So happy I found Doctor Wokuluk! I won’t go anywhere else great assistants so sweet and helpful, they make going to dentist enjoyable! Yes I said enjoyable! Great place to get your dental needs seen to! Awesome Doctor and staff!

I have never been disappointed with the quality of the dental work my family has received from Dr. Wokuluk. He is quiet and patient, kinder than kind. He listens, smiles, and understands our financial restrictions and needs and works within those perameters. He has been treating my daughter since she was 2 (she is now 10), and because of him, she has talked about becoming a dentist for years. He clearly has made an impression. He recently referred us to a wonderful Orthodontist who also speaks highly of him when we go in for my daughter’s braces. I’m super satisfied with Dr. Wokuluk. He is one of the rare gems in the business!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Wokuluk. In addition to regular checkups and cleanings I had him replace veneers and do a bonding. It was pain-​free and I am happy with the cost and results. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I am a coward, terrified and anxious when it comes to dental work. (Yes, to the point of it being irrational.) The office & staff are friendly, considerate, and understanding from the moment I called on the phone to when I left the office. Dr. Wokuluk put me at ease and gave me a new perception to hold onto instead of fear.
He made sure the entire process was comfortable and pain free. He explained to me what needed to be done, what he was doing, and what the follow up would be. I understood more in one visit with Dr. Wokuluk than I had with any of work done by all previous dentist.
I can’t thank my friend enough for recommending Dr. Wokuluk. I’ve found my dentist.

Dr. Wokuluk is a great dentist. His staff is also very capable and friendly.
I came to Dr. Wokuluk after several bad dentist experiences but he and his staff actually make going to the dentist enjoyable.
Aside from patient experience, Dr. Wokuluk is highly skilled in his trade. Any work I have received from him is excellent quality. He also gives very good recommendations to others doctors when necessary.

The customer service is bigger than the Dental service to me!

The customer service (Shelly) gives is not so good. I went there for tooth issue and contacted his office. When I arrived at my appointment I had to fill in my paper work and all the CHAT behind the counter was not work related. The two to three employee talking loudly. I turned in my paperwork and had to fill in more. I sat in the waiting area for over 10 mins and I arr rived early. Dr. Wokuluk could not treat the tooth I came for but gave me a referral to another doctor. The doctor office was in area of the office. I made appointment to get there to learn that my new x-​rays was required. I am like they took x-​rays already at the office that referred me. She explain they didn’t have the x-​ray.
After my appointment I placed a call to Dr. Wokuluk office. The SMART lady tell me how I should of took the x-​ray with me. I did not receive an x-​ray and it should be still at your office in my file. She say yes it is or I could of walked it over the dental office. I WOULD THINK IF THEY REFEREED ME TO AN OFFICE THEY WOULD COMMON SENSE TO GET THE X-​RAY TO THAT OFFICE. Do I look like transportation! Why would I need to take the x-​ray with me and you have it! What is going on with CUSTOMER SERVICE! I suggest that that each customer receive the service of x-​rays being sent to the off you referred.
Now I have to take off work a second day and off a surgery on my mouth. If the xray was at the office. The doctor would of know what to do PRIOR to my *ucking visit. I am not happy and have the mind to call the Doctor back.

I had the best dental experience at Dr. Wokuluk’s clinic. Previously, I went to a dental group along Johnson Ave. hoping that they will clean my teeth. Instead, I was told that I needed deep cleaning to avoid periodontal disease blah blah blah. Here’s the catch — they were asking me to pay more than $ 200 even though I have dental insurance. In short, the dentist did not even check or clean clean my teeth but wanted to rip me off. I was so disappointed.
Then I saw some great reviews about Dr. Wokuluk and decided to try him out in October 2011. What can I say, he’s a great dentist! Not only did he clean my teeth but he took the time in cleaning them even though I was the last patient in his office and they were already closing. He was very gentle and he made sure that I got the deep cleaning without spending extra money since my dental insurance covered the procedure. The staff was very friendly and the dental assistant was not at all annoyed that I finished so late. I was so happy after my appointment and am excited to be back in six months. — Ted’s wife =)

My experience with dentist was not good at all. I would not recommend this practice to an enemy let alone a friend or family member and I had such high hopes after reading the other reviews, how upsetting.

I have been using them for ever 10 years. I love that they know my name, make me laugh, take their time, and know what they are doing.
Doctor Gary was also nominated for an award from among his PEERS as a great dentist. If your competition thinks you’re good and your patient’s love you, then doesn’t it make sense to switch to a dentist you can feel comfortable with. Yes, it doesn’t make the exam and cleaning go away, but you’ll have fun while they are doing it!

I had terrible times at the dentist growing up. Those fears were completely demolished by Dr. W — So thankful I found him!!!

After moving back to san Diego from orange county I was never able to find a dentist I really clicked with. A friend worked at a place in el cajon that turned out to be the worst dental nightmare of my life. Not to name any names but horizon dental has to be the worst dentist office if you want to call it that in the country.
A friend referred my wife to dr. Wokuluk about 2 years ago. I cannot say enough good things about the guy.
When you go in for a cleaning, he himself cleans your teeth. He does not hand you off. He explains every procedure and anything going on with your teeth in terms even knuckle heads like me can understand. The entire staff is gentle and caring. Every experience is a good experience going on 2 years now.
The office staff is beyond professional and our family could not ask for a better dentist. He has our approval!
