1712 Salon & Spa

When you walk in, you’re greeted with a friendly smile. Their waiting area is a little bit small, and I’m wondering how it would work if all the stylists were running a few minutes behind and had to have their clients wait. I was waiting for about 15 – 20 minutes for my stylist to finish up. I had one stylist ask if I would care for something to drink, she caught me off guard, and I said no, thank you.
My hair stylist, Audrey, is the only reason I tried 1712, and continue to go back. My previous hair stylist was fine (and a bit cheaper) but she used to double book appointments and rush through my hair cut. Audrey only has you in her chair for however long it takes her to make sure you walk out the door looking your best.
She always gets my color looking amazing. Her haircuts are equally as amazing. She really spends her time caring for you and your concerns. I like that she isn’t nosey, and doesn’t try and get juicy gossip to talk about. I tend to get uncomfortable just walking in and listening to the conversations that go on in hair salons! Audrey is perfectly ok with working in silence if you’re not in the conversational mood.
I walk out, and my hair instantly looks well cared for. I always get compliments on my color and cut, and don’t hesitate to send them Audrey’s way.
This place is pricey. They’ve recently raised their prices at a hair raising rate (no pun intended!) I’m just going to have to put aside extra money to make sure I save enough to get my hair done, because Audrey is worth it.

Great salon that is located in the old hair odyssey. Audrey is a color and cut goddess… ask for her!

i would review them, but Cindy has left, so i probably won’t be returning here. not because it’s bad, just because the lady that cuts my hair isn’t there any more. no qualms. it’s a hair salon.
