Got the tamales here… Just don’t even bother coming here. It was small, dry, and it tasted old!

I come here often for their bolillos, tortas, pan dulce, champurrado and avena. Food is fresh. Service is great. There was a time when their tortas was hit or miss but they have been consistently good for the past 5 months at least.

Corita Bakery is a Mom-and-pop Mexican bakery shop, they don’t just sell your normal mexican and western bakery, but also tortas ! I only try their cheese cake which was amazing value for only $ 1. Texture is about right, not too sweet, the amount of cheese in there is right. Seriously if you love bakery or tortas which just about anyone, gave this place a try, such low price what good amount of food and most important it tastes good !!! I will try their torta next time, was like under 5 bucks, that is one heck of value too. This is the type of business need local support the most ! Tips: No seat inside, is take out only. Cash Only

Great, neighborhood bakery that’s been around forever. Sandwiches are so good with their homemade bolillos and inexpensive at $ 3.50 or $ 4. Tamales are filling and only $ 1.25 each.

Ran in here cause it was the closest bakery to me and I needed a cake fast. It was around noon on a Sunday and they were our of cakes and tamales!!! Guess it’s cause they open at 4:00am The guy at the counter was able to tell where another bakery was in the area that had ready made cakes. Save the hassel of having to look it up. Appreciate the service. Will definately be back to try their other baked goods.

This place is the best… The bread is fresh and soft… We buy them when we make homemade steak sandwiches huge roll’s are 25 cent a piece, are baked fresh daily and the best in the city!!! I have been going here for 23 years… they also sell, FRESHBAKED sweet bread, home made TAMALE’S,((green chili and cheese, beef, and pork… the sweet one’s too…)) AND have a great variety of other cakes and bread’s… Birthday cakes, flan, and a favorite of my boy’s…a soft chewey bread filled with cream cheese, jalipino and ham… for(($ 1.25)) F.Y.I~ You should get the steak roll bread((roll’s for sandwich’s)) by 3 pm… they are so popular the bread run’s out… and when it’s gone for the day… it’s GONE!!!((they now make the roll’s in wheat too!))
