Very cool spot small but very friendly and polite people and staff, the bartender was really a good sport on telling us where to go to eat and drink and and she new her beers too so overall it was a fun experience

Charming, slightly quirky little eatery in El Paso. Good food, great service and beer selection and fun setting. Would definitely return if back in El Paso. The cheese, arugula and jam sandwich was delicious and the special, their take on a Reuben, was quite good.

For the most part everything is great. My only problem is that I feel stressed out in that place. Overall, amazing food and beer.

The staff was so knowledgeable about their beer selection. They helped me chose a great beer! The food was amazing! Whenever I’m in El Paso again I’d definitely come here!

They bartenders were super helpful to a complete non beer person trying to find the right beverage! I really appreciated the patience.

Came from out of town for a friends wedding; craft and social was part of the festivities. Absolutely impressed with the selection and the gracious owner, Rafael, who gave us a warm welcome and tour of his place. If you’re ever in El Paso, this is a must visit place.

LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff are extremely friendly and engaging with the customer. They are also very knowledgeable about craft beer and make great recommendations. The sandwiches are great as well, especially the Drunken Cow. There are quite a few regulars that some in, but with so many hotels close by you meet a lot of interesting people from all over. The atmosphere and staff make for a very friendly and engaging environment and I have often found myself in conversations with the staff as well as the random people walking through the doors.

I came in on a lazy Sunday just to be outside and enjoy the quiet downtown. It was beautiful outside and a crisp IPA was exactly what I needed to relax before starting a hard week of work. They have nice and comfy furniture outside and it was great to just be outside sipping on the «Best before 4−20−16» beer from Stone. The staff was very friendly and didn’t mind us just hanging out and only buying one beer. They definitely know their beer and can rattle of a great description. The inside is very nice in a rustic/​modern kind of way. Nice chalkboard beer menu. Nice reclaimed wood benches and tables. I did not try the food as I was not hungry, but will definitely be back soon!

This place was awesome! Stumbled upon it and felt like a brew. Service was great and so were the beers. Local and CA (Stone Enjoy By). Charcuterie plate was just the ticket. Worth a stop !!!

This is where the adventures began! As Day 1 of a new job, my buddy and I were grabbing our firt beer at Craft and Social. $ 6 is a decent price for a craft brew, and our server Josh was very patient letting us trying some before we settled upon one. We couldn’t resist ordering the Cheeser to split as well even though we had already eaten already. At least, I think we ate. I don’t know, I just remember wanting to order another Cheeser.
Basically a 4* experience except that Josh was rad and he introduced us to another regular who ended up taking us on a pub crawl/​tour around El Paso that stands out as the highlight off our tour. I almost want to come back to El Paso just to go to Craft and Social!
Just remembered… I think we met the owner while we were there. Not that that has any relevance, but I just remembered, and remembering things is cool.

Craft & Social was like a little slice of civilized heaven in El Paso. The cool atmosphere, the super friendly staff and other guests, the delicious food, and the beer. Oh the beer. I know my way around a craft beer list (ie — how to avoid the super hops and find what I like), but everything on this menu was new to me! They were happy to give me a taste of any of the beers. The food — as described by the bartender — is all light and pairs well with the beers.
Overall this place was just really chill and friendly. The kind of place I’d love be become a local at.

Great hole in the wall bar. Dave, the bartender, really knew his stuff. Good selection of beers on tap. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by.

I came here around noon, lunch time, on a weekday looking for a quick bite. The place is inviting and friendly. They have a large selection of craft beers. I ordered a sandwich with cucumber fries. The plate was good, I ordered a second set of cucumber fries.
The place becomes a bar at night. I wouldn’t say it is kid friendly. The menu selection is small, mostly salads and sandwiches.
I think this is a good beer joint that fits perfectly in the downtown setting.

Craft and Social is an itty-​bitty hole-​in-​the-​wall place, but it will not disappoint! They have an amazing selection of beers. My personal favorite is the Milk Stout by Left Hand Brewing Company– purple tap with the cow on it :)
The food is delicious and fast, which makes for a good mid-​day work lunch. I rather like their French Dip style sandwich. The portions are decent, but not huge. This makes for an overall opinion that it is on the pricier side of lunch places in the downtown area. However, the atmosphere, friendly service, and solidly good menu options make up for this. The waiters and bartenders are always up to chat with you, if you’re interested in a conversation while you eat. I also really appreciate the fact that it’s owned by three friends– just local guys doing their best at rejuvenating El Paso.
You probably won’t end up here by accident, considering the actual storefront of the business is about 12 feet in diameter! However, I highly recommend that you check them out on purpose– truly lovely local spot!

