This place has been trying to keep up ever since the extensions and change of management. It is not quite there yet but it’s a decent restaurant. The burgers are not half bad nor are the chicken sandwiches.

Generous portions of over salted fries. The best thing here was the salsa bar, next comes their burgers. Got the breakfast plate once. The hashbrowns looked like rubber(undercooked) but felt like a rock, the bacon was burnt. So burnt the hot grease burned right through the bottom of the container leaving it to look like a giant rat had chewed through the box. Only going back for a refund.

Its alright, the employees there are really nice, we go there almost every sunday, either take out or dine in. My dad always gets the menudo, its usually a little cold, but when he asks to get it reheated, it tastes good. We like it. It’s not perfect, but it’s close to my house.

Let me start off this review by saying… OMG! Now that omg isn’t a good thing or a bad thing… its kinda in between. My wife was out of town for the weekend, and being that neither me nor my son know how to cook, we took a walk to Tommy’s burgers, they are about 2 blocks away from my house. I had never eaten there before, so I was a bit slow at ordering. The girl taking my order was patient, and even offered some suggestions… she was nice. I ordered the steak sandwich with avocado, my son ordered a LARGE chili cheese fries. The sandwich was delicious, the horchata not so much, the chili cheese fries my son got, looked like a heart attack waiting to happen. The chili was bland, the cheese was not that well melted. I ate the full sandwich, my son ate about a quarter of his fries… Service was ok, food was ok… maybe ill return to try something else…

Not to get people confused but this is ‘Tommy’s ¼lb Burger ’(#1) there’s a few of these locations, it’s not the«Original Tommy’s «on Valley Blvd. Been coming here for yearss wit fam and friends for the burgers and fries! Delish! Got a burger($ 1.49+tax) and regular fries($ 1.99+tax) all less than $ 4! Burger is SO good and huge like their fat seasoned fries.(MmMm!)(o: It’s not thin like McDonalds, In-N-Outs. Etcs shoestring fries. Food: Breakfast is available ALL day, offers various Mexican Dishes, and classic burger food like fries, fried chicken, club sandwiches(yum!) avocado/bacon/cheeseburgers, etc. Jtlyk when they say ‘Would you like cheese w/that? Etc’ they don’t mention it’s$ 1 extra for any cheese/avocado addition unless you ask: p Service: The cook, cashier, and waitresses have always been SOO kind! A+! There’s even a cook that always says ‘Hello my friend! :D’ or ‘Goodbye! Have a nice day my friend! :D’. LOL Today the cook I’m used to wasn’t there but the cashier and cook were still all smiles when I left and got my food to go. ‘Bye! Have a nice day!(:’ They were all smiles. There is one restroom, booth seats, some gachapons, and two televisions that are always on the Spanish channels. There are complimentary salsas, peppers, and a ketchup dispenser as well. When dining in you can get free refills from the soda/aguas frescas machine. :D

Save your money. Do not eat here. Low standards here. The sodas never taste right and are flat, then I ask for them to change it, but they say they can’t. One time there was something inside my ice cube, that’s a first for me. If you order a burger, they’ll stuff it with lettuce. Also, the omelets they make, you can make at home. The floors and bathrooms are filthy. They will also charge you 1 more dollar if you use a debit card. Just eat some where else.

Directed incorrectly by a friend, we managed to arrive at the wrong Tommy’s burger. But, although it wasn’t the right, it was still a great choice. This place definitely is more than a burger joint, it has it’s share of mexican platters and they serve breakfast to boot. The décor reminds me of an elementary school cafeteria. It’s prolly that old. The food is pretty decent — try the bacon burger and the avocado one. You will die from it’s awesomeness. Those are worth the most bang for your buck. Eating here is probably a no, it’d be best to take it to go. But the staff is nice and full of smiles.
