I always get very nervous about walking into a new store when I know I have a lot of questions. I almost feel like I’m bothering them. However, the moment I walked in they were nothing but helpful and kind. They immediately put me at ease and answered every single one of my questions. He walked me through the best hookah to get, how to set it up, and even recommended some really good tobacco. They made me feel like a valued customer even though it was my first time in there. It definitely will not be my last. And the store is totally huge.

Everyone here is so helpful, a true legit smokeshop. This isn’t some fly by night cheapo glass place. They have quality products and quality customer service to go with it. You can find anything you need for your smoking needs here. Great price range on the selection, they have primo and not so primo prices. They also have stuff everywhere in between! Glad I went here. This is my go to shop in greater San Diego now.

Holy moly! What a selection. I only came in for liquid for my Ecig, but I was very impressed by their selection and the organization.

Down here from Oregon on a road trip. Was blown away by the selection at United smoke shop. There are three allies with glass casing filled from top to bottom with glass. I ended up buying a trippy looking bubbler and a glass pouch called stashpak. Guy named alvy very knowledgeable hooked it up!

These guys are the best. They helped me find exactly what I needed, gave me an affordable price, and even taught me how to use it! From their own personal experience too. Then when I called later with more questions he was happy to talk to me and help me further. They are the best!

This is my favorite smoke shop in East County San Diego! They offer pretty much anything for your smoking needs and their prices are great too!

Im a glass blower and iv been in the industry for 12 years. Today I had a appointment with the owner of this shop I arrived 15 min before the time went in to be told that the owner was running late and would not be there for a cupple of hours and that I should go do something for a few hours and come back. I was a little annoyed becouse I had driven over a hour to cone see them but I sead ok. When I came back the manager told me the onwer sill was not there and was seemingly anoyed that I was even back there when he was the one how had told me to come back. Then he proceded to tell me thay where all good on seeing the rest of my glass and that they would check me out next timei was in town. When I voiced how it was messed up how thay had wasted over 4 hours of my time not to mention 100 $ in gas money and two hours of drive time. He theated to take me out back and crack my skull open and im not egsaderating he literally came at me and wanted to fight. Iv never been treated this badly by a smoke shop onwer or representative whall trying to do business. Rediculous
also im a high end glass lover and I had 2000 burning a hole in my pocket and intended to spend it at raw but after this experience I went somewhere else Get It On mission beach and bought a 1800 $ toro marble slinger snic elctroformed dab tube so good job shop mannager u miss out in some bucks so maybe dont be dicks to people. I do not recomend going to this shop ever unless u want to on be threatened.

My experience in this shop was the shortest and worst I’ve ever had in any smoke shop in my life. I walked in and saw there was a sign that read «for tobacco use only» above the pipes. I made a joke and said in Colorado they probably have a sign that reads «for marijuana use only». The store clerk over heard me and said I had to leave for saying marijuana in his store. Gotta be fn joking right. Lesson to be learned… These guys are hacks who have no respect for the industry they are in or the customers they serve. Not worth spending a single dollar in this shop. Never met a smoke shop employee so pretentious and arrogant in my life. Better off buying at literally any other smoke shop!!! I know I’m gonna find a new place to go buy a pipe right now!!!

Great customer service. Huge variety of what you want. New tech, and they do glass repair as well. Literally took a broken w.p. out of the trash, brought it to them and they fixed it good as new! Not all shops that do repairs were able to do this repair, but they did. I’ll be back for sure.

every time i come in to this place i leave broke as kcuf and happy i am because they have the goods i want :) the staff knows what there talking about in-​depth, they are also very present people to talk to. so i guess you can say i’m happy with this shop!

This place is very cool. I used to work in the same plaza and customers would tell me that Raw Smoke Shop was really rude and unfriendly but I walked in there, was greeted and helped immediately.
I bought a hookah from them and set up a tally thing for buy 9 get the 10^th free for shisha and I couldn’t be happier with their service so far.
When I bought my hookah from them (my first hookah albeit), I was on a budget and they were glad to recommend me to the hookah that’ll be a bang for my buck. Two months later I am still happy. I even had a slight problem with it and the employee helped me out through the phone.
Their prices are average, nothing extremely unreasonable. I can find products online for the same price, but I’d rather see my products physically before I purchase them.
I’ll keep coming back here for sure. Loyal customer to a cool business.

I have used Raw exclusively for 3 years now and never ever had a problem until today. I spent a few hundred dollars in there last week. I got a G Pen and the Micro G pen set. I live in north park and cannot always get to el Cajon to make a return. However I did go there today 3÷14÷2013 to return the micro –g because it didn’t work properly. By the way these products do not come with instructions, one unit held a charge but didn’t get hot and the other wouldn’t hold a charge. Now realize I never had a chance to use them but I did try. Apparently the elements that CAME WITH THE PENS didn’t work at no fault of my own. When I went to take it back I was pretty much told that I’m lying because on the button you press to heat the unit has lettering on it and it was smudged away abit. They would not exchange the unit! Instead they made me buy an atomizer for 20 dollars, that being the piece that wasn’t working. Again two of them came with the set up and neither worked. Instead of giving me the units to replace the ones that were broke, I had to spend 20 more dollars. The Two guys that were there today at 3pm, I had never seen before or care to again. But everyone else has always been exceptional sales people and very accommodating I will not be going back to Raw again unless I get my 20 back and another atomizer to replace the two that they sold me that were broke. I did find Visions smoke shop around the corner from Raw and will be going there instead. Visions is a bit more pricy but they have everything Raw carries and more! I’m sorry guys but I won’t be called a liar and then forced to buy a broken piece that should have been given to me. The guys who were working are not good for customer service! Even though it was never used I did fill it and tried to use it but couldn’t. That was made mention as well. As far as letters coming off button cheap paint comes off metal! Sorry to go but I need to feel justified and making another purchase to fix the first is not acceptable especially when you need two pieces and only had enough money on me for 1.. First time I went in and bought rolling papers, I only had my credit card on me. I had to buy $ 5 dollars worth of products to not get charged .75 cents charge for using my card (which is ridiculous since majority of people use their card, regardless of amount). When I bought Element rolling tips the first time they were $ 1.00, no more than 2 months ago.
I just went in, and now they’re $ 1.99! It costs $ 24 for a box of 50 which comes down to .46 cents per pack. To charge 3 times the amount does not justify business. Average price is .70 cents to $ 1.00.
Guys. Step up your game and go for volume. Don’t nickel and dime if you want to have returning customers.
Chances are, I won’t be going back.

So I bought a hookah from them and decided to take time to write a review. The guy there was awesome at explaining everything about the hookahs. I bought a hookah and they threw in free sheesh and coals I walked out the door spending half what i wanted to spend I will highly recommend them to all my friends.
