Solano Tree Service

We hired Solano Tree Service to remove a large tree in our backyard and also to do tree trimming in our front and back yards. They did a fantastic job and also their price was very reasonable (we got a few estimates). They also kept within their initial estimate without any hidden or additional fees. Highly recommend.

They were accommodating in meeting and giving estimate and gave the best bid among others. $ 900 whereas others $ 1200 to $ 1600 to top 2 whole heavy limbs.
I was not able to be present until after the work was «done» and most of their crew left but one to staying for payment. I asked why the main task of topping the top limb was not done and was informed it would make the tree not as appealing. I asked could they return to finish cutting it regardless and I was quoted it would be an extra $ 150. Excuse me I have to pay more for something that was the primary reason they were their to cut?!?
To repeat, I’m quite disappointed that the work performed was not as agreed upon. Although the tree looks great from the unnecessary trimmings they were not requested. The primary task of topping only 2 whole heavy limbs not just their branches. They needlessly worked harder doing the wrong job! As our concern was long term control of the total height.
I repeatedly contacted Caesar by text and email since 12÷3÷2014 to make good on actually completing the job but since I made the mistake of giving the benefit of the doubt of by paying and signing the invoice I am being brushed off. The last response I got was a bid for another location, Caesar expressed no interest in finishing the first job but rather pass on a discount for the potential second job. The original bid was $ 3500 but was discounting to $ 3000. I declined since that was the second highest bid. $ 2100 to $ 2400 were the average and $ 1645 the lowest.
I really wanted to give them a high rating but not following simple directions and lack integrity they should be grateful I’m being fair and generous with 2 stars. I hope Caesar changes his mind so I will revise this review but I doubt it.

I wanted to higher local talent. I left a message and they called me back. They said they’d come the next day. Next day turned into a couple days — which was o.k. with me. They text me a quote which was convenient. I confirmed them to do the work and they disappeared. I called and text back with no response. Finally I realized I was working to hard for their service. I called another company & they came out the next day then scheduled me two days after that.

Extremely happy with Cesar and the cactus removal services he provided. His price was very affordable and he completed the job exactly as promised. I would definitely recommend his company.

Wow where do I start! Cesar is the best! I called a Sunday afternoon to ask for an estimate, thinking I would get a voicemail, he answered and was so helpful in answering all my questions. He was able to fit me in for the following day, which was awesome. He cleaned up all my palm trees, and still some. His prices are so reasonable! I would so recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Solano Tree Service (Cesar and his team) were all great!
We had a huge branch of our tree fall in our backyard. We called Solano Tree Service on a Sunday and Cesar came out to give us an estimate.
We got a few other estimates, but the reason we actually chose Cesar was because of his follow through and his flexibility. Cesar and his crew came out the following Sunday morning to remove 2 of our trees (the job was actually pretty big). They worked all day Sunday and Monday to get the job done at our request. They were great. They exceeded all of our expectations, they were friendly and professional.
We are very happy with their work! We will definitely recommend Cesar and Solano Tree Service to family, friends and neighbors in the future.

Solano Tree Service has done my fire regulation service and garden for the last 7 years. I wouldn’t use or trust anyone else.
When you live in the hills like I do, you get multiple offers for tree trimming, landscaping, etc. It’s a lot of trial and error. *I consider myself really lucky that I found Solano’s.* They are extremely hardworking and thorough. From the first day they came, they were fast, efficient, and affordable. Usually it’s 2 people that come and, I don’t know how, but they finish in a matter of hours, and that includes clearing the roof and gutters.
I have used them for tree trimming, clearing, roof and gutter clearing. Initially, they came and cut down some dying trees and hauled them away. One day, they tacked up a little screen on a high eave of the house to prevent pigeons from nesting there. They provide a lot more services, too, including planting. They are happy to discuss affordable rates with you. And believe me they will make a great deal for you. Just ask Cesar!
Cesar is probably the one you will talk to and he really listens to your needs and wants to make sure the job is done well. I have never been disappointed. I’ve recently just hired them to come monthly to do various tasks in my garden. I will use this company for as long as I own this house and then even recommend them to the new owners. THEY ARE GREAT.

What can I say. I have a 16,000 sf property with tons of palms trees and foliage, and it used to cost me a fortune to have a tree company manicure my expensive trees. My gardener recommended that I give Solano tree service for our annual tree service. Cesar arrived at my house and gave me the BEST price for what I needed (and I had a lot of companies give me a bid). My husband is crazy about how he wants the trees to be trimmed, and Cesar did the job perfectly. Cesar and his crew worked quickly and did an amazing job picking up all the debris from the floor (including the palm tree seeds that fell during the removal). Cesar knows his stuff, and we hire him every year to prune, maintain, and clean our 100+ different palms, giant birds of paradise, canary palms, fig trees etc). I would recommend his service because of the price and the quality of his work. By the way, he did our annual clean-​up service this past month, and he came on his day off (Sunday) to go over what we needed– That’s what I call customer service!!! I have used Solano Tree Service for 20 years. They are the only tree service I trust with my trees of which I have many. Cesar understands the art of pruning trees and. my trees always look sculpted, never butchered. Their prices are reasonable. They are courteous and trustworthy. I highly recommend them and have to my neighbors who now use them as well.