Craft and Social is my favorite bar in town. I’m not much of a bar regular, but if I were, this would be the place that I would regularly frequent for booze and good company. To me it’s a place that the introvert can better enjoy because it doesn’t feel at all awkward going here by yourself and if you go with other people you can actually carry on a conversation without having to shout.
In spite of my non-​regular bar status, I have actually been here on several occasions in the past year. Each and every time has been enjoyable and super chill. Whether I was hanging out here with a couple of friends and playing Cards Against Humanity late on a Saturday night, or stopping by on my own in the late afternoon on a weekday, I have enjoyed every moment at Craft & Social.
Having worked at a beer joint in the distant past, I will admit that I have been a bit of a beer snob ever since. Well, this place serves great beer in my opinion! Whether you are a light beer lover or a dark, sweet, and strong beer style lover like myself, you will be at home here.
I’ve also tried a few items on the menu such as the Tomato-​Basil hummus, Guacamole, Gold Age Platter, and Bellanzana sandwich. These food items were very flavorful and fresh tasting and I would order all of them again.
The other thing I like about Craft & Social is that they silently play old movie classics on a projector. The last time I was here they were playing The Princess Bride. Now that movie coupled with some strong beer was weirdly enjoyable I must say!
I wish that Craft & Social and the Pizza Joint next door weren’t as competitive. A friend of mine got a piece of pizza next door and brought it in and took a few bites. The manager said he could go ahead and finish it up (which was very nice), but that in the future he should not bring over any pizza from there. I truly understand the rationale behind this since Craft & Social has their own delicious food; It’s just that pizza and quality beer directly together are such a good combo!!! Wish these two businesses could work together somehow, but again I do understand!
In summation, I sure do think that Craft & Social is one hell of a place and I very much look forward to more enjoyable experiences at this unique establishment!

Oh, for fuck’s sake. Someone builds a business aimed squarely at my demographic, and they go and put it in El Paso, Texas? I know, every resurgent big city has its arts district with creatively repurposed (salvage) materials over «good bones,» but where else can you find a downtown with such retar-​dard traffic lights and looks just like a horizontally-​compressed Tucson?
Lots of craft and import beers to accompany a super delicious salad and a well-​conceived grilled sandwich served in a just-​a-​tiny-​bit pretentious atmosphere (mid-​2000s indie rock playing, grease pencil on antique window sashes) work for me on so many levels.

I came in during the national bowling tournament because the Unilocal reviews sounded good, and C&S didn’t disappoint. A warm and inviting atmosphere with a certain hipster vibe. Larger shared spaces for dining or drinking and a very open layout with a few chairs on the sidewalk as outdoor seating.
When I was in the place was staffed by the guy behind the bar (different each time but seemingly just 1 person). Neither time did the service disappoint though. I found my bartender to be engaging and fun when the place was quiet along with some insightful beer recommendations while still accommodating and attentive when the place was pretty full.
For food I had the Drunken Cow and it was quite good. The guac was also delicious albeit served with less than traditional chips.
They have a good selection of craft beer on draft and a few specials in bottles as well that kept my inner beer geek happy.
Certainly recommend paying this place a visit if your in the area.

I went to Craft and Social on the recommendation of several friends. Now I too am a fan. I came in on a quiet Monday night and sat at the bar. Craft and Social is not a large bar but could probably hold quite a few people due to its smart layout. I ordered a chardonnay which was nicely chilled and had a nice fruity flavor. I loved the size of the pour (it was a full pour which makes me happy). The bar service was very good. Bartender was friendly and offered recommendations. He recommended the cheeser sandwich but thought I should add prosciutto for a little meat. I agreed. Food came out pretty quickly. The sandwich didn’t have an prosciutto and the bartender was apologetic and offered to send it back to have meat added but I had already eaten half of it so it was fine. The sandwich was good. Very sweet from the jam they put in it. Bread was nicely grilled. I didn’t care for the chips though since it’s the kind of artisan chips you’d expect at a wine and cheese event.
I liked the music they play in the bar. There was a couple times where the bartender was singing along to the music (I was too but this wasn’t a musical, we we weren’t in sync). Craft and Social has a upscale/​hipster vibe that is very laid back. Cook came out to hang by the bar periodically and he was very friendly. I overheard the bartender tell another patron that they do fill beer growlers. If I’m downtown and need a drink, Craft and Social would be top on the list of places to go.

Ok let me start by saying I am a mom that often has a child tagging along on my adventures. She is well behaved and tolerant of most of the places I take her. That said here is what I have to say. Note that we called ahead to make sure children were ok.
Arrived (child in tow) and walked into a trendy lounge with comfortable seating. Definitely a place to go with a few people to be social as the name suggests. Sat down waiter brought menus and offered water. (Also, I am with other adults). Delicious cucumber infused water that was delicious and refreshing on a hot summer El Paso day. Most kids I know don’t like this type of water and naturally my kid said no after tasting it. Ok fine I asked for lemonade. Pretty standard. They had none. But offered some carbonated flavored water. Knowing my kid I said no. Ok so no drinks.
I opened the menu. Umm sandwiches and salads. Short one page list that is good for a small place with a limited kitchen. However nothing that would be kid friendly. So I had to make decision to leave so that my child could eat too. I ask for the bill get an annoyed and irritated look from the waiter.
So here is the reason for the three stars. We called asked about kids they said ok but nothing about limited drink or food selections for children. Their wine was over priced but understandable when paying for an experience. And the waiter/​bartenders attitude when clearly we had to leave because of children.
Lesson learned: Downtown is not for children.
