Gyros House

Left the theater and saw employee having a great time cleaning and cooking. thought humm what is he making? Ordered Shawarma with saffron rice.
Man behind the counter made my husband and i smile the whole time her prepared our dinner. Was blown away! Huge portions and soooo good! Have been back 5 times! That’s 5 stars baby!

Went to see Dirty Grampa at the theatre and was hungry. So I stopped here on my way out and picked up a Gyro. I was going to eat it at home but it smelled so good I ate it in my truck in the parking lot. Tasted as good as it smelled. I think I finished in three minutes hahahaha. It came with fries which were decent. I also ordered baklava. A little hard for my taste but it did well enough. If I come this way again I will stop here for sure.

Everytime I come to the mall, I stop by this place to get my shawarma fix. The owner is a very nice gentle man who always carries a smile. The chicken shawarma wrap is amazing, highly recommend. Five Stars!

August 9: Located in the food court, this was the only restaurant that stood out to me to try. I wasn’t really hungry so we went ahead to order their $ 6 meal special.
Great deal and worth it. That’s it just come here.

I stopped in this little eatery located in the Parkway Plaza Shopping Mall food court and was initially going to order the pita gyros sandwich, but instead went for the gyros meat salad. I had to pay an extra .85 for warm pita bread on top the $ 7.99 for the salad.
The salad was pretty good. I was a little disappointed that the gyros meat did not come hot and crispy right off the vertical spinner, but rather they cut off the meat off the spinner because it was not entirely cooked through or not all, then cooked and heated it on the stove top. As a result, the gyros meat, all though tasted pretty good, tended tot be a little dry. They put an average amount of the meat onto the salad, and a little bit feta cheese, which I love. I even asked the cook making my salad for extra feta, but he ignored me.
The greens of the salad were fresh and abundant, and so were the onions and cucumbers. The tomatoes however, appeared to be a little past their prime. They had good color, but had that flavor they been sitting for a while. The salad dressing was nice and the salad came with just the right amount.
The pita bread came warm and they give you quite the large piece and not those little triangles you get at other places. Very good pits. Service was friendly enough and got the food out in a decent amount of time.

This is our second time here and I have to say it’s delicious! Truly healthy and fresh! My wife and I got their beef sharwama and chicken salad and the meat has the right seasoning. If you’re looking for good food here is the place. They do get pretty busy during lunch and it’s the only few times I’ve been here so I cannot speak for dinner lines. The crew is super friendly this will be my spot when I come here again! Good job Gyro House!

These gentlemen are awesome. My wife and I come to this place to receive great customer service and especially the food. We always get the gyro plate. Thank you gentleman!!!

Some straight up righteous Greek Food served here! Absolutely, the best fries in San Diego which are always cooked to perfection. Every time I go to the mall to see a movie this is the only place I’ll eat at in the food court! Everything is fresh and delicious!

I honestly didn’t have that much expectations at first for shawerma from a mall food court restaurant, but damn this surprised me. It was actually really good. I’ve been wanting good shawerma but there isn’t that much good options in SD, and this place came to my rescue. Get the chicken shawerma, you will not regret it! I’m definitely coming back!

DELICIOUS. Nothing can describe of how amazed I am with this gyro shop. I went to this place thinking it would be just like any other gyro spot but this spot has just amazed me! I had to get seconds and take it home with me! The food just makes your day. I loved it, the food was fresh and it just tasted amazing and these guys actually know how to much ACTUAL gyro unlike all these other fake gyro spots that aren’t even that good. I decided to try the gyro sandwich and also some hummus and I honestly loved it. I decided to take a menu with me so I can try out the stuff they have on their amazing menu. Customer service was fabulous, these guys are so nice to you and they make you feel welcomed! Overall I’m very happy with this restaurant and I will HIGHLY recommend this place to all my friends and family! Keep up the good work guys I’ll be coming back soon.
