Dave and Susan Newman are truly ambassadors in the sport of fitness. Their jump ropes are head and shoulders above the rest of the industry. From their comfortable handles that allow you to endure through those long double under WOD’s like «Flight Simulator» to the vast training cable sizes that build your single, double, triple, quadruple (?) proficiency, you can’t go wrong with these jump ropes. It’s no wonder top athletes trust the RX Smart Gear name, just check out a few of their athletes who trust the brand. Josh Bridges, Neal Maddox, Annie Thorsdottir, Chyna Cho, Josh Everett, Rita Benavidez, the list goes on and on.

In and out within 10 minutes. I love that they even have an area where you can try different lengths to make sure they work for you. I bought a medium rope for now and a smaller diameter for when I am ready to graduate from the medium. High quality ropes and great customer service.

Decided to get a custom jump rope. The longest part was deciding which color lol. Took them less than 5 min to make. Great customer service too.

This place has great products, great staff and they are quick and efficient in getting you in and out with some quality jump ropes and workout gear.
I’m pretty serious when it comes to fitness. Well, except for recently because of the holidays. I’ve been slacking, which means I’ve been lazy… which must mean that I’m getting bored. So I need to change or add something.
Solution: Incorporate some ropes into my program.
I don’t know a whole lot about jump ropes but I heard that Rx Jump Ropes were supposed to be pretty awesome. Since I was running errands in the area anyway, there was no better time to check out Rx Smart Gear.
*note* You can order stuff off of their website but I wanted to check the place out first and see everything in person, get recommendations if necessary etc. I’m glad that I did.
Anyway, you can see all the cables in person and they have the same sizing chart you can see on the webpage. Someone is there to help you out and help you find the right cable (weight/​length) if necessary as well. Once you choose your handles, cable weight/​length/​color combo then they make it for you right there on the spot. I was in and out of there with my jump rope in roughly 5 minutes.
Another cool thing is they have a little tub of «clearance» handles which are pretty much just b-​stock, slightly worn, blemished, marked or some other cosmetic flaw for a significantly reduced price. Since they have no impact on functionality and I end up beating everything I own to death anyway, I went for some marked up grey handles and saved myself over $ 15. Winning!
They also sell some other gear (that you can see on their website) too but I didn’t pay too much attention to it all. I’m sure that I’ll be back once the cable wears out or I feel like upgrading to different weight.
Anyway, got myself a solid jump rope cheaper than expected to supplement all the other cardio, circuits and calisthenics that I do on a regular basis.
Oh yeah, their jump ropes are pretty awesome.

Great product + price and great customer service. No need to visit the location as they ship (reasonable cost sometimes free.) I like the fact that you buy this rope pre-​sized (see website) instead of having to adjust it like the BL Aero (I still like my Speed Rope!) Also cool that you can order a custom rope by creating your own look and cable weight. Replacement cables are cheap, so buy an extra if you are not sure on weight. Also, if you skip outside you will wear through the outer cover exposing the wire. Trust me, you will want to toss the cable out as soon as that happens. My last cable lasted about 10 months; I am jumping on a tennis court a couple times per week.

I purchased a rope from these guys about 2 months ago. I found out about this company because they came to my BOX and did a demo. Most of the guys I work out with also use RX. Since they are in my town, I went down there and spoke with them. They were very nice to have me come in and try the ropes. They also sized me up for the perfect size. I didnt purchase the rope right there but after a couple of days I decided to purchase online. They called me the same day and said it was ready for pick up.
After using my rope for a couple of WOD’s I thought my cable thickness was too thick and realized I purchased too heavy of a gauge. I went back down to RX to purchase an additional rope for my girlfriend and also brought my rope down to purchase a new, lighter cable. RX was super kind to replace my cable at no cost since I had only used the rope a couple of times. This was definitely unexpected and great customer service.
I will be a repeat customer and will recommend them to anyone that needs a rope.
