Business Owner
Dr. Scharer is a native of Southern California. He attended Bowdoin College in Maine and Tufts University school of Dental Medicine in Boston, Mass. before returning to California to setup a practice in El Cajon in 1975.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Society, and the San Diego County Dental society. He is affiliated with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Pacific Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and hold certificates in the advanced straight wire seminars Orthodontic program and implant miniresidency.
He has lived in Jamul for 30 years with his wife Judy and two children.
