Definitely love it here! Tania has done my hair twice and I’ve been happy that’s why I keep coming back. Hair color and trim was affordable so happy about that too.

Got my hair done today with Anna. I have thick and wavy hair and stylists typically don’t know how to work with it. Anna on the other hand did an amazing job! My hair feels so much lighter while still being long. It was exactly what I wanted. The only thing that would have made this experience 5 stars would be a scalp and shoulder massage. Can’t wait for my next visit with Anna!

As I was looking for a good stylist to do my balayage/​ombré, my friend highly recommended Nicole from this salon! I looked up her instagram (@hairbynicole963) and I just absolutely loved what I saw! I texted her and she was able to fit me into her last time frame within the week! She seemed very sweet and was willing to help since this was my first time doing a major hair dye project.
Nicole was early/​on time to the appointment and was very welcoming. I showed her some pictures of how I may want my ombré and or balayage and she recommended various styles that would fit my hair type and color. She was very honest and you can definitely tell that she wants you to look good and is not out for your money! ((Which is honestly a first for me!!)) She really listens to what you would like and really help you decide what would be best and she even explains why!
She talked me through all the steps that she was doing since she knew it was my first time dying my hair, which was very helpful!!! She’s a fun and easy goin’ gal to talk to which made the 3 hour hair appointment seem like less than an hour! Haha!
Toward the end she took the time to do touch ups to my color even though it may be minuscule to some, she is definitely a perfectionist! You can definitely tell she wants you walking out flawless. Earlier in the appointment I mentioned how I have trouble creating volume in my hair and towards the end of my appointment, while she was styling my hair, she took the time to show me how to tease my hair and create volume in it!!!
Now it’s time for the price! I had pretttyyyy long hair and with the shampoo, cut, style, and balayage it was only 173 dollars! I will definitely be coming back!!!

well after reading review on here I made an appointment for a cut, love my hair cut and the place with clean and very cute. Not much parking by salon but there are close shopping center to use. Prices was reasonable!

My review is about 4 months late but better late than never right?! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that I had to park in the 24 hour parking lot because there was no parking near the salon since its on the Main Street.
But as far as service I had a great experience! I was told by a friend to go see Nicole. Who btw is so sweet and listens to exactly what it is you have in mind about how you want your hair to look. Let me say that I am so picky when it comes to having someone touch my head.
I’ve gone to soooo many place where the stylist does not care about what you want or what will look good on you. All they care about is getting your money and sending you on your way. Anyway Nicole is great. She listens to what you want done. I told her I wanted to go lighter but my hair was already so dark and she totally was not going to just bleach and kill my hair to get it to the color I wanted. Which I really appreciated because other stylists Would’ve just done it and ld be looking cray 2 months later.
Long story short, Nicole has your best interest at heart. She’s going to help you get the perfect look and isn’t out for your money. She’s super down to earth and is pretty awesome in my book. I’ll def be seeing her again for a cut and touch up.

My color came out awesome, my haircut is really chick an cute an lets talk about my hair beeing wash. Really great experience, I got it washed twice, a scalp massage and every product put on my hair smelled delicious.
They also sell the products they use at the salon so that delicious smell will come with me home.
Thank you Yenia for making my hair happen.

I was referred to Visual Dreams Salon by my sister who knows the lovely owner Yenia.
I was in search of a new hair stylist and after browsing through their Facebook page I made an appointment with Jessica to do some funky colored highlights and a blow dry. Jessica really knows her stuff when it comes to funky colors and she’s not afraid to go bold, if that’s your thing! (It’s totally mine!) Jessica is very attentive to you and your hair… she listens to your wants and likes and then gives advice and works accordingly. I have thick, curly/​frizzy hair but when she’s done with it, it’s smooth, soft and shiny!
Jessica’s personality is very welcoming, she’s sweet & friendly & super funny to chat with. She cracks me up! :) She’s amazing at what she does, I love her work and her prices are more than fair.
The salon itself is a very spacious, cute & modern design. They carry hair care products, they have an esthetician as well as a waxing specialist. (I haven’t tried them yet) Everyone there is very friendly and the vibe is upbeat and positive.
I would suggest checking out the Visual Dreams FB page to check out the stylists and what they each have to offer. I def recommend Jessica though, I’ve never been disappointed! :)

I love Visual Dreams! It has to be the cutest, friendliest salon in all of East County, heck all of San Diego! I have been getting my hair done by Yenia for a couple of years now and have never had a bad experience! She does an amazing job and I constantly get asked everywhere, «Where do you color your hair?» Kristina is another great stylist with super skills when it comes to make-​up and up-do’s! Prices are very reasonable and they make you feel very comfortable.
I go in there to get my hair done but also get along with it a great girl session! Love Visual Dreams, you can catch me there every 6 weeks! =D

Mallori da Rosa is AWESOME!!!
She has been cutting and coloring my hair for the past 2 years. She has the best eye when it comes to a new vision for your locks. I’m the most indecisive person when it comes to my hair, but Mallori always knows how to figure out exactly what I’m looking for. I think once you make that appointment with her you’ll be locking in forever with a stylist. I always get tons of compliments on my hair. Everyone NEEDS to get their hair done by Mallori!!!
*Highly recommend this place — everyone is really friendly and helpful once you step inside. A real fun and hip place to be.
