I stop to buy some food last night around 11.30pm there was a Lady who help us and she was so rude I wish the manger hire some one know how to treat customer in a nice way

Somebody there thought it would be funny to put onion or garlic onto the pancakes… I saw white stuff all over my pancakes and took a whif of the smell to end up throwing it away. What a waste of money and gas going here… management should really keep an eye out on their employees doing shit to the food.

CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE SUCKS! Especially from the big manager at night he talks as if he hates his job. If you don’t enjoy your job then leave ! His tone in taking orders are as if he’s just so damn miserable, and as I’m in the drive thru there’s a manager smoking a cigarette literally across the window, this place needs a whole new staff.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NO DAMN STARS DONT COME HERE 10 minutes before they close cause they are rude and inconsiderate, went back and ask for ketchup and the b**** slammed the window in my face and goes were supposed to be closed 10 minutes ago. Like damn if you don’t enjoy our job then leave, your ass doesn’t deserve overtime anyways. This place is disgusting because the employees attitudes. Foh

The food here usually is good but the workers are very strict if you ever ask a question they act like their life is on the line if they give you the wrong answer also of you need extra ranch or BBQ you have to pay

Update: 10÷30÷15: New review from the daytime hours. Food is fresh. Staff seems happier. The smell inside was gone. I’ll keep stopping here from time to time. :)

I had to leave a star just so I can leave this review, because I don’t think this store deserve any… August 3 at 925: pm, I’m not petty and want anything for free, but this is the second time this happen to me at this store already and I’ve only been 3 times. And the first time I didn’t even trip about it, but they I only order 2 fish sandwich and a breakfast one and went home and they forgot the breakfast one so I call like 30 times and they always have there phone off the hook because it just give u a busy signal, I think they don’t that because they have a lot of complaints and just don’t like to deal with there issue. I even call all the ones near them and ever other store pick right up, so I ask told them what had happen and they said call Corporate and I told them I try and they we close, I not trying to drive back to just to get a free sandwich (well I already paid for it, so it’s not free) but it’s twice in three tries and what a waste of my time and money they must have already pocket.

So yesterday I waited in the car as I sent my son into MacDonald’s (he wanted a drink) I got a frantic phone call from him in the store asking I come in. A man in his mid 30’s was walking out and said «what the f%#& are you looking at punk» and lunged at him as to punch him. To my 13 year old. My son was upset, scared… I went in and confronted the employees. Turns out ECPD was already in route cause this man was verbally assaulting every child and parent in McDonalds. We were offered free drinks for the «uncomfortable situation» apparently they need security at this McDonalds but never let your children go in alone.

Horrible drive thru service. Waited 15 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me, for 2 drinks.

I seem to have issues every time I go to this McDonald’s. They always mess up my order and the service is terrible. I went this morning to get a mcgriddle with my boyfriend and our drinks tasted like they had some kind of cleaning agent in them. We have made it official that we will no longer be going to this location.

I drove away eating my hamburger, and after a bite or two I realized there was no hamburger meat! WTF??! It was pouring rain and I was already back on the freeway, otherwise I would’ve gone back to complain. What a joke.

If I could give this place no stars I would give it no stars. The clientele are mostly criminal and prostitute types. Having said that my daughter needed to use the restroom and I made a horrible mistake of stopping here. I can say in my 40 years of living this was probably the most disgusting bathroom I’ve ever been in. Maybe I should have gotten a clue when you have to go to the front desk to get a token use the restroom. The management needs to either get off their rear end and clean the restroom or fire their janitor. Hopefully the owner sees this and sees their low reviews and does something to change it.

After 16 hours at work I can be a little grumpy on my way home with an empty stomach. I kept this in mind so as to give the benefit of the doubt but with even that in mind I can honestly say that I should’ve just gone to bed hungry. Waited a extraordinary long time to get 2 Simple cheeseburgers and fries (about 10min) McDonalds isn’t the happy place that I loved as a kid. Whoever the CEO is that decided to make McDonalds feel like a friggin Starbucks should be hung by his ankles and have Mc bull Crap poured down his nose

I cannot stand this location. I am writing a review so the owner does something about this. I have gone thru the drive thru for the past three months that I’ve gone there. And we have waited at the order phone for 10 mins before anyone getting to us. I had to walk in to ask them what was happening this last time. The worse part was there was NO ONE in the lobby either!!! And the food sucked… I will never be back! A waste of time and money! STAY AWAY!!!

This McDonalds and its staff are extremely unprofessional, rude and the restaurant is extremely dirty. I ordered an iced coffee today and their was pieces of hair all over the cup. Will make I wont go their again rather pay $ 5.00 for an iced coffee at Starbucks then come here again extremely disappointed.

Who reviews McDonald’s? Well I felt like I had to after my experience. I was the only one in the restaurant and after ordering my McFlurry I waited watched the staff cleaning and taking out trash for 10 minutes before asking when I may get my food. Seriously? It’s ice cream with some cookie pieces in it. Then they begrudgingly went to go get it for me and didn’t even mix it. Next time I will just go to Baskin Robins across the street!

Horrible service went through the drive threw to get my kids 2 Sunday’s and a vanilla ice cream cone and the lady rudely interrupted 3 times and asked if that was it. Then we get to the 2^nd window and they put our Sundays in a big paper bag they were spilt dripping. I mean REALLy how dumb put them in a cup holder not smart or friendly at all. this is why I don’t come here. 1^st time and last time.

