not my cup o tea… but ok. Food is way over-priced for what you get. Nothing amazing wise in atmosphere or food, really just a trendy place that for the El Paso area is likely newish for here.

This was our last meal in America, we were really hoping it wouldn’t be a disappointment. We got our wish! This place was delicious!!! Both my parents got the green chile chicken and waffles and I got the fried chicken sandwich. For his sides my dad got the green chile Mac and cheese and the mushrooms. He loved his main and his sides. I didn’t try the Mac and cheese because I don’t go for spicy and I don’t usually go for mushrooms, but his mushrooms were delicious! They both looped the green chile chicken and waffles. They weren’t let down by the green chile at all. My moms sides were the corn and sweet potato fries, both were delicious especially with the garlic aioli. My meal, though especially large, was amazing. The baroque sauce was unique and the chicken itself was moist and breaded deliciously. My coconut tea was sweet and definitely coconutty which can be difficult to find. I would most certainly come back and plan to upon a return to the country. Not Bly was the food good, but the service was as well. I have seen posts that describe the service as poor but perhaps they have improved since then. Our server was attentive and engaging. The environment was warm and inviting and definitely pleasing to the eye, the overall vibe was satisfying and yniqye

The reason I have decided to rate Crave two stars is because of the service. The food is great but my server and literally the entire vibe was awkward. I waited so long for every single thing. Even a to go box. It was around 2:30 pm and not very busy, and I felt like my server should have been more attentive. Maybe if I looked or dressed differently my server would have tried to make it a decent experience. Reason I say that is because the couple that sat next to me who were older, were treated differently by the same server! It was ridiculous. All I know is I would never go on a busy day. And I should probably take my parents next time if I want to be treated like a human being.

If you want a burger go to independent burger, if you want good breakfast go to hillside coffee and donut co., if you’re looking for nice dinner dining go to stonewood. Casual date try malolam for taco Tuesday’s and $ 1 beer Mondays. They’re food has little to no flavor, they’re green chili Mac has no flavor and the only thing semi good there is there rib eye sandwhich when even that isn’t so great.

I visited after a coworker recommend them to me. I ordered the green chili chicken and waffles, the portion was huge and delicious. The waffles were cooked perfectly. I was really impressed by how moist and delicious the chicken and chili were. My GF ordered the chorizo burrito and she loved it.

We used to go here all the time, but a post of recent reviews shows this place trending downward quickly. Proceed with caution. The service has gone to hell and the food wait times are terribly excessive. 50 min for soup and salad is just embarrassing. Good luck to all those who still dine here but we’re taking our time and business elsewhere.

I LOVETHISPLACE. My stay in El Paso was only for 3 days and I came here for breakfast 2 out of those 3 days. Th breakfast was bomb. Get the Haystack! It comes with crispy hash browns(I get mine super crispy) topped with two eggs with bacon AND sausage AND you get to choose a side! All for $ 7.50. I got the short stack and it was DELICIOUS. SOGOOD. The pancakes are not cooked all the way… but the middle seems like a custard or some type. I can’t really put my finger on it… but it was still delicious. My to-go restaurant when in El Paso!

Food was great. Service not so much. When I arrived and sat down. No one even acknowledged me until I addressed someone … 15 minutes after sitting down. Busy or not someone should still address you and let you know they’ll be with you as soon as they can. There were multiple staff standing around some working and some just talking. Needless to say the lack of courtesy was inexcusable. Shortly after, a server waited on me. She was pretty nice and polite. I ordered an omelette. In the description was bacon and some other veggies. The omelette arrived without any bacon so turned it away and it was remade with bacon this time.

Crave is on the list of top restaurants in El Paso for a reason! This place is the bomb! We came on a Tuesday which is burger night– $ 5 burger of your choice and fries. We sat at the bar but didn’t order burgers. My friend got the half size chicken and waffles with greens and sweet potato fries. The chicken and waffles were good, the greens were too spicy for him but the sweet potato fries with the marshmallow dipping sauce was amazing! The sauce made the fries taste like dessert! I had the green chile Mac n cheese!!! Yassss! It was spicy, cheesy goodness! Then I got the ‘pot’ brownie! Should be called the crack brownie! It was served in a warm cast iron skillet, crunchy crust on top, gooey bottom, warm nuts, and vanilla ice cream! It was seriously one of the best brownie desserts I’ve ever had. I’d come back for the alone! The entire meal was enough the share. The portions are huge and the customer service was superb!

Great food and if it’s not too hot a nice patio to enjoy the sunset. When I was there they had live music on the patio. I had the mahi tacos with chili mac n cheese and garlic spinach.

Crave is SO good! The restaurant is trendy and comfortable. They don’t have much out door seating or parking for that matter, but if you’re a crave fan like me you’ll find a way! I used to without fail go for the chicken and waffles because that’s a rare sighting in El Paso, the full order is HUGE, and comes with two sides… So come with an appetite. You never fail with the sweet potato fries and the green chile Mac and cheese. SERIOUSLY, try the green chile Mac and cheese! This trip I opted for the grilled mahi tacos which are also AMAZING. Depending what you are in the mood for! Now for dessert… The barely baked cookie is the BEST. Trust me you want to go for this one. The barely baked cookie is served piping hot with slightly toasted edges and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It’s AMAZING. The reason I gave crave a 4 star rating it because I have tried a few things that aren’t very good so you don’t always go right with whatever you order. But overall it’s a great place! Give it a try!

The best breaded green chile and chicken, I’ve ever had. Then put it I’ve a good waffle, with your choice of syrup or a sweet green chile sauce. I’m so full but I couldn’t stop eating. Great outside seating, perfect weather. I was approached by a pan handler but in this area of the country your not going to avoid that. Great service very trendy! Definitely recommend!

