Sarah’s Pet Care

As a working couple with multiple high energy dogs, we’ve trusted our pack to Sarah’s Pet Care every weekday since we first moved to Shoreline, well over a year ago – so this is long overdue (the Sarah’s Pet Care team, especially Pam who is the primary daycare person for our dogs, have been such a vital and important part of our day to day life that thanking them is like thanking the sun for shining!)
We were impressed with Sarah and her team, their professionalism, and their expertise from the moment we met them during the initial new client home visit. They’ve been thoughtful and accommodating to the individual needs of our dogs and our family – our dogs had been part of a pick-​up /​drop-​off dogpark daycare group in Seattle, and originally we had Sarah’s Pet Care take them for park trips – but then it made more sense for our growing pack to spend the full hour-​long visit doing supervised play in our own yard, and we’re so glad Sarah’s team suggested that. It’s great to know that our animals get exercise and attention in the middle of the day, and we really appreciate the text updates that Pam sends.
Last fall we adopted our third dog – Sarah’s team assisted with extra ‘puppy’ visits at first as we incorporated him into our family and work schedule – the new pup had never been properly socialized in his previous home, and developed behavioral problems our older dogs never had – but Pam and Sarah’s team were right there with us every step of the way, incorporating and reinforcing what we were learning from our dog trainers into the daily daycare visits, and supporting and facilitating our difficult decisions – it’s not an exaggeration to say that Pam’s dedication and care is a huge reason we were able to keep, and keep working with, the ‘problem’ pup we had all grown to love. Sarah’s Pet Care also offers overnight pet-​sitting services, and trusting our house and our special needs pack to SPC puts our minds at ease, knowing our pets are in their own home with people who love them when we travel without them. We cannot say enough about Sarah’s team, and how they’ve become like family to us and our pets – but this story sums it up: once during a daycare visit, one of our dogs got sick (turned out to be a stomach virus); Pam took care of her and updated us all along – but we were both stuck at work until that evening – so Sarah herself actually found childcare for her own child and came over in the afternoon to check in on our sick pup – it’s that kind of unsolicited dedication and genuine caring for our animals that makes the Sarah’s Pet Care team so spectacular, and the peace of mind we get from this team is priceless. We don’t know what we’d do without them!

We have been using Sarah’s Pet Care for 2 – 3 years now. They exercise our two HUGE dogs twice a week, and also have done vacation care for both our dogs and our two elderly cats. They are excellent at scheduling and communication, and modifying your pet’s visits/​routine to your individual pet’s needs. Two of our pets require medication twice a day, and that has never been an issue for Sarah’s team either.
Unfailingly nice, fun, reliable, and great quality. Best pet care we have EVER had and we trust them implicitly. We have used two other services prior to them, but Sarah’s is really the gold standard to which all pet care places should be held to.

I admit to being a cat lady. I had two cats, now just one. Cats are the center of my life. When I travel I need to know they are well taken care of on every level. I’ve been using Sarah’s service for over a year now and when i return from trips my cat is happy to see me, not distressed by the experience of my absence at all.
I have tried other solutions for caring for my cat (s) while I was away. Sarah’s service is absolutely the best solution for me and my cat. My dad also used Sarah’s service and recently remarked that he’d forgotten to notify her of an impending trip, contacted her at the last minute and he said, «Like the reliable business woman she is, Sarah came through.»
I have nothing but excellent things to say about Sarah’s service. And I am really, really picky when it comes to pet sitters.

Sarah’s Pet Care is excellent. We use them all the time for little trips as well as longer vacations. They are extremely easy to schedule with and have always been available when we need them. They’re also very flexible and accommodating if we need to add or subtract a day from our trip, or cancel it all together.
Beyond that, they don’t mind our high-​maintenance cats and are able to improvise when the mischievous one gets into hot water. Our cats seem to rally like them too, which is great. One of our cats doesn’t seem to like most guys for some reason but she’s fine with the guy who works for Sarah’s; he texted a picture of her letting him pet her, which really put our minds at ease. (And we love that they’ll text notes and pictures now and then while we’re away.) Whenever we get home from a trip our cats seem perfectly happy and normal.
I would highly recommend this company.

Sarah’s Pet Care is simply the best. They have been taking my puppy out for walks each week. Sarah and her team is great and I highly recommend them.

We love Sarah’s Pet Care! I moved here from the east coast in mid july and just happened to see Sarah’s van advertising her business at Trader Joe’s in Lynnwood. I immediately looked for the website and reviews on here. My dog is an epileptic and has to have medications on time but also has to have a routine. However, I have to work and often have after work and weekend activities. That’s where Sarah’s Pet Care comes in. I live in Bothell and there are a group of dogs that go to a local dog park on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My dog joins them and he loves it! He gets picked up and dropped off and gets to socialize with dog friends. We love the convenience and knowing that our dog gets some attention in the middle of the day. It’s also great to have someone who can give medications if he needs them. Sarah’s Pet Care is the best.

Sarah’s Pet Care is the best! We have two golden retrievers and a tabby cat. Sarah and Matt go the extra mile to provide the best customer service possible. We use the pet sitting services when we go out of town on vacation and we are able to fully relax knowing that our furry loved ones are properly cared for. Long trips or short get-​aways Sarah and her team have been able to accommodate our needs. We have used several of the preferred kennels in the greater Seattle area but we have found that Sarah’s Pet Care is more cost effective and safer while our animals receive more individual attention and care. They will follow all instructions for care, administer medication if needed, provide regular updates with photos (per your preferred method of communication) and watch out for your pet’s safety and best interest.

We just used Sarah’s Pet Care for the first time to stay with our busy 6 month old puppy over a long weekend. Griffey was exercised daily and given a lot of attention. Matt took wonderful care of our crazy little pup. We came home to a happy puppy and neat house. Thanks!

I’ve needed Sarah’s Pet Care several times to come in and feed and walk our new puppy while I’ve been out of the house. Tucker has been well cared for every time, we come to a happy pup.
