Went there on Sunday to watch the playoff games, while the wife’s went to play BINGO and found a great place to grab a beer and watch sports. Let me tell you the service is great! and the food is flavorful and big portions. During the game my buddy and I split a Work’s pizza and an order of Chili cheese fries, the pizza was a thin crust very tasty perfect treat and the fries were exceptional. I’ll be back just to eat the food.

This is a nice place to chill if you need a break from the tables or slots. They have around 25 local San Diego microbrews on tap and the food is great. A nice place to catch the games on Sunday or Monday night. I recommend the Karl Strauss Peanut Butter Cup porter. The only drawback(and lack of a 5 star rating) is that the service sucks. The servers make hourly rounds and lack the ability to recommend microbrews or menu items. So if you’re not in a hurry and you have a lit of time on uour hands you might enjoy this place. Otherwise you will be serously disapointed by the service. I came here tonight and saw my waitress once around once every 45 minutes.

Second time here absolutely awful service. No bartender even approached us to say hello then went and sat at their other bar and the same thing. Played for a while and no cocktail server stopped to check on us. Plenty of employees standing around so we left. I won’t be back.

Okay sports bar in Sycuan’s Casino. They have a long list of drinks to choose from as far as beer goes. Same thing for liquor. The food is okay as well. Just your normal sports bar. It’s not 24 hours like the casino though, that was a shocker for me considering the casino is 24 hours.

Delicious food, good service, I’m not really sure why people are giving this low stars. Just because it was busy doesn’t mean you should rate the business low; try contacting management, sure, but that’s the first time I’ve seen people give businesses a one-star just because there was a long wait to get seated in a sports bar during a game(duh?). I ordered a burger, it was good, not the best burger I’ve ever had but still pretty good. The pizza was really good, especially for the price paid. Waitresses were very friendly. Plenty of TVs. Not really sure what else you could ask for.

Been coming here for over 3 years now and this place is going down hill. Place gets emptier every month and now I’m starting to see why. Forget coming here on any PPV event only if you want to show up 5 – 6 hours before the event just to see it or stand in line with no hopes of getting inside. What makes it worse is that you can see the Bartender and waitress just standing around because no one is ordering. Also charge you $ 2 for a bottle of water you can get anywhere else in the casino for free. In fact, they will only give you water for free if you are gambling. So I stuck $ 20 in the machine just so i could get a bottle water(i don’t gamble slots) and went to the bathroom and someone play with my money. Management told me «Your lucky they left you some» I guess its my fault but if I would have stole a nickle from Sycuan they would have had cameras and security on me in a heartbeat. Management did little to nothing to help and I was furious. So I waited 2 days to write this review just to give a fair judgement and yup I’m still pretty pissed. Won’t be coming here anymore. If you like a bar where you get treated like a peasant… Come here

Nice bar. Good menu. I love that the booths have their own tv’s. Good drink menu. I love the décor and the people that frequent the bar are nice.

Not a bad little spot when you want to get away from the hub of the main casino. There are NO places where you can watch Games /Events inside the casino and have a cocktail, so this is it. Food is not too bad, typical sports bar fare. Service is pretty solid — Oceana was GREAT, for 2 days took care of whatever we needed. Great attitude and demeanor. Prices are in line with what you would expect at a Sports Bar. Overall, pretty solid place.

Stopped in for just a few glasses of wine & slot play before the buffet. Wow — really high-end finishes inside, super clean. My bartender Robert was fast & friendly. He mentioned the 10% discount on food & bev with the club card which I thought was really nice of him. Prices were very reasonable. I will certainly hit this spot again on our next visit.

Horrible experience all the way around. My friends and I decided on a «quick» dinner here prior to a show last night. We were there for almost 2 hours because the waitress could not get *anything* right. From taking our initial drink orders, to bringing the drinks themselves, taking the food order, the long wait for the food(«the kitchen is backed up tonight»), didn’t check back to see if we needed anything(I had to go to the bar to ask for water because she was nowhere to be found). At the end of the painful ordeal, she then disappeared with our credit cards for 25 minutes and I had to go track her down. Every time I asked to speak with a manager, I was told that he wasn’t there. We arrived at 6:00 for an 8:00 show time, and barely made it to the show at 7:55. I’ve had better customer service at fast food restaurants & Denny’s type places. This was unbelievably bad. Stay far away from here, especially if you’re considering it for a pre-show dinner.

