Always have a good experience here, wether it’s carry out or dine in, food is always awesome. Best salad and cannelloni in town.

Don’t believe the bad reviews. These people don’t know what they’re talking about. Pasta House has excellent food and most of the time great service. Their excellent homemade dishes and items include : –Rigatoni a la Carbonara –Cheesy garlic bread –pizza –salad with house dressing & parmesian cheese –Fettucini alfredo –pasta con broccoli –hand breaded chicken strips(kids meals) Their fresh baked rolls are to die for. We’ve been going there for several years and have rarely been disappointed. Plus kids eat free on Sundays. Whoever says they’re bad is wrong because they haven’t been there enough to try it out. Giving them a one star is wayyyyyy off the mark!!!

Went to Pasta House tonight. Service was a bit slow. It took 40 minutes for food to arrive. They were only 1⁄3 full of patrons-if that. Our salads seems like they had sat in the frig for sometime. They were soggy and very wilted. The rolls were also old and slightly stale. They only offer 1 or 2 rolls per person-no basket like you use to get and no one asked if we wanted more. My Parmesan Chicken Sandwich was hot and fresh and I ordered pasta with red sauce-which was also slightly cold. My husband ordered the meatball sandwich, which wasn’t meatballs at all but a smashed patty of sorts. NOt at all the same sandwich which he orders at the PH off 270. The fries were over salted. Our waitress was just average-slow to refill drinks. Not sure that we would go back to this particular PH but would definitely visit another one.

We had a horrible experience there tonight. This place looks and feels like a restaurant on a steep decline. The salad was so acidic that we could not eat it. The salad is the reason my wife chose PHC. The rolls tasted like they were two days old. We were treated to a kitchen staff conversation, much too loud, about rappers with a liberal amount of «shits» thrown in. The manager was a part of the conversation. We have eaten at PHC’S all across the Metroeast area for years but won’t be returning to Edwardsville.

2 extremely rude managers one short blond hair fat guy another one six-foot plus tall huge dark-haired guy they must’ve lost the table ticket party of seven’s ticket because food took over an hour and a half to end up at the table when numerous tables around us had been seeded after us served paid their bill tables clean … When we asked for the guy behind the counter to come over and speak with us he could give a shit less… Why it was taking so long that would be the large brown haired manager uses the name Dominic… Then we asked to speak with the other manager on duty … When he came up to the table acting like he had no clue about the situation going on … But clearly made it, clear that it wasn’t a major priority more or less he came over grinning like a smart ass. After complaining to both managers NOTEVER asking for a discount on our table and noticing that they could really give a care less we decided we all wanted our food boxed up to go… Needless to say after we spoke up and told them about our feelings. The way they were acting they all the sudden wanted to kiss our butts and pay for our complete meal $$$ …, the problem is they didn’t need to pay for anything if they would’ve just showed a little bit of understanding in the first place… Like SORRY maybe we would’ve been able to sit there and finish are meal but because of both of their attitudes we decided to leave … We highly recommend changing management. And we have been customers of pasta house for years… Not tell some change happens … But this must’ve what caused Alton IL pasta house to close… Dominic Dan & Jason thank’s for all of the diss respect …

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant period. We have not been to a Pasta House in many years and thought we would check it out for old times sake. After walking into the place it seemed nice and clean and we all ordered everything which was appetizers salad and pasta for the main course. Appetizers took 10 minutes which was fine and salads came out shortly there after so still good. Now after we sat down there were 3 other tables sit down and after about 30 minutes we notice that they all have their food so we ask another waiter about our food as ours was behind the bar practicing being a bartender shaking drinks and she said she would go and get the manager. Manager comes out apologizes about the delay and the here comes our dinner 20MINUTES! Later. The manager comes back and asks how everything is going and by our looks he could tell not well and just leaves. We get our bill and he took half off but it wasn’t enough for us to ever step foot back in this place. One of the only times I’ve not left a tip at a place.

