Nina Alterations & Tailoring

I have used a few different places to get my clothes altered and Nina is by far the best person I’ve used. In high school I had my prom dress taken in as well as hemmed shorter so it wasn’t dragging on the floor and she did a fabulous job. Now whenever I need something altered I take it here. I’ve had dresses hemmed, pants hemmed, blouses fixed and I’ve never had any problem. I’ve probably had dozens of articles of clothing altered by Nina and I wouldn’t take my stuff anywhere else.
I’m really surprised at the other 2 reviews on here. I don’t think Nina would just randomly add a seam to a dress, so there must have been some communication issue. I trust Nina with any article of clothing to make it fit just the way I ask it to be.

I don’t know why someone wrote a negative review for this place, because I have been coming here for years with all of my alterations and I have never been dissatisfied. On the contrary, the work is professional, the cost reasonable, and I will take my alteration business nowhere else! Try it! You’ll see I’m right. Tina is honest, hard working, and talented.

I can’t speak to the other reviews other than to say that Tina has always done a fantastic job with all of my clothes I’ve had probably 50 articles of clothing altered over the years and I’ve always been please with the results.
Recently I had a jacket that the zipper broke on, I no longer live near Nina’s so instead I took my coat to a tailor near my work and when I picked it up the new zipper was installed crooked so the coat didn’t properly align when zipped. I decided to make the trek out to Nina’s to have it corrected and Tina did a FANTASTIC job.
Again I can’t possibly imagine why anyone would not be satisfied with Tina’s work all of my suits, pants, shirts, and coats I have taken there have always been perfect.

I have had a great experience here and a bad one. She hemmed the sleeves on my leather coat which had a cuff and a lining and it turned out amazing. Later I
took some Victoria Secrete sweat pants there that were way to long and wanted them hemmed… i tried them on while i was there and she hemmed them but one leg was longer that the other so i took them back and tried them on to show her and she agreed and fixed them so I thought… I went to wear them the next time and they were way to short… on one leg again and hemmed crooked on that leg so the inside is about an inch shorter on the inside of the leg… Needless to say that was $ 50.00 bucks out the window PLUS alterations… I will not be going back and I’m looking for a new place to go :-(

DO NOT take your wedding dress here. She put a seam right down the front of my dress. Tina is nice and got it done fast (about 10 days). All I wanted was hem raised and I got two new seams one of which is down the front. IM SO MAD!
