Canyon Raceway where the track is slick and rubbings racing! Our gas powered go karts are fast, the track is super slick, and the music is pumping. Outdoor track at the Old Marshal Scotty’s. Great for all ages. Drivers must be at least 56″ tall. We specialize in having fun! We are open for drop in during Friday-Sunday and we do private parties every day.
About the Karts:
The Karts will be a little different from the ones before. These are Outlaw Sprint Cars fueled by 9 horsepower Honda motors, riding on Douglas wheels. The track, which is a 1⁄20th scale concrete surface, is now a full-time slick track

Canyon Raceway has recently been brought back to life! This East County Landmark was part of Marshall Scotty’s Playland Park and Frasier’s Frontier. It was closed for 17 years and in 2011 it was brought back to life. Canyon Raceway is completely dedicated to the great community and appreciates all its support!

After nearly seventeen years of lying in the dust and weeds at old Marshal Scotty’s Playland Park, the Canyon Raceway Go Kart track (formerly River Canyon Raceway) is reopening once again to provide great family fun and entertainment to the residents of Southern California.
The rebirth project was the idea of race veteran and local business owner Rudy Ludeke and his wife Carrie. Ludeke has 33 years of racing experience under his belt. He began racing motocross at the age of 7 around Southern California’s local motocross tracks competing for many podium finishes racing for the American Honda Support Team. At the age of 17, he stepped into a Class 7 Off-Road race truck competing in SCORE and HYDRA races including the Baja 500, Baja 1000, Mint 400, Parker 400 and many others.
After many races in the desert, Ludeke shifted his driving skills to circle track racing. He joined the American Honda Support Team in the Karting division competing on asphalt and dirt oval tracks across the Sou
