Country Inns & Suites

Stayed here while traveling to see family for the holidays. We were located in the side building suites and it was adorable! Clean and quiet and lots of warm blankets and a fireplace! Bonus! Breakfast was really good and the staff was very friendly!

Clean, hospitable, knowledgeable about the area — happy to have us as guests. I have stayed there before and they know my preferences. I did not realize that until the reservationist asked if I would still care for a «down-​free» room. That is service! There is a pool and whirlpool; easy access on and off the expressway. The front desk staff took time with us, checked us in early and wished us a good stay. They referred us to a couple of places for dinner, told us where the Starbucks was and welcomed us to breakfast in the morning. I had a waffle; he had a bagel. This is always my go-​to place in Effingham, and this time was no exception!

We have stayed two years in a row on our road trip to visit family. This is the only place we will stay. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The rooms are nice. The one negative is due to the fact it’s always full the elevator is slow but if that’s a problem take the stairs like I do.

Spent the night with my mom and daughter. Very much appreciated that the pool is open till midnight. After a long day on the road it was nice to be able to relax and stretch out in the water.
The front desk service was quick and pleasant. The room was very nice. Extra blankets and pillows, mini fridge, microwave and lots of plug-​ins for electronics. My one complaint was that the air conditioner seemed a little weak. We had it turned down as far as it would go and it was still pretty warm in the room.
The breakfast was wonderful. Lots of good options. And most importantly.. they have a MILK MACHINE!!! I will say the dining room was a bit warm. In general my only complaint about the hotel is temperature.
Definitely a place we would stay again.

We stayed here for over two weeks with my husband and 15 mo old and we have nothing but praise for this hotel. The manager Keidra is nice and professional. She made sure our stay was comfortable and stress free, she even suggested parks for our little one and restaurants for us. The staff are friendly, professional and welcoming. The rooms, pool, jacuzzi, work out area are very clean. The suite included extra pillows, throw, microwave and mini fridge. The breakfast is the best, but even better is the free juice and cookies available 24hr.
I give this hotel the highest score for it has met our expectation and more.
