Hands down the best parts store around. You will never get the shoulder shrug & a «Sorry, can’t help you» here. They will either have it or find it for you. Every guy behind the counter is a car guy who can help you out. If you have a classic car, truck or even a tractor, they can get what you need.

There’s a reason every review is exactly the same. They really are as good as described. I went to every franchise parts store in San Diego trying to get a speedometer gear O ring for my 1970 Dart. Not only could no one find the part in any of their parts fiches, but several«parts» people told me that that o ring did not exist on that transmission. I just took it off, I know it exists. You get none of that at E&M. In a matter of 30 seconds of flipping through a catalogue, another 30 seconds in the back room, now you have your o ring. This place is old school, dirty, haphazardly organized, and thoroughly awesome. They will get my money every time, vs the useless kids at Autozone. Make the trip, especially if it’s for something older or less common.

This is the best place to get auto parts for any car, including machine shop services. These guys know automobile parts like you haven’t seen in a long time. This place is like a back in time operation when you could go in and describe your part or whatever and they know what you’re talking about. I love this place, may they never close their doors! They’ve saved my ass many times after going to name brand part stores closer to my home with zero results. Try them and you will see what I mean!

In a word: Awesome. Old school shop where they actaully look in catalogs to get parts. Need parts for a Muncie? In stock. Shifter bushings for the Hurst? Here ya go. Worth the ride.

Smart people working behind the counter, as previously mentioned, they didn’t go searching in the computer when I asked them for an oddball part. Simply grabbed a book(remember books?) and found exactly what I was looking for. They have my business for life, no need to go to another Autozone or Kragen ever again.