We went here for New Years Eve. Did not have much of a wait but we waited a long time for our food to come out. The food was barely average at best. My daughters was extremely undercooked which they offered to remake. We just had them take it off our bill. Also their salads do not come with the meal which is an extra cost but actually the only reason to eat there. I think for the price they could do a better job. Very much overpriced.

We had dinner in Edwardsville last night. busy for a Friday night and we were seated next to the bar. Too bad for us. our waiter was also the bartender. We had to beg for a tea refill and someone else delivered our food to us. no bread roll refill was offered with dinner. Had to beg for them too. Tired of poor service. Oh and you young waiter with a mustache can stop stroking your stache and mouth like it’s cool. it wasnt. Bad habit that grossed me out. Waiter got a small tip because he did very little for us. Tucci. get some better help in your joint!

I was incredibly disappointed earlier this week when my family and I had an early dinner at the Pasta House. This is in regards to using coupons purchased off of DealChicken. 3 of them were purchased on 11⁄26 in anticipation of my brother returning from Texas after being diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. He used to love the Pasta House and we were planning to go when he got home. Unfortunately, by the time he came back to IL, the disease had already progressed to the point where he wasn’t able to go out to restaurants or really any activity outside the house or the hospital. My brother passed away the morning of 1⁄22. After completing his funeral arrangements, 6 members of my family including myself went out for a much needed meal after not having eaten all day long. When we arrived, we discussed sitting at 3 separate tables in order to be able to use all of the coupons before they expired on 1⁄25. I found this to be an unreasonable solution since what we needed was to be together as a family. After I explained the situation to the manager and asked for an exception in this case, I was simply told«No». There was no sympathy, no empathy, no «I’m sorry for your loss». I was told«No». I asked him to call his supervisor and when he returned from making that supposed phone call, I again was told«No». Now, I know the rules on the coupon, however I also believe there are always exceptions, especially in this case where we could have simply sat at separate tables and used all 3. However, I still found the answer and the behavior appalling given the circumstances. And the food was nothing special. I will never go back to another Pasta House and I would recommend that no one else go there either.

We have frequented Pasta House for years, in several locations. We typically don’t have full pasta orders, focusing more on the fish and chicken entrees. We find them to usually be well-prepared, and tasty. My concern here is that we were in the Edwardsville store this weekend, and noticed a girl in the back sneeze without covering her mouth ATALL. Shortly after, we watched a busboy who was setting up silverware servings wipe his nose with his hand and then keep picking up the silver. I am concerned about the training the staff apparently is not getting on health issues.

Been to The Pasta House Company several times in Edwardsville, IL with our dear friend Jane Ward. For some reason, I am seeing a trend with Pasta House. The Pasta House locations that are located OUTSIDE of the St. Louis area for some reason seem to taste better than the locations WITHIN the St. Louis area. Can’t explain it, but just my observation. Had the soup(the one with all the vegetables) and then had the rigatoni roma dish for dinner. The pasta was great as was the soup. My only issue with the dinner last night was the fact our server disappeared and we were low on drinks and were never offered additional bread with our meal. Otherwise, it was delicious and would return again.

Why is this place still in business? We have Bella Milano and the Peel — heck, Pizza hut makes better food than Pasta House! Ate there 3 times(glutten for punishment I guess) and finally swore off of them. I can’t figure out why there are still cars in the parking lot there. Could it be that there is still a sizeable amount of the area population who haven’t yet eaten there and are clueless? Noisy, bad service, frozen food(in the center — guess it wasn’t fresh made!), bland food, cold air blowing on us… not sure what else they could’ve done to help me decide: Never Again! I wouldn’t eat there if the food was free. Honestly.

Have lived in the area for over five years. Ate here within the first few months and wouldn’t think of going back. Anyone can boil noodles and serve them up. But, it takes a special kind of place to ruin a red sauce. And really, how many dishes can one put Provel on? Do yourself a favor, buy some store bought noodles, a hunk of parmesan cheese and sauce and stay home.
