Sherman Optical is an independently owned optical shop that specializes in hard to fit and specialty lenses. We have our own onsite finishing lab and do complex eyeglass repairs at our location. We have roughly 800 eyeglasses to choose from ranging in price from $ 60-​$ 600. We are here to find just the right lenses and frame fit for each individual customer.

History

Established in 1939.

Sherman Optical was founded in 1939 by John Scheuerman Sr who was an Optometrist. His son John Scheuerman Jr carried on the legacy as a Lisenced Optician. When John Jr’s son Fred was of age he became lisenced and continued the family business located in Lynnwood. In 2006 the shop relocated the the Stevens Professional Center in Edminds where Fred and his son Mike (also a Lisenced Optician) continued to provide top notch customer care. This location remains to this day with all the knowledge and history passed down to the current owner and 4^th generation Sherman, Mike.

Following the footsteps of his father, grandfather and great-​grandfather before him, Mr. Scheuerman has been in the family business since 2000 and has been a licensed Optician since 2004. He enjoys carrying on the 4^th generation and strives to continue the legacy of excellence in craftsmanship and customer service that has kept Sherman Optical going since 1939. Outside of work he enjoys camping, boating and spending quality time with his family.
