Sundance Motors

We purchased an RV in April 2015, Still don’t have title as of 10/​19/​2015. It seems They never had title. May have to sue. Non-​responsive to phone calls. Don’t trust them, my opinion.

I didn’t purchase anything from Sundance Motors so I suppose I have a different perspective on this business who twice helped me out a jam quickly and without any incidents. Dan helped me move my trailer, first with his vast knowledge, and second with his safe driving. I never encountered any rude employees, no raging dog, nor unsafe or dishonest business practices so Sundance Motors is awesome by my standards. Take it with a grain of salt if you choose, but I rarely write positive reviews.

Avoid this business at all costs. Negative stars if possible. The business is in default to their floor plan company and was unable to issue the title to the vehicle I purchased eight months ago.
Business is astonishingly dishonest, saddled with debt, and grossly incompetent. It is the least professional business (no exaggeration) I have come across in my lifetime. I will be surprised if they are not shut down in ongoing DMV investigation, which would mercifully prevent people from falling into this situation.
I purchased a vehicle at Sundance in January, assured I would receive registration within 90 days. Five months later, nothing. Calling DMV I find they did not finish all paperwork to transfer the title. Numerous calls to James at Sundance and he told me the title had been «misplaced» and to hold tight, he has a «DMV Girl» working to resolve it. Two months go by where I occasionally get him on the phone — always when I called, never because they returned a phone call. Always «working on it.» Finally, told resolution is imminent in next week. That day comes, no call, no resolution, unable to connect by phone. I drove 2.5 hours to meet James face to face, and he finally admitted the issue with the floor plan company after I asked why he couldn’t just apply for replacement title. Dealer refused to provide contact information for the floor plan company.
To finally gain access to my title I needed to file a DMV complaint, contact the DMV investigator, and then the floor plan company. Finally I needed to submit a signed, notarized statement that I had truly purchased the car. This took days of work to complete on my part, and we thought we might not be able to keep our car. In addition, I needed to extend the registration temporarily with an additional trip to the DMV while resolving the issue.
Long story short — avoid Sundance Motors!

Do not buy from this business. Worse decision you will ever make. Very unproffesional group of individuals. One of the owners James makes nothing but empty promises. I bought a trailer from him earlier this year January to be exact. Registration and tags expired in June. The tags were suppose to be paid as part of the deal. Have been trying to get this issue resolved since june. With a whole bunch of lies from them regarding call backs and the issue being resolved and their dmv personal not showing up and blah blah blah. Please save yourself my headache. I am now dealing with the better business bureau and dmv directly. Do not deal with this business.

Went there recently after my grandmother bought a car for my cousin. Seemed like a good vehicle for a reasonable price. Since then she’s had nothing but problems trying to get her paperwork in order. They tell her they don’t have time, even after she’s made several appointments. That was her experience, this is mine. I went there with my husband to see about a truck I liked. James the owner is a sloppy gross looking man, who lied to my face about five times. I’m a smart women with a mechanic for a dad and husband. The truck had clearly had engine work done to it and when asked about it he said no, or if it did he didn’t know. That was a fair answer, sure, but all the other things we mentioned he just stared at us like a deer in headlights. Their office is a pigsty, the bathroom disgusting, and the overall experience was a waste of my time. They also have a «F» with BBB, I would never give these guys my business. Ever.

Well, they’re very generous in their opinions of their vehicles. I won’t go into great detail, but one that had an «Excellent interior» was missing the radio and back seat. The pitbull that runs out growling is also just great. Drove off without talking to anyone — the dog scared us back into our car and no one ever came out of any building.

About 2 months ago I bought a used 22 ft 5^th wheel trailer from these people. They knew I was going to live in it. It wasn’t for camping. Shelly the lady in the office told me that Dan would haul it for me and set it up. It has been a nightmare. The sewer was set up wrong. It leaked all over. I still have no hot water because the hot water heater doesn’t work. There was a soft spot in the bathroom area Tha t has gotten worse. The deal was that Dan was going to fix these things for me. With me paying him. I have called and talked to Shelly, Dan and I believe James numerous times. Now they won’t even answer my calls. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to these people. They sold me something that they knew I was going to live in when it was absolutely unlivable. It still is. It’s a struggle every day. I hope they have trouble sleeping at night. Unilocal made me give them 1 star to post this. They deserve 0 stars.

We purchased a car in October 2014. We were given a 30 day warranty. Immediately we had transmission issues. James was not willing to pay for the repairs. We paid over one thousand dollars to get the vehicle repaired. We have now been waiting since October for our registration and the pink slip. We can no longer drive the vehicle since the tags expired 1÷26÷15. This car was purchased for my teenage girls to drive. After repeated calls to James Curry, we still have NO registration. ITS NOT IN THE MAIL JAMES!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS!!! THEY ARE EXTREMELY DISHONEST!!!

Tweakers, Liars, and just total disrespect for the customer. I saw an ad for a 16′ toy hauler. It looked gorgeous. I called three days in a row. First day they were jumping for joy, Fish On! Next, I called about the weight. I’m sorry, it’s sold. Next day, I see it reposted, I call, Fish On! again. Guy was checking the weight and to callback in 15. Never got through. Day 3, Fish On! This time they would call me back. I just drove 90miles + round trip to find it tore up from the floor up. What a joke.

Owned n operated by unfriendly ppl. Unlicensed mechanic who has judgements against him in small claims. working on cars. Buyer beware and do your research is all I suggest

We went back this time and they had the perfect trailer for us again, there were a couple of things that needed to be fixed and they did it just as promised, we were in and out of there within a hour, taking home our trailer ! You are Awesome James and you too Butch !! Thank you !
