We specialize in Fresh, homemade Breakfasts featuring a huge variety of your favorite items from Omelets and Benedicts to Waffles and Breakfast Burritos. Enjoy our hand crafted specialty coffees or our Orange juice that is squeezed fresh daily that make our Mimosas unforgettable! Our Lunch and Dinner menu features some of the best Burgers, and Salads in California. We pride ourselves on utilizing local suppliers, from our custom roasted coffee to many local wines. History

Established in 2011.

Early Toast started with Breakfast and quickly became the Mimosa House exspanding the Breakfast Menu, and adding a lunch and dinner menu. Total Mimosa on the menu today is 35.

Born and raised in Sacramento, Lou Dedier understands better than anyone how strong the Sacramento community is. Lou along with his family strive to bring the community together through there joy of great service and good food. Lou Dedier has been a Business Entrepreneur every since he was a child operating several companies. He started working in the food industry at an early age, and loved it. It was always his dream to one day own a Restaurant. That dream became a reality with Early Toast The Mimosa House. He plans to expand his concept with the help and love of his family. With new mimosas, specials and new locations on the way, he leaves his customers anticipating what’s next.

We’ve eaten there several times and the breakfast has always been competent, but today I decided to break away from the usual bacon and eggs and sausage and try their plain waffle. That was a big mistake, because we are used to a much higher standard. We usually go to the waffle Barn in Folsom where it is always an amazing treat, but here at Early Toast the waffle was dense, chewy and I lost interest in it after about one-​quarter of it. Avoid at all costs, it appears that they do not yet know how to make plain waffles at Early Toast. The service was good and cheerful as always.

My girlfriend & I dropped in for a little breakfast and to check out the mimosa list. The choices are things I would have never really thought of & I am glad someone else did! Next time I will try a bloody mary, and maybe a lunch item.
My only complaint would be the generic feel of the food we had. DON’T get the hash browns — they seemed like a pre-​packaged/​frozen item from Ore-​Ida. The house potatoes are the way to go. I had the veggie omelet with ham (I know — shut up) and the ham was processed/​spam looking, no flavor. I was hoping for a little carnitas or spicy, other than jalapenos and chorizo. The salsa is good, not spicy — we had to use some hot sauce as a assist. All the veggies seemed fresh, so maybe I will stay away from their breakfast meat next time.
It is a 30+ minute drive, but still worth another shot (or 2) to try more and hopefully get them to a 5 star.
One idea for busier mornings when you have a longer wait would be a walk up bar to get a mimosa while we wait. I did like that dogs are allowed in the patio area!

I returned to Early Toast after my last visit and was happy that the owner took action. This time I brought someone who also enjoys the restaurant as my brother refused to join. We were greeted by a somewhat smug host, but the experience that followed after was quite pleasant. The owner reached out to me after my last experience and was apologetic and sincere. Our meal was delicious and the service was great!

The wait was long given that it was Mother’s Day, however, the food took longer than expected after our order was placed. Apparently, their POS was down. Devin, the manager, kept a positive attitude and did what he can to remedy the situation. Overall, the food is decent and service is friendly. We’ll definitely give it another try when it’s not a holiday.

We’ve eaten at ET quite a bit, and always had a great experience until Mother’s Day.
The day before, I got a call for my husband to confirm the reservation. I said, «I can do that». When we arrived today, they couldn’t find our reservation and the host denied that it was confirmed. He was the one who called. They kept calling people ahead of us, and didn’t even offer to fix the problem. We left
I think we will try the Hop House next time we go out for Sunday brunch

Oh my gosh, I will be returning that’s for sure!
Only think I would say to work on is smiling more being a little more upbeat. Workers were still very friendly did a good job checking up on us making sure we didn’t need anything. Food was amazing great selection of food.
Great music choices for everyone. I’m a huge fan of places who place music that everyone can enjoy.

Our family loves to eat breakfast at Early Toast in EDH. Not only is the food amazing, the staff is welcoming and friendly. I would recommend the Crab Eggs Benedict — soooo yummy!!! Nicole was helping us today as well as Alexis. They made sure our coffee was always filled to the brim and our food was cooked perfectly!!! A family owned business that treats their customers like family as well!!! Thank you Early Toast for coming to El Dorado Hills!!!

