Was helped by a very kind and helpful salesperson who clearly loved his city.(I forget his name, but he spoke Spanish. Maybe Robert?)

I am someone that performs a lot of research prior to making a purchase. I have visited all three locations and my experience was the same. When I actually was ready to make my purchase, I was fortunate to get Rob! This man was a pro. We worked with me to ensure I was properly sized for the bike. I rode several bikes and he was patient and offered detailed explanation for each comment he made. As a result, I was fitted to a totally different size than my research had suggested. He made my experience enjoyable. I left very educated. I did not leave with the bike because he needed the Quality Control to be completed on the assembly and I was scheduled to come back for additional fitting. When I arrived for the fitting, my bike was already on the trainer and over the next 45 minutes I was asked to perform different movements and the bike was customized to me. I am totally happy with my purchase and have enjoyed training hard on my new bike!

I’m so impressed by the guys here at this Crazy Cat. Depending on what brand of bike you’re looking for will determine which store you should go to(they each carry different bikes), but if you can go to this location, do! We have a Crazy Cat Cyclery closer to our house, but that one didn’t carry the particular bike my fiancé, Charles, was interested in so we headed over to this one. I actually really like that they all carry different bikes because these aren’t huge stores, but this way they can actually have a huge selection. The prices are competitive with other stores and what you’d find online. Roberto offered his help as soon as we saw us and we were able to locate the bike we were looking for very quickly. From there he led us outside so Charles could actually test out the different heights, settings, etc. While we waited for Charles to make a loop around the block, Roberto told me about the gym they have located on the second floor that really focuses on not just the cyclist, but also the triathlete. Roberto had Charles test out a couple of things and from there was able to determine which size was best for him. The whole process amazed me because we didn’t just walk in purchasing a bike and hoping for the best, we knew we got the best. The bike was well below what we would’ve paid anywhere else because as it turned out they had purchased them while the bike company was running a sale and so Crazy Cat had decided to honor the price on their current inventory even after the sale was over. Awesome! Roberto also gave us a free trial membership to the gym upstairs(FSA). And the following day they had the bike all ready for my fiancé to test out, be fitted, and take home. I was really happy with the service and the price. Their customer service is top notch and that alone is reason enough for me to be a continued customer. We’ll definitely be back for any additional bike gear Charles may need(or want), but who knows… I might be getting a bike in the near future.

I’ve come here a few times for a tuneup on my sturdy old mountain bike, and they’ve been extremely prompt – the bike’s always ready long before they say it will be, which is awesome. They don’t overcharge or try to scare you into buying things you won’t need – one man actually talked me out of buying new tires, while another alerted me to a few parts that would need replacing soon but not right away. Today was particularly great – they helped me install a bike rack on my car and we had a long, serious talk about upgrading to a road bike – financing, fit, materials, things to consider in terms of components, tires, handlebars, and so forth. When I do get a new bike, it’ll be from them.

Basically you have to know the bike you’re looking for, which a beginner wouldn’t. Two stars because my pedal(of a bike I never bought there) was loose and they tightened it at no cost! The man also said something was wrong with one of my breaks and that they«fixed» it but now it doesn’t work at all. The bike shop up the street had more affordable bikes and they were SUPER nice and EXTEMELY helpful. No lie. I went for one bike and bought two plus all the necessities for a smooth ride! Crazy Cat was never rude to me or anything at just not as helpful as the other bike shop. I’ve been here about 4x because I was really trying to like them.

I rented a road bike for one day and had a thoroughly outstanding experience with this shop. They took my reservation by phone a few days ahead of my visit. We decided that the planned L size was too small so an XL bike was fitted for me instead. I had a great 35 mile ride, but developed a flat, probably from a thorn, while descending Transmountain Road. I had been given a spare tube and I had a pump, so it was no problem to fix the flat. But I suspected the other tire was also going flat, so I headed into the shop. Sure enough, I had two more flats. These flats were simply from riding, probably through thorns, and not from any tire issue with the bike. The shop quickly and cheerfully changed out both tubes, handed over another spare and directed me to a route for another 20 miles of riding. What a great introduction ot El Paso!

EXCELLENTCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! –I live 3 hrs from a bike shop. I have a 3-day race next month. My bike started having some problems. I could NOT leave my bike! This shop was willing to service my bike in the one day I had and did a fantastic job and did not overcharge or try to sell things I didn’t need.

Took my road bike in for a basic service which tool 4+ days to complete. To finish it all off, when I arrived to pick up my bike it was sitting outside in the rain…

This shop is fantastic and has a good selection of new road and mountain bikes as well as helmets and assorted parts(I really don’t know enough about bikes to say anything else). The staff did a great job explaining the ins and out of bikes. Also, the mechanics recently held a community service event and I was privy to some great repair tips and tricks. Visit the shop, even for basic repairs.