THEJUMBOCOCKTAILSHRIMPARENOMORE! BOOOOOO!!! Such a let down! We drove all the way down here and stayed for the night and were hoping to have the mega-shrimp cocktail that we had about 6 months ago. Apparently they changed the menu and completely got rid of them. When we asked the bartender about it he laughed as if to say, oh you stupid people, we don’t have those anymore, ha how could you think we had them? I was so let down I almost felt like crying! They don’t have the calamari or the sweet potato tater tots… TRIPLEBOO! We will not be back :(

Okay — we like Sycuan, love the bingo and the rest of the gaming action; what we do not like is empty sports bars on a weekend. What we like even less are empty sports bars where the waitstaff is reluctant to wait on you — for whatever reason(though I can guess at least one). It’s the Christmas holiday weekend — boyfriend and I and two of my girlfriends are winning, winning, winning — most especially boyfriend, who is now feeling like Big Poppa, throwing duckets around for the ladies — namely me and my girls. We find ourselves in this bar, waiting and waiting and waiting for the NOTBUSY at all bartender to acknowledge our presence. Then, once he does, he takes our order, then takes about 10 minutes making each drink — looking over at us, as if he is hoping that we would simply leave so he does not have to serve us. Eventually — over comes said bartender with drinks and our food order; this guy — worried that we are going to skip out on our tab apparently, calls security over to the bar to watch us eat, then to hover over us until we pay and leave. Sorry, we were not drunk, not getting drunk, not causing a ruckus scene or even talking loudly for that matter — and certainly not going to skip out on our tab. Hopefully that jackass bartender does not work there any longer — and if he does, he takes some courses on not profiling patrons. #assholes

Of course we came to Sycuan to cash in the free buffet tickets we had. Since the line was a long wait we ended up at this awesome sports bar to kill some time. Service was great. Definition of great service at this bar is: Bartender was prompt on taking our order, serving us drinks, and checking in to make sure our Carne Asada nachos were scrumptious. We were happily watching football and playing video poker. In addition, the bartender would often report which«letter group» they were currently calling for the buffet. To top it off, the bartender also noticed that my Sycuan card would only give us 10% off when we should be getting 20% since my husband is a Veteran(we were previously discussing this since it was Veteran’s day). We were so happy the bartender made us sign up because Military members get TWOFREEBUFFETS instead of one like regular members. Thank you again awesome bartender, for paying attention to detail, and providing us with great service.

Very good sports bar, Robert and Jarrod are very good bartenders, they actually take the time to know the customers names, and are very cordial. The servers are pleasant and attentive, they will probably be written up by management, for putting the customers first. You will not find this in any other part, of Sycuan. Their food is excellent, especially the swordfish tacos. They used to have a happy hour, and drink specials, but of course the crack general manager got rid of it.

For my sweetheart’s first Father’s Day, I bought him a shooting range package at P2K range. Of course, as is typical with our family, we didn’t go on the Father’s Day date until many months had passed(I still haven’t had my Mother’s Day home cooked meal and it’s almost October). So, after shooting some guns, I decided to bring him to a casino which I think may be one of his favorite things in the world to do. This was not exactly a spur of the moment decision, I had actually done research and learned that this sports bar at Sycuan has a late night food happy hour, starting at 9pm. As usual, my preamble is longer than my review itself. Long story short, the domestics are about $ 4 and I think the imports/specialty beers are like a quarter more. As for the late night happy hour, they don’t have it anymore apparently, even though it is still advertised on their website($ 3/$ 4/$ 5 apps). To top it off, we couldn’t even get a straight answer out of the bartender until it was too late to hit the buffet. He said they changed it, then that it was gone entirely(talking ’bout HH still). We ended up cashing in on a couple of my sweetheart’s comps and eating at the«nice» restaurant. The bar’s atmosphere is legit, lots of cool sports memorabilia, but I’m not making a trip out to Sycuan to sit at an empty bar when I have plenty of better options anywhere else in SD county.

No one greeted us when we came in. There were NO clean tables. We finally had to clean our own. Then it took forever to have our order taken. We ordered chips and salsa and they were out of salsa. Service was extremely slow. Never again!

I will take the wannabe Kardashian comment as a compliment. As a server here I have a blast and believe I work with a great crew. I believe we continually strive for great service and an awesome environment…

Awesome atmosphere. The food is DELISH. Erin is a awesome waitress. There is another waitress that is a wannabee Kardashian look alike. One word HORRIBLY. The staff all look like they are working with a sense of urgency except one. UFC’s are great to watch NOCOVER. On Saturday you can sit back and watch a ton of College football/basketball. I love this place
