you can go in sweats and not get judged. This place always has a mix of different people along with its regulars. I like the patio in the winter. You can watch the game and there is a nice gas fireplace so you won’t freeze your ass if you choose to smoke. The bartenders especially after 8 pm do tend to play favorites and can be rude FYI. There are two pool tables and dart games. Good Super Bowl parties.

This bar looks like a place where you could score angel dust from a guy named«Memphis,» in the toilet, but its harmless, fun, and cheap.

So what can I say… I hardly never write reviews but this was a must. I have been going to Lloyd’s for about 13 years having moved out of El Paso for the past 7 years and I made it a tradition to go to Lloyd’s every year for the holidays, never had a problem until this past Christmas weekend. I had 2 beers and and 2 tequila shots which was for me and a friend by the way one was bought for me by a friend. When I got the check it was 47 dollars and I asked the bartender why there was 9 tequila shots on my tab if I only ordered 1, she said I ordered them and was very rude so I called the manager the manger came up and told me she backed up her bartenders and yelled at me to get out of the bar. I was so insulated, embarrassed and walked out of there thinking what the hell just happened? They must deal with a lot of drunks there I guess(which I wasn’t) but thats no excuse to treat everyone like that, she should of heard me and try to find out why I was charged for those 9 shots I am still baffled. I did not sign my receipt so I’m calling my credit card company. It’s not about the money its about how I was treated… Told all my friends and family so they won’t be going either. Sad I won’t be going again.

Went with a couple of friends after the travesty of the Miner game. This was definitely the place to lift our spirits. The atmosphere is friendly, everyone is welcoming and the service is pretty good. The wait to get a drink at the bar varies, but normally isn’t long and the bartenders do come around to serve you also. Once it gets busy though, your best bet is to go up to the bar. Apparently, Lloyd’s is an institution on the Westside. My mom was telling me how her and my aunt used to go back in the day. The think I enjoyed about Lloyd’s is that there literally were people of all ages there. The jukebox never stopped and the music ranged from good old Zeppelin to the more modern rock you can hear on the radio now a days. Drinks are affordably priced and both the bartenders had a heavy pour(which of course is never a bad thing!). Lloyd’s is definitely the quintessential dive bar. If you’re looking for a place to go, where you can let your hair down and meet some interesting people, then Lloyd’s is your bar! At Lloyd’s you definitely get more bang for your buck and you get to say that you hung out at Don Haskins old pub of choice.

Local watering hole and stomping ground of the residents on the west side of El Paso. Jessica makes a mean Long Island Iced tea so dont miss out if you stop by!
