I’m only giving 2 stars because the spa chairs were great other than that, I really have trouble finding a great pedicure lady since my last favorite place shut down. I was still disappointed in this place. The lady they I got cut my toe nails way too short, barely removed my callus and was horrible at painting my toes. The worse thing about it all was the I saw a cockroach and I told her where it was and she laughed saying that she’ll kill it later I would never go back to a place that has roaches.

HORRIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST! I went in because I saw the «good» reviews and was close by to home oh didn’t want to go to my usual place. They were nice but their work was horrendous and so disappointed, there goes my $ 25 down the drain. They did my pedicure once with a 2 color fade, and was ugly, did it again and was twice as bad hahaha omg once I got home I was missing a diamond and half of polish was smeared and gone! I’m not sure if once they added the clear coat it messed everything up because I was so careful getting home… First and last time there!!!

Best nail spot in El Monte, I have been here twice now and always love the results and excellent service, and friendly. Have tried so man different nails spots and this one is my favorite.

This is my go to place for nails and eyebrows. Been coming here for years now. I love it! Friendly staff, lots of colors in both regular Polish and gel colors. Nice comfy spa chairs for pedis. And a plus is that they are open Sunday’s!

I came here on a Wednesday afternoon to get a gel manicure. I lived nearby so I decided to give it a try. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by everyone and Vivian came over to assist me. She was such a sweet and nice lady. She started off with a hand massage that was not painful at all. Then she proceeded with the manicure procedure. As she was working on my nails we were able to share a lot of stories about our families and our life. The gel nail polish were extremely good quality. I had mine last for 3 weeks THEN it started to peel off. There were no chips and it wasn’t peeling off within a week like other places. I recommend coming to this place and I recommend Vivian.

First time here and I had KIM. She was amazing! Her personality was warm and welcoming. She did my nails exactly how I wanted them. Request her ahead of time and make reservations because she’s always busy!
Additional Parking in the back if there’s none in the front.
Prices are excellent $ and worth the small wait.

I’m usually very picky about who touches my nails simply because I am very sensitive about them. I was in a rush but needed a gel manicure so bad so I stopped by on my way home. Priscilla did a beautiful job on my nails and made sure there were no chips or cracks on them before leaving. I would definitely come back to have my nails done here because of her customer service. Thank you Priscilla :)

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! The nails only last me 24 hours sucks!!! Not only it was cheap price but they also took 2 hours to get to me and this is what I get now I know to go elsewhere because of the area there’s also A LOT of girls that go there that are really really dirty and they don’t even disinfect the tools they use on other peoples fingernails I mean what kind of place is this it says a lot about the area BEWARE YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Best place to get your nails done in El Monte! I’ve been coming here for the past 3 yrs. Friendly staff and i always leave satisfied.

We were waiting for our car to be ready at Longo, so we came here. They took us right away and gave us great mani pedis! The staff was very nice and accommodating :-)

Went in got a full set with gel matte in a almond shape. I like them a lot but to me it’s more of a stiletto shape and a little longer than I wanted but I still like them a lot. Done by Rachel

Writing my review as I sit here waiting for my pedi to dry, I am in love with my new mani and pedi! I got a gel manicure (lots of colors to choose from) and spa pedicure for $ 32 dollars! The ladies were very thorough and nice. I walked in here as soon as they opened and I was the first one, to my surprise they were done in 40 mins! I will definitely make the drive to come back here.

I took a inspiration picture off of this exact Unilocal page, showed it to 3 nail techs as I was waiting to be worked on, all 3 said Yes we can do it (which wasn’t surprising as the picture I showed was something that had been done at this exact place) BUT to my surprise NO ONE could do it. I had already paid for the design and obviously wasn’t getting my money back because I used a debit card. So I was pressured into getting a French tip, which would’ve been fine IF the job had been done correctly. It was a botched job for sure. A Quincenera nightmare! I was there for over 2.5 hours just for a manicure and full set. By the end I just wanted to leave, regardless of how they looked. The very next day I went to my regular spot on Puente to have a paint change. This could have been an isolated incident, but I definitely will not be going back. Especially since one nail has already popped off. Ridiculous. You truly get what you pay for at this place. The staff is friendly but didn’t seem to care to solve the problem.

Definitely coming back! I was looking for a new place to get my nails done at so I hopped on Unilocal and began searching. I had already tried two other places in attempt to replace a nail salon that I used to go to for 3 – 4 years. NO LUCK… UNTIL… I found lucky nails. It was literally destined to be. I had my gel manicure done by Rachel. She was very nice, patient with me (I take a very long time to choose a color). Also what I absolutely loved about her was that I did not have to tell her to «get the edges» because she already had done that. I always have an issue finding someone for that reason haha. Only 18 dollars too! ;) just my budget. I’m actually extremely surprised that this had ANY bad review to begin with. I highly recommend this place!

This is MY EXPERIENCE the third time I went there. IF YOU HAVE INGROWN NAILS GO ELSEWHERE:
I liked this place until the last appointment, where the manicurist that did my pedi was trying to cut my ingrown nails. She had little to no experience and got my toes bleeding. They had no antibiotic ointment, and I went home with an infected toe. I have never had this happen, and I have gotten pedis all over san gabriel and san fernando valley. I had to put neosporin on it for two days, it was swollen and in so much pain that I started having trouble putting pressure on it. Luckily it went away on its own and healed. Won’t ever go back.

I was afraid to get my nails done because of all the horrifying experiences I’ve had! This was my first time getting my nails done in a while, and I loved it! They are so modern and they know all about the newest trends! THEY EVEN HAVE AN INSTAGRAM. They’re nothing like the old school nail salons that force you to get a French manicure! I was attended by KIM (which I highly recommend you request her) and she was the most attentive, kindest, and chatty person out of the whole salon! She’s amazing ! I came in here knowing not so much about the new «claws» trend and she recommended me a style and I loved it! We did the almond shaped and she used a beautiful nude and then a leopard pattern with beautiful colors, and she handled my nails with lots of care! I loved how friendly she was! She was actually talking to me and telling me about herself while doing my nails and it was amazing because time flew by so fast ! And I actually felt like I was treating myself bc I was enjoying myself so much! It wasn’t awkward at all like at other nail salons! and the price was very reasonable! I RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON 100%%%

I’m very satisfied with Lina’s work! I wear heals all day and have a problem with ingrowths and she is a pro grate paint job as well she takes her time with caring gentle hands when it comes to giving pedicures, over all I’m a happy camper 8:) Thank You Lina

In last Friday, I came here and I loved every minute I was in Lucky Nails! I went to this place for a Mani-​Pedi. Their price is so cheap ($ 20 for a mani-​pedi! Unbelievable!). The workers were very nice and efficient. One was chatting with me and made my experience more pleasurable. It was a very relaxing experience and well worth the price for the amount of time they spend on you. I don’t do this type of thing, so I had no point of reference for the pricing. They also have nail services for kid so in the next time I’ll bring my 5 year old daughter here. I hope my daughter doesn’t cry when they cut her nails LOL. Overall, I will definately be back!

They have great prices no wait and fast service I come for the eyebrows mostly but I checked out the selection of gel colors and the have a basket full of color samples to choose from this will be my new gel manicure salon

I love this place! I won’t go anywhere else. I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes, spa pedicures are only $ 12, and everyone is super friendly. Not in the greatest area but that’s fine by me.
June 2015 — Spa pedicures are now $ 14.

Came into Lucky nails at 7:15pm to get a fill and pedicure Kim and staff quickly set me up for my services even though closing time was 7:30. Tracy & Lina did an awesome job on my hands and feet. Everything was done just the way I like it thanks