Great food! Wow. I was expecting a trendy place with undersized portions and a premium check on pretentiousness. Boy was I wrong. I got the green chile chicken and waffles. Seriously one of the best things I’ve ever had in my life. So much food too. Wow! My wife actually said she thinks the burger is the best burger she has had in her life. They cooked it perfectly. Overall very impressed with Crave and will be back. They could use a bigger draught selection, but that’s okay. Can’t wait to go back!

I absolutely love this place! It is rather small, so if it’s crowded, the wait can be long. If the bar is available, you can eat there which is what we did when we went for breakfast. The food is extremely tasty and nice portions. I’ve eaten breakfast and lunch. I’ve gone in saying I was going to try their carb loaded breakfast, but haven’t fully done that. I will continue eating here as their flavor a are like a smörgåsbord in your mouth.

Nice cozy spot! I came because my date raved on and on about the Mahi tacos here, so of course I had to try them. Extremely delicious! Beware that entrees vine with two sides(not a small size either). Garlic spinach: taste just as they sound delicious Green chile Mac and cheese: hmm… Taste like velveta with added spice to me. Lol not my cup of tea, though my date ate mine and his serving. Sweet potato fries: got to try this! Come with standard ketchup and a sweet brown sugar sauce and gives the fries a completely different flavor! I didn’t know at first, but they have a big selection of beer and wine here as well(just flipped over the food menu, lol).

They say that if you have a small space, adding mirrors will open it up. This place took that concept a bit too far. The place here really is tiny, but upon entering, on both your right and left are mirrored walls. I almost walked in to a mirror in my attempt to go to the dining area. Again, in the back near the restrooms, there are more mirrors and I again almost walled into the mirror. It may have been that I had only arrived in El Paso after many hours of driving from Houston, but still, the mirrors were annoying. As for the restaurant itself, I can’t really figure out what this place is. It seems like a breakfast type place, but it serves beer. Scanning the menu, I couldn’t categorize this place in my mind — would I go here for lunch, brunch, or for drinks on some random night? But I was hungry, tired, and this place was open late with good reviews. I had the chicken and waffles with their green chili mac & cheese and a Mexican corn side. The chicken and waffles were passable although nothing to rave about. For me, it was the sides that were rave-worthy. I don’t understand how I’ve lived over 30 years and never had green chili mac & cheese. It was so wonderful. I could eat that stuff all day. And the Mexican corn side?!? Delicious. I live in California so am no stranger to Mexican cuisine, but I’ve never seen anything like that offered up in California. Both very simple dishes but I was completely taken by them. Also worth noting was the manager that evening. A really nice guy who provided very attentive service. It was odd though, because the level of service he provided is the sort you expect at a fine dining establishment — «of course sir,» «right away sir», «my pleasure sir», etc… — but at this, a dive-y, neighborhood joint, it was kind of off putting at first. Like I just wanted to eat, but he was so attentive and nice that he demanded to be acknowledged. You can’t just nod to someone like that, you have to engage them. I’m not complaining — he gave excellent service — I’m just commenting on the cognitive dissonance I experienced in getting such high service in a place I don’t expect it. Anyways, despite it being so small — I don’t think I’d like eating here when it’s crowded — I did enjoy the food and the experience. If I lived in El Paso, I think I’d come here with some regularity.

I like this place because the food is delicious! The menu is usually on the wall and the waitress will seat you and provide a menu as well. Seating is very limited in this restaurant though and if you want privacy, this would not be your best choice. There are about 4 tables in the front as well but I’m sure most people would only sit there if the weather permits. Food is always delicious, fresh and the portions are outrageous and satisfying. When you order a meal, it comes with a side and the sides are usually what get you full! Come here for brunch as you can get the best of both worlds!

Having been to crave on the east side, we were in the area on the west side and in bad need of some breakfast. This review however, will not be about pancakes and stuff… Because we got there at 1100 and they stop serving breakfast at 1030 lol. Slightly smaller than the east side location, but not less busy. We waited about 30 minutes for our seat. I ordered chicken and waffles. Very good, as was the last time I was here and ordered chicken and waffles lol. Sweet potato fries and the marshmallow sauce was on point. Mac and cheese: yes please. I cant really write a much different review, as I had the exact same thing as I did at the east side spot, and it was of exact same quality. Soooo, if you want a full page review of either spot, search my east side one lol. Otherwise, this was par for the crave course. But I swear to god. I’m getting breakfast at crave one of these days!!! Mark my words… I will wake up(doubtful honestly) and leave the house by 0900 on a weekend and get Crave Breakfast!!! Das It Mayne

This was the first time I visited Crave on the West side. We weren’t sure if we could even find a parking spot when we saw so many people waiting in line, but luckily they had big enough parking spaces. Food was good as always. I got homemade chips and salsa, grilled chicken sandwich with pesto mayo, and sweet potato waffle fries w/marshmallow sauce.(You have to get the sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce! It’s so addicting!) I personally like the east side location better though. This one is so small so we had to share a table with someone. Also, they need more servers there. Even though there were a few tables open when we came in, because everyone was too busy taking orders and serving food, nobody was available to clean the table for like 15 minutes. Also, we saw servers serving breakfast at 11:30AM when we came in. We got so excited for pancakes but they told us that they finished serving breakfast at 10:30. And the reason why they’re serving breakfast now was because the restaurant was busy and it took them 1 hour to cook… WHAT?! Soo be prepared to wait for your food if you’re there for breakfast on weekend. Wait time for our food wasn’t that bad. Appetizer came in so quick and we probably waited for 20 – 30 min for our meals. But overall, their food is worth the wait and I’m definitely going back thousand times more!