I wish there was zero… heres what I sent corporate about my experience. .also did it cuz the «manager» said people who believe Unilocal reviews are dumb anyway…
Comments: First of all happy holidays… I hope yours are better than your manager on duty tonight adam who was the most crass and rude individual both to employees working and customers. The reason I’m writing this is because I was told «go ahead and send an email & while your at it mention me on Unilocal» my commemt was initially to say thank you for being open so late on a holiday as I just finished a 12 hour shift myself and was starving and the one by my house was closed. However he assumed it was negativedue to the fact that he yelled at his cook Mustafa stating loudly to the other people that he ddoesn’t read or speak english which is why the girls in front of me had their order incorrectly made which is what prompted me to check mine. I realize my order was somewhat needy a 20 piece fresh (only 10 of which were) fries no salt (as sometimes other stores pour enough salt for a bucket o fries) and 2 mcdoubles (1 plain for my 12 year old daughter who was subjected to his yelling and screaming at his employees and other one no mustard or ketchup as I just don’t like it) anyhow the nuggets were half wrong the no ketchup or mustard was wrong and I said something poliety. He slammed 10 nuggets in the trash demanded they be remade even though he didn’t I said nothing and just took them as I waited 15 – 20 minutes already fries I didn’t mention as adam was already stressed out enough just having to get the 2 items remade and a hungry 12 year old by my side begging to eat and go to
that point is when I asked for mgr info which is probably why he assumed it bc I was going to say thanks for remaking the order. As I walk out with my child he c ontinues to comment about Unilocal and then says «I remade your food now leave» had I been rude or upset I’d understand but as a store manager myself I value both positive compliments as well as opportunities for improvement it is clear he does not. I’ve never been to this particular location and nor I will as it is clear that this location unlike santee does not value thier customer or employees. If another manager or employee at my place of business acted this way I would fire him for sure. He has no business interacting with anyone! He told me the store manager is gone for 2 weeks so I hope something is done before then but I will be posting this on Unilocal per his suggestion sinve my wonderf xmas eve came to a horrible close by this situation. I was glad to see this icon of El Cajon was still standing. Of course, why should I be worried, right? It’s McDonald’s and will be standing until the end of time. I used to frequent this place and the JITB down the street during my younger days in SoCal. We made a quck trip through the drive thru to pick up a Happy Meal for my niece as my sister and I were picking up items for a party later in the day. I got a McDouble with cheese to fend off the hunger that was building. Nothing outstanding, but the service was relatively fast and the young lady working the drive thru was friendly. I’ll be sure to return the next time I’m in Cajon Zone.

After dealing with register clerks and managers on THREE different occassions, we wont be going to THIS McDonalds again. If youre smart you wont either! They just dont have their stuff together and the store is poorly managed.
We really love the Southwestern Salad that McDonalds serves. Its Delicious! It comes with Paul Newman’s southwest dressing (yum!), various greens, black beans, corn kernels, tortilla strips, carrots and last but VERY importantly it comes with a SLICE OF LIME which sets off all of the other flavors and adds a touch of authentic Mexican flavor to the dish.
Weve ordered the salad at several different McDonalds throughout the SD area and were happy with the quality. But not at this location on North 2^nd street in El Cajon. On all three differnt occasions there was NO LIME in the salad! We complained to the manager each time because without the lime, the salad just is NOT the same, not to mention that we had to drive back to the store and walk inside to get a single lousy piece of lime… THREE TIMES in a ROW. Im sure that if we went there NOW, they would give us the same treatment… ie a salad without the piece of lime… GUARANTEED.
As if this wasnt bad enough, around the same time, we went thru the drive thru at night and ordered a new promotional angus burger and a southwestern salad from a young guy but while we were ordering he just dissappeared and the order was handed off to a girl who was obviously over loaded with handling the counter amidst checking her orders all while taking over orders from the night window! I asked her what happened to the guy who took our order and she said she didnt know. 10 MINUTES LATER, we got our order and drove away only to find that we were given someone elses order containing a Big Mac and a Chicken Sandwich… wtf? We couldnt believe this was a McDonalds…
The store has problems with management and discipline… OBVIOUSLY. They dont seem to listen to customer complaints and just keep making the same mistakes and using the same lame modus operandi
Do yourself a favor and go to any other McDonalds!

This McDonalds left me with mixed results. I ordered a cup a coffee and a maple oatmeal. Notice I did not say hash browns, and the reason I say that is because I was charged for one. After I pointed out that what I was being charged did not add, the girl looked at me puzzled, but then she looked at the register, and was surprised it was on there. I am sure it was a honest mistake. Perhaps she thought I wanted a combo or something.
At any rate, I paid for my coffee and oatmeal and had a seat. The oat meal was not all the way cooked properly, so I put the cover back on and let it sit a few more minutes. As I was sitting there, I noticed a lady busily mopping down the children’s playground which was a good idea because that place was a mess.
Finally, after a few sips of my good coffee, my oatmeal was ready, so I mixed up a little and dug in. The oatmeal was very good. (
) The bits of fruits and raisin s were not mush but crunchy. Believe it or not, the oatmeal is my favorite thing about McDonald’s.
The coffee and oatmeal came out to $ 3.25 with tax.
