I shopped all the replaster companies and after doing so, found a perfect fit with Gammon Pools. The owner, Donnie Gammon, is a real positive, can do type of guy. Didn’t find this attitude with the 6 other companies I had come out. And I was by no means, an easy customer. Very picky, changed my mind a couple of times, and still found Donnie and his office manager, Ashely, handling this very well. No attitude problems or expression of impatience.
Both Ashely and Donnie worked with me to chose waterline tile and step trim tile, an made sure I saw prior pool jobs so I could make an educated decision on what mini pebble finish to go with. One pool finish hit my eye… perfect blue water color and great looking surface color when viewing the shallow parts (spa and baja shelf). The crew demo’d my old pool in only about 6 hours, and the finishing crew came afterwards and got the finish on in perfect form.
Again, it’s all about customer service… and frankly, none of the other pool companies impressed me either with their initial presentation or their personalities. And that impression was what the other pool job referral ppl had to say about Donnie and his staff/​crew as well.
One final and very important comment… he was competitively priced to boot.
Take it from a pickey, nervous, admittedly high maintenance customer… this project was one of the best experiences I have had over the years working with contractors.

Gammon Pools was recommended by a friend of mine that works for Zodiac (in the industry). We had already interviewed 3 other companies, but I was sold when the owner himself actually came to bid the work. We needed resurfacing and new tiles. Donny had a formal bid in writing to my email just 30 minutes after leaving my house. It was the most competitive of the bids we received and they had the best time line. Less than a week after deciding to go with Gammon, our pool was under construction. In 4 days, our pool was complete. You read that right… FOUR DAYS! Each crew that showed up did their jobs very efficiently, they were timely, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Start to finish, this was a very impressive company. I’m so thrilled we gave them the business and highly recommend them to anyone needing to resurface or remodel their pool. Bravo Gammon Pools!!! :-)

AWESOME!!! We are very happy with our remodeled pool. A few reasons why I highly recommend Gammon Pools are, 1. Excellent customer service. Both Yvette and Ashley took a lot of time to walk me through the details of my project. They took the time to answer all my questions and had excellent communication through phone, emails and in person. 2. The project was done on time and on budget! 3. I have zero complaints! It literally took me about three years to find a pool company that could do the job the way I wanted it for the right price. A couple of other well-​known SD companies came to the house but there was always something wrong with the quote, they didn’t show up on time, or at all. Once a guy showed up to give me an estimate driving a really expensive sports car! I don’t have to tell you how high his quote was! I found Gammon pools during a Google search and decided to give them a call and get a quote. The staff was courteous and concerned about making my experience with them a good one! After I got their quote I noticed that it was the lowest! I have been an experienced Manger of purchasing for many years so my gut has always told me to go with the middle quote and never the lowest one. However after reviewing their BBB file I threw that idea out the window as their BBB record was spotless (unlike all of the rest of the companies that quoted me, especially the guy’s company with the expensive car)! I called them up and made arrangements to start! I had to go out of town for a couple of days during the construction and was apprehensive about people working at the house without me being in town so I rigged a camera to watch the construction and the workers. WOW these guys worked from the time they got there in the morning until quitting time each and every day. Very impressive and appreciated! If you need pool work done get Gammon to do it! I rarely write recommendations about companies that do work for me but in this case I think it is not only earned but required. Thanks again Gammon Pools and all of your friendly staff!
