The best post office in the area. I moved 30 minutes away, and will still take a few of my express packages here that need to be done in person. As much as I love St. Louis county, the post offices there are not the same quality.

The USPS is retooling. You may have seen the TV commercials contrasting snail mail to e-​mail, with a message something like a note on a corkboard never gets a computer virus. Good point. I’ve warmed up to the express and priority mailing center in the outer lobby. I show up with my items and roll of tape, select the right box, pack it all it, address it, use the automated center, or it take it to the counter and pay. This afternoon, I received a smile, and «Have a GREAT day!» I don’t know whether the staff has been going to customer service seminars or is just taking happy pills, but I like it.
