History

Established in 1986.

Jim started out working for a door to door carpet cleaning company in Seattle– he was the cleaner and his friend did the «Upselling». Jim learned from that experience exactly the kind of Cleaner he DID NOT want to be. He then worked for several years for Janitorial companies and learned the commercial side of the industry. In 1986 he started his own cleaning service in Ballard– over the years they have gradually moved north. The Nelson’s have been in their current location in Beautiful downtown Perrinville (a neighborhood in North Edmonds) for over 14 years. Carpet cleaning is not his hobby. it is his lifestyle. Jim loves cleaning, making people feel good about their home. and providing quality service.

Jim is the owner and operator of Nelson Carpet Cleaning.

He started his cleaning service in 1986 with his wife, Melissa.

In Feb 2013 Jim learned that out of over 3200 ratings of 71 carpet cleaners on a local consumer rating service, he is the highest rated carpet cleaner in the Puget Sound area. Jim and Melissa are both humbled by these results and would like to give God all the glory for the blessings that he has given them.
