There is barely any parking in the main lot but there is basement parking. I didn’t have to go up and do business since I only came with my mom. She told me it got busy though even before they opened! She was first in line but we got there an hour early! So yeah.

Male security officer was sooooooo RUDE. He treats people like criminals or shit. At least, girls at the finger print desk were kind.

I read the reviews before I went in and braced myself for nasty attitudes. I even made a point to remember not to say any «thank you’s». When I went in, however, I had a different experience from what most reviews say. It was an all-​female staff and everyone was really nice and friendly and some were even joking around with myself as well as with other people waiting. The wait wasn’t stellar and my appointment did last a little under an hour but it wasn’t bad esp. considering what I was expecting.

Now I understand why phones are not allowed to be used inside. I was here to bring a friend and witness a supervisor bring a person in line, all the way in with no wait. Simply because the girl basically had her breast out and was flirting with the supervisor. It’s not fair for all the other people waiting to be called. What example are you displaying, or what type of reputation are you trying to set to this office. Flirt on your own time, not on the time of others that get off early from work… Or take the day off to come to your office. You have ridiculous rules for customers that come to your office. Yet you lack the capacity to show professionalism.

I went there today thinking I was going to be there all day and seeing all the bad reviews I was telling myself I’m not saying hi to anybody lol that was a joke as soon as I went in the security greeted me with a good morning and the rest of employees said hello to me first I was very happy everything went fast!

Come here with my relative, all I can say is they realLy waste our time. It’s our second time to come because my relative couldn’t get her fingerprint done last time. There are over one hundred of people waiting there, if you can’t handle that much, pls hire more people to help.

I loved this Place! Absolutely Outstanding in terms of Professionalism and High Efficiency Teamwork and the most Heavenly Hygenic Energy Flow I’ve ever experienced at a Government Office. Traffic is well controlled through the Workers, it looks like the Captain and/​or Workers really do read the Feedback because I didn’t get that Robot feel from them at all, they were very Human and Helpful in every way Possible. Plus, the Head Captain has the Coolest Office in the World! He is so Cultured and Funny and Unpredictable in the Best Way, I had a lot of great Laughs with Him and consider Him an Outstanding Example for the Rest of the Team to Follow. Very Highly Disciplined and Well Organized Place, they even had Kid Movies playing to brighten up the Ambiance and I thought their Team Morale was just Fantastic. Yeah Parking is Tough, make sure you come early to have all that Squared Off to control your Stress Triggers. A+ Review from Me, I loved this Place!

First of all, we all know Unilocaling this place is completely useless in terms of changing them, but this is indeed a great place for some relief and sharing.
What can I say? You go to this USCIS place probably because you have to. The people there are basically all machines with absolutely no emotion. You just have to follow their instructions and you are not supposed to ask them any questions. They won’t answer you anyway.
From my experience of having to go there 5+ times whether for myself or for my parents, my advice to all of you who have to go there:
First of all, go ahead and park on street, because that’s where you will end up having to park anyway. Starting from the moment you come across with the security guard (who has been there for 10+ years btw!!), you really do not need to say a word. When they say «sit over there», you just go sit down; when they say «give me that form», then you just hand them the form. Your objective is to get your things done, and you don’t need to care about anyone/​anything else, because they don’t either.
Remember, you do NOT, do NOT need to say «thank you» or «bye» to ANY of them. It is like saying «thank you» to a cop who is handing you a ticket. You will just feel stupid afterwards.

I came in expecting the worst but it turned out to be a wonderfully efficient experience! Came in around 2:45pm for biometrics as a walk-​in bc appointment scheduled for a few days later was cutting it too close. They were very accommodating – took my fingerprints and pictures and had me out in 10minutes. Amazing!

Only complaint I have is their attitude. The lady at the check in said everything in such a plain tone, which I understand since she needs to repeat herself over and over again for every person that comes in.
I took my number and sat down but had a question, so I stood up and walked towards her. She turned to me and said — «What’s your number?» I said, «oh it’s not my turn but I have…»
«WAIT UNTIL I CALL YOUR NUMBER, the number on that piece of paper.»
I do understand and speak English as well as reading arabic numbers, in case you didn’t notice.
Well, they are not exactly servers who work for tips. As long as my biometrics are processed correctly, what more can I ask for.

