Paradise Landscaping & Maintenance

The owner, Angelo, of Paradise Landscaping was referred to us by our neighbor.
They provided their service 1x a month for nearly a year and a half until they just stopped showing up. 4,5,6,7 weeks went by, and our yard looks like a jungle. There has been no communication back to me as to why they weren’t coming. I finally get a text stating that his prices went up and our yard isn’t worth his time or energy. We agreed that he’d just come one more time for the $ 50 that we normally pay and to return our key so I can find a new gardener. He refused to do the work and returned the key.
I could go on and on but the jist is this… COMMUNICATE to your client and tell them that you don’t prefer doing their yard because it’s not worth your time or energy before you let the yard go 7 weeks. It’s very simple… pick up the phone and call your client and tell them that you will do their yard one last time and then they need to find another gardener. This is one simple step that would have prevented me from posting a Unilocal ad.
This company strongly lacked communication skills, professionalism, and respect. Calls were dodged and the preferable way of communication to them is text! All I ask is that if you didn’t want to continue to provide your service, just communicate that to me by giving me a phone call.
Not only did they not come after the 7 weeks, we had to hirer a new gardener and we had to pay a substantial clean-​up fee. I strongly do not recommend this business.
