Worst fucking GameStop in the area. Long waiting lines, feels like you can get stabbed for your shit when you walk out. One cashier open and spent literally 40 minutes on one guy.

I’ve been coming to this store with my boys for a while now, the staff is super nice! Especially the bald guy with the glasses and tattoos(sorry didn’t get your name) my kids absolutely love him! He is very helpful and always gives them good advice on what games to get … Sad to hear he transferred, but we might just go visit him! …

I would rate it lower if I could but I can’t. They ripped me off for over $ 130 dollars because they screwed up and didn’t hand me a recipe then the game and system messed up and they wouldn’t do anything about it. …even the manager said they couldn’t do anything about it. NEVERGOINGBACK.

My brother forced me to come back. Was helped by an someone that actually seemed willing to help. He helped me to decide to play Starcraft for the first time. It was exactly the kind of game I was looking for. I wish some of the other employees would do what any other customer service job requires: assist the customers. Stop doing whatever endless task you have behind the counter and get out on the floor and sell your product. The game is awesome! Thanks and sorry I forgot to do your receipt survey :(

This place is great! I come here all the time whether I have a question or just happen to be walking by. These workers are super awesome. They know me and joke around making it fun. I feel quite welcomed. All workers are very informative and are knowledgeable which makes it easy on me whether I should buy a certain game or not. Idk overall I think this store deserves more than what is shown on here.

This specific GameStop has been one of my favorites. Although the location isn’t ideal, it is made up for by the awesome staff. I’ve visited many GameStop locations including Foothill in Pasedena, Main in Alhambra, Huntington(Santa Anita mall) and many more, and it seemed as though the nice neighborhoods were their only perks. For example, a midnight release was held for Resident Evil 6 in Arcadia at which I had attended. They had me sit outside of the store for an hour, and called each individual in separately to retrieve their copy of the game. They didn’t let me bring anything into the store besides my receipt. However, I have attended two midnight releases at the store in El Monte, and not only did they let me and the rest of the guests in early, they let us participate in a StreetFighterxTekken tournament against each other. Here’s another example: Once while visiting the location in Pasedena, I had asked to have one of the old mass effect pre order promotional posters(the game had already been released) and their response was«No. We pay for that to be up.» Once more, I took the same question to the location in El Monte. This was for Resident evil(Not a pre order poster) and their response was«we actually pay for that to be up, but if you’d like, you can put your name and number on the back, and we’ll call you when we take it down!» He then gave me a pen and added«the borderlands 2 poster is also coming down soon, would you like that one also?» I was amazed by this display of hospitality. I left the store that day with my name on a few posters, and a huge resident evil display box. For a credibility, check the store out for yourself, and flip the power up rewards Resident Evil poster over to see the name«Brandon Quintana”(my name) on the back of the poster. Or ask for a poster yourself!

This small store is the closest gamestop to where I live – lucky me, right? I hardly play games anymore, and much less buy them… but when I was an avid gaming enthusiast I would get treated a lot better by my local Game Stop. First they would look at the disc for pre-owned games, and make sure they sent you home with the VERYBEST disc they had. They would do the same for the case, and even include a booklet if available. I went through the painstaking effort of finding a flawless case with booklet, and turned it in. At that time my phone blew up with a few texts and emails, so I looked down quickly to check them out while the cashier did his thing. It was in that moment that they swapped out my case for a broken one without a book, and gave me an extremely crummy game disc. The only reasons why I am not giving this place 1 star are: 1. The cashier guy was knowledgeable on games, and gave me lots of good info 2. They were willing to swap it out for me, but I never had time to go back. I am a very busy guy, and I need things done right the first time…

I’ve never written a review before, good or bad, but due to the pathetic excuse for customer service here I felt obligated to. As a Pro card member I expected at least some willingness to help me with a simple request. I tried transferring a preorder from another store to this one, but I told them I would only do it if I kept my preorder bonus. They went ahead and cancelled my preorder so I assumed I was keeping my bonus. I was wrong and after I asked why all they could say is «I don’t know what to tell you.» What the hell is that? Great, thanks for screwing me over just so you can get a sale.

Cool people there, usually filled with kids. The gamestop is very big for some reason, but that’s not a bad thing
