Established in 1983.

Tom Yocom started Auto Tech 29 years ago with a plan to deliver good, honest automotive repair with the best service possible. John the Service Manager has worked with Tom for over eighteen years, and we have been awarded numerous customer service awards from The Auto Club (AAA). If you have any vehicle-​related questions, please feel free to call. If you need to have work done that we do not perform, we can point you in the right direction. Business Owner

Tom Yocom founded Auto Tech in 1983. He has been an auto mechanic for forty years. Starting at an early age Tom was a total gear head, if it moved under it’s own power he was interested in it. Toms dad was sure gasoline ran through his veins. He was co-​host on KOGOs All About Cars For Four Years and Vice President of The Automotive Service Council of San Diego for two years. He believes in educating and testing his employees and himself to keep up with new technologies. He is a Master Technician with an advanced level rating L1. In addition to the automotive trade he gives back to the community by donating his time and money to the cub scouts, girl scouts, little and pony league baseball. He is married with three kids, two girls and a boy ages ten through fourteen. He thinks what goes around comes around so treating people right will always make your life better weather it be family, friends or customers.
