Complete rip off. I brought my infected laptop to the store and they charged me $ 80 just to download FREE online anti-​virus programs. They told me it’s expensive because of the cost of their «official» antivirus program. DO NOT get scammed! If your computer gets infected, you can simply do the same thing at home.

I give them 5 stars. great customer service and didn’t let me leave the store until he made sure everything was up and working before I left, I will totally recommend them. Great quality and great prices.

refused to fix my laptop, but offered me a price that I had to refuse. I told them what the problem was and they still charged me 20 $, just to tell me the same thing I told them. On top of that they switched out my hard drive. All their reviews are from workers, family, and friends. Avoid.
Edit: Not only did they switched out my hard drive they gave me a defective charger and a bad battery
Edit: I received my hard drive back, my battery, and charger. I am still surprise on how they can misplace a hard drive.

I had a laptop that had a broken screen. I called several places to get it repaired, but all told me it would take at least one week. The computer guru promised me they would have it to me in two days. Not only did he have it ready in two day, but I was running late on Saturday to pick it up. I called and told them I was running late and he waited 15 minutes for me. I was very pleased with the service I received by this computer shop that I will be bringing in my two other CPU’s for repair. A+++ work.

Showed up to this shop ready to get my computer fix after reading reviews, was expecting the friendly service as others had experienced. Turned out to be completely the opposite. Sour old Asian man came to the door with a bad attitude and said I’m getting ready to close. It was still 30 minutes left according to their schedule hours. I asked him, «would you like me to go somewhere else?» He said yes and showed me the door. I was in shock, here is a business owner or worker who is more concerned about closing his shop 30 minutes earlier than making his clientele happy and live up to the standards of his reviews and normal business practices. This business gives small businesses a bad name. This guy should not be in business. Whatever you do, don’t use this shop, they are rude, unprofessional and UN-​caring about what immage they present to the customer. If you do I don’t feel sorry for you.

Computer guru is the best. I’ve been to way too many computer repair services where they over charge for simple stuff like reinstalling windows but computer guru helps you understand the main problems. Theyll tell you exactly how theyll fix it. They have the best deals and awesome customer service.

I have been having some problems with my laptop and desktop. Their service was awesome, came to my door and picked my lap top and the hard drive for my desk top. There prices are very reasonable and I would definitely use them again and recommend them!!!

Per David Hon’s (owner of Computer Guru) begging plead to me by emailing to Unilocal after he read my 1-​star review at Unilocal’s; he made an offer of $ 200 towards my service to call back due to his employee’s outrageous conduct towards me and said, «You called the wrong number.’ On 10÷8÷2012, I made the call to Computer Guru at the same number of (626) 450‑0606 that I called on 9÷29÷2012. A man answered the phone, but did not announce the business’ name or to greet me like the previous violent employee acted on 9÷29÷2012. I asked if he is David Hon, he said, «Yes, I am one of the owners.» Shockingly, he told me, «I not email you, not know Unilocal.No $ 200 offer to you» and he was very rude, hateful, provoking, slamming his phone to disconnect my call. I was cheated, humiliated and wasted time to give this man a second chance to earn my business, but he deliberately took advantage of me. If anyone says it is a «friendly» store, a red flag, that writer is suspicious and may not be a customer!
I firmly stand by my original 1-​star rating of Computer Guru. If I could give «0» to this despicable outfit, I would. Not only that its employees bullied me on 9÷29÷2012, its owner is also a bully. I have now cheated and bullied twice by its employees and then by its owner. Despite of how much he would offer to lure me again, I would never fall into his trap to allow him bully me and show no respect to customers. I have an expensive computer for repair. It could be worse to experience what would he do to my expensive computer! I cannot trust this place. It is not worth my time to deal with the deceptive and unreliable business practices of Computer Guru and its owner (s). I strongly not recommend this place to anyone!

this shop is pretty legit, they will fix your computer rite the first time and call you in one or two days to come pick it up. the only bad thing I can say is that he can be a little pricey but his work it A+

I’m quite content that I found this shop. Even though it’s not a huge warehouse like Fry’s, but it’s not a hole-​in-​the-​wall place either. Relatively small and cluttered, but I got great service when looking for a good deal on a desktop computer. The one they sold me works flawlessly, and all the parts they sell are decently priced.
This place is definitely a good alternative to Fry’s or buying online if you are in the neighborhood. Reliable and friendly.