I would have given a 0 star if the system allowed it. I accompanied a friend who doesn’t speak very well English to go get a finger print. Oh boy… when we just stepped into the entrance, we felt we were treated like criminals, the male security officer was RUDE. He ordered us to turned off the cell phones and showed it to him in a very rude tone. He then ordered us to seat in the chairs next to other applicants who came before us and move up as it went. One of the applicant left some stain (which dried when the guard came) on the chair and we didn’t want to move into. Then the guard was mad and ordered me to seat away from my friend. I told him that my friend needs my help and he just ignored it. After I refused to move away, he then led the people behind us to go in and also said something about us to the officer inside. The officer came out and asked me a bit about the incidence and our appointment time. After he learned that we have an open appointment, he told us they cannot take the fingerprint because they were too busy. Which is so odd, first of all, there was nobody in the office, and second of all, if the guard was going to let the people behind us to go in, that meant they had time. They just didn’t want to take us. This is clearly an abusive of power case. Both the guard and the officer, who called himself officer William and he was in charge there. Officer William, what a shame…

Like most other ones, people working here have their head up their your know where. VERY inefficient in my case that I «needed» to see the boss in the corner office!
Parking is a nightmare also.

I am sorry to disappoint all the people that had those bad reviews and tell them NEVER VISIT A GOVERNMENTAL DEPARTMENT AT 8 AM
They will be always crowded because that’s what everyone thinks «let me go before everyone and finish early» when a 150 person think this way all governmental departments will be crowded. No parking. Staff seeing all those people and they will think «that will be a long day, so let me give those people a hard day too»
I went at 3:20pm. There was no one. No line. Underground parking was totally empty. All the staff were doing everything so fast because they didn’t wanna keep me, they wanted me out of there and they can’t kick me out because it wasn’t even 3:30pm I was done at 3:27pm

Worst experience! Unfortunately I have to go to this f-​ing place for all biometrics. Hopefully no more since I got my N-​400 done in downtown LA. Guard is loud and rude (dude has been there forever). Good luck finding a parking spot. Went for a reschedule, there was no one but guard flatly refused to make any consideration and put mine in the queue with USCIS. Fine but no progress even after 9 weeks. So went a different route and it worked.

This review is based on the 2 occasions I have been to have my biometrics taken at this location.
Parking: Do not even attempt to enter the parking lot for the building, spots are limited and also very difficult to get out! Save yourself the hassle and time, look for street parking across from the entrance on Lee or if you are coming from Rosemead Blvd, keep going immediately past the entrance there is a sign that says E&M parking (before getting on the bridge). That is basically the back access street for the building, and there are usually spots there.
My first visit was in early 2008 for an afternoon appointment. The offices are located on the second floor. I got there an hour before and was greeted by a very long line outside the door to the waiting area (basically in the hallway). The first thing to do is take out the papers and ID that you were instructed to bring and approach the security personnel at the door. They will inspect your papers and ID and then instruct you on what to do, which line to enter. I was told no phones or cameras allowed, go to the business next door to pay for them to hold my phone (this is not the case anymore, see 7÷23÷10 trip below). Since I wanted to get in line ASAP, I followed others who went next door, handed over my phone, and paid $ 2, and rushed back into the long line at the entrance. I waited ~30 minutes before they herded us in gave everyone a ticket with a number, instructed us to fill out forms and wait. Inside the large waiting area there was a separate line for those who needed to seen for special issues (overheard someone who was there for lost PR card). Waiting for them to call my ticket took another 1.5 hour and it was well past my appointment time when I was eventually fingerprinted and photographed.
On my second trip there (7÷23÷10), I arrived at 12pm for my 1pm appointment. There was no line outside. After looking over my papers and ID, they let me in right away, and instructed me to turn off my phone if I had one! There were signs clearly stating no phones, cameras, or food allowed. They did not check bags, but it seemed like they would not hesitate to kick you out if you whipped out your phone and proceeded to use it. They looked at my fingers (I read somewhere that if you have open wounds they might reschedule if they think they cannot get a good fingerprint), gave me a ticket number, and forms to fill. I was fingerprinted at ~1240pm. The waiting room had maybe 15 others waiting.
I thought the staff were curt but professional during both of my visits. What made it more uncomfortable the first time was obviously because there were a large number of people waiting to be seen or to have their biometrics taken.
In short, get there early, and bring something to read.

I had to get my biometric data taken here for a visa application and this place was just awful. Unprofessional, rude, inefficient, and slow. I was stuck here for over 2 hours to get some fingerprints taken, that ought to take 15 minutes.
There is hardly any parking in this shopping complex, so you’ll probably need to park down the road a ways. Leave your cell phone in the car too, as they aren’t allowed inside the office.