Came in after dinner from sushi, on carnival night (March 19), for a cappuccino. Barista did excellent job. Cappuccino was great too!
However, front door should NOT be facing the kitchen. In fact, nobody should be seeing the kitchen floor or trash when you come in. Even to order a coffee to go.
The front should always be right off the sidewalk. The host/​hostess should be capable of getting an order in like ours. Coffee bar is a highlight to breakfast foods so highlight that area!!! Big selling point to the food and atmosphere should be the exceptional coffee bar. Have one.
Cappuccino flavor gets a 4 star, su chef or owner guy very nice and he gets s 4 star. Same to barista. But because of the view of the food scrapers and trash and floor of the open kitchen view upon entering — that was a 1 star…
Changes would definitely bring this restaurant up to 5 star status, to include staffers who know your menu inside and out. Perhaps offering them all tastes could help with this as well

Even though the place was nowhere close to capacity, it felt crowded, with too many tables. There is no on site bathroom. They share a public restroom and it was not very well-​maintained, not to mention very cold!
Our server was efficient and cordial. She gave me a great recommendation on the numerous Benedict selections.
The crab cake eggs Benedict is superb. My husband’s biscuit and gravy was good, but the sausage patty he ordered on the side was exceptional — perfectly seasoned with crisp edges. The coffee was terrible, but that may have been an aberration. Next time, I’ll get a mimosa instead!

The price and taste factor are just amazing! The toast are a hit and the house potatoes. I definitely will be coming back to Early Toast and I will for sure recommend to others! Must try this restaurant. The mimosa selection is just huge, if I could I would sample all of them in one sitting. But the mimosas, great food, and service will keep having us come back.

Given that I’m staying just down the street, I decided to give this place a shot, despite the poor reviews about service and food, given that there were a few really good reviews sprinkled in. Overall, I didn’t experience what others mentioned re: poor service. The person who seated me, as well as my server, were very friendly. The food, however, was mediocre. The hash browns were served in a flavorless, unseasoned brick, with the very outside layer crisp and crunchy — slighly overcooked — and the middle nothing but mush. My steak, mushroom and onion omelette was ok, but the steak quality was poor — essentially the Steak-​umm meat from the freezer section at the grocery store. The orange juice had a bizarrely unappealing flavor that I couldn’t put my finger on.
Overall, ambience was ok (besides the large cobwebs hanging from the ceiling), the service was good, but the food left something to be desired. I probably won’t be back.

Im a breakfast type of guy. And Ive tried my best to like this place on a few occasions. But Its been a disappointment every time.
The service is lackluster and kinda not caring. Im imagining they see these posts and would go all out to turn their reputation around.
The food is weak. The hash browns are always oily, the french toast is bland and the coffee sucks. And to top it all off… Its friggen wayyyy over priced.

I came here with my family of 5 on a Sunday morning. As busy as they were, we were able to snag a booth upon arrival. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Maine omelette that includes shrimp, crab meat, jack cheese, topped with Hollandaise sauce and slices of avocado. Now this is my kind of omelette! Seafood, eggs, hollandaise, and jack cheese hits the spot. The rest of the menu is fun from cuisines in Cali, to Texas, to the east coast. The variety seems like it would satisfy any set of taste buds.
My omelette was super good. The hollandaise sauce was perfectly thick and buttery and paired well with my Maine omelette. The only thing I would prefer is if they used a tad less crab and a little more shrimp. I counted about 4 – 5 small shrimps in my omelette. The breakfast potatoes that came with it were seasoned well. I tried my sister’s chicken fried steak and thought it tasted great, too. I’m looking forward to coming here again to try out other menu items.

Woaaaw! I’m shocked to see this place is only rated 4-​stars!
I came here for brunch with some family after a relaxing morning at the spa around the corner. :) I ordered their crab eggs benedict and it was delish! There were two large egg benedicts layered with spinach and avocados bedded on top of a warm crab cake. This entrée also came with a side of roasted potatoes, which tasted mediocre. Ok, yes I have to admit that I found a small strand of hair in my food (it’s happens!) but other than that I had no complaints. One of the better breakfast joints in town. Luckily we had made reservations prior to coming in because there was a long wait!
Definitely would recommend this restaurant for others to try! Located in the Regal Cinema plaza right off Latrobe & highway 50! :)
