H&R Block

Systematic failure!!! I had did a drop off and Joanie called me three days later and told me that my package was ready for pick up. I asked and insisted for an appointment but she assured me that everything is up front. She did tell me that my tax preparer wasn’t in today and I knew something bad was about to happen. Even after all the asking she still insisted that my package is good to go.
I got here about 810 pm, and was met by Natalia. Natalia probably looked two places and just said I don’t know. Even when I was making suggestions she kept on interrupting me and telling me to come back tomorrow! I spent a whole hour getting my kids ready and driving to their locations was all for nothing!
She refused to apologize and was just trying to push us out the door. I will be returning tomorrow and talking to Pam the store manager about my experience today and if there are no coupons for the inconvenience I will never and I repeat NEVER go through H&R block for taxes! So lesson learned, DON’t TRUST JOANIE WORD, AND NATALIA IS A LAZY ASS!

I made an appointment online with Carl. Got there and he wasn’t there so the receptionist called him and apparently he had a home appointment and wasn’t going to come. No call ahead of time or anything. That was kind of irritating… But Araceli at the desk was so nice and called around to see if anyone else could come in. She was genuine and really wanted to make sure I wasn’t inconvenienced any other way. I wasn’t in a hurry (I work downtown and had just gotten off).
I ended up waiting for the only tax preparer in the office to finish her last appointment and then help me. Glad I waited! Karla was really nice and didn’t even let on if she was annoyed for staying after closing to help me. My taxes are usually simple but when I prepared them myself I was only getting $ 20 back. Karla got me $ 2,700. I was amazed! I was expecting $ 450 – 600. She fully explained all my options for refunds, which ones have fees, which ones are quickest etc. I am certain I will come back to this location again next year.
