At Quan Yin Acupuncture we provide a cozy healing atmosphere in downtown Edmonds near the Puget Sound waterfront. We are committed to providing exceptional, highly effective, affordable healthcare to help improve the health and well-​being of you and your community. We use acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to specialize in the treatment of pain, stress, fatigue, depression and anxiety, addictions, women’s health, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum.

Acupuncture is a time-​honored tradition of healing that uses very fine needles at different areas of the body to help restore balance and provide a sense of harmony and well-​being. There is little to no pain upon insertion of the needles and once they are retained the acupuncture treatment is a very calming and relaxing experience — many people fall asleep during their acupuncture treatment! At Quan Yin Acupuncture we support the relaxing effect of your treatment by creating a soothing and comfortable atmosphere.

History

Established in 2010.

Quan Yin Acupuncture was established in 2010 by Lindsay Staker, MSAOM, L.Ac. Lindsay attended school at Bastyr University obtaining her Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in December 2009. Prior to attending Bastyr Lindsay practiced Midwifery and was an office manager and assistant at an acupuncturist’s office. She brings her background and expertise in healthcare to Quan Yin Acupuncture with a vision to become the premier acupuncture clinic in the downtown Edmonds area.

Business Owner

Lindsay Staker has been involved in healthcare for over 15 years and has a deep desire to improve the health and well-​being of the community through holistic health and natural medicine. Lindsay has prior training and experience as a midwife and birth & postpartum doula. Therefore she has a strong interest and specialized training in women’s health, conception, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. In addition being the owner and acupuncturist at Quan Yin Acupuncture Lindsay also provides acupuncture services with Abundant Spring fertility acupuncture to patients undergoing IVF and other fertility procedures at the Northwest Center for Reproductive Sciences in Kirkland.

Lindsay graduated from Bastyr University obtaining her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed in the state of Washington and is NCCAOM board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
