Mike just left my house. Great service and he’s a super nice guy. Very knowledgeable, and very thorough.
I had a leaky kitchen faucet and a clogged drain. I had tried to snake the drain myself, but somehow made it worse in the process. He snaked it a couple of times and cleared the blockage. He let me watch him change the cartridge in my kitchen faucet so that I can do it next time. He even noticed a washer was missing in my aerator and provided a new aerator.
I felt the charge was reasonable and was very happy with the service. To be honest, I know very little about plumbing and I didn’t feel like a complete dunce while he was talking to me. That’s big in my books.

Our kitchen faucet was leaking from the base, and we were hosting a party in two days, so having working kitchen plumbing was kind of important.
I called Day & Nite and Beacon (recommended by friends for quick work), and both were super evasive about pricing, with Beacon being weirdly confrontational about how their $ 75 dispatch fee IS NOT an estimate cost (so they can legally claim free estimates?).
Meanwhile, Mike gave me his hourly rate, his best estimate, and a worst case scenario cost over the phone. Compared to what I’ve been seeing on Unilocal,Mike’s projections were all super reasonable. He showed up, replaced the faucet super quick, and charged us somewhere within $ 10 of what he originally estimated.

Mike’s Plumbing was recommended to us by a co-​worker. Their team just completed a complete, trenchless replacement of the waterline and shut off valve to our home today. There was a small miscommunication about the job, but I called the office and they had it all straightened out in less than 15 minutes and they still finished the job ahead of schedule. Everyone we have dealt with has been professional, polite and helpful. Their rate was also significantly lower than others we were given. We are really thrilled, we feel like it was money well spent. We would definitely recommend this company.

I was searching for a local plumber who we could count on. My search is over, I’m happy to report.
They sent out Cory to install toilets and fixtures in our remodeled bathrooms. Nice guy, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. His suggestions on fixtures saved us a lot time and money. I recommend these guys.

My sewer backed up into my shower on Friday. I looked at Unilocal and called Mike’s first. I explained what was happening and Nicole told me over the phone what the problem most likely was. She told me their hourly rate and let me know it usually takes about an hour. No credit cards though and since I’m currently trying to get back on my feet i decided to call another company that does take credit cards.
The other company charged me $ 86 to look for 2 seconds and tell me exactly what Nicole had said over the phone. They then wrote up a quote that was quadruple Mike’s rate. I don’t know if that’s the rate they give everyone or if that was their special single female rate. I have sadly experienced that on a few occasions. I declined their work and since they came late in the day i had to wait until Monday morning to call Mike’s back.
First thing Monday morning i called and they were able to get someone out that afternoon. The guys that came were very nice, hardworking and explained what was going on. I will call them again if i ever run into plumbing issues. It is a relief to find a company that is honest, fairly priced and hardworking. Anyone can feel relaxed knowing they are in good hands with Mike’s. They definately deserve their 5 star rating!

I had a completely plugged kitchen sink drain headed into Labor Day weekend. Nicole did a great job scheduling but more importantly, following up and letting me know status as to when Mike would get here. He was efficient, did great work clearing the lines and had a creative solution to a complicated in-​wall problem. Everything was cleaned up nicely when he left. I’d recommend to a friend.

I contacted Mike to inspect pipes in the crawl space after the home inspector found corrosion. On the day that he was supposed to do the work, I received a call from Nicole indicating that he wouldn’t be able to make it because of unexpected problems at an earlier job, so we rescheduled. He came out on that day at the time expected and he did the work at a reasonable rate. He only replaced the pipe hangers and noted that there was no damage to the piping itself. We will be contacting him the next time we need plumbing work. Thanks Mike and Nicole!

Half the price of Fischer Plumbing and Beacon Plumbing. They came out same day even though wasn’t an emergency to unclog our kitchen sink. No service charge, just a flat REASONABLE hourly rate, unlike the others. Cody was super friendly and helpful. I mentioned our bath drains slowly, so he fixed that while he was here as well. We are new home owners and have used 2 other plumbers before finding this company and we finally found the one we will continue to use in the future. I highly recommend them.

It’s a real treat to deal with a business like Mike’s. We recently had a plugged drain and contacted Mike’s to get an estimate. Based on my description of the problem, Nicole gave me an estimate over the phone and said they couldn’t work me in the same day, but would be out the first thing in the morning. Jerry and Steve showed up right on time, immediately got to work clearing the drain and were done within an hour, including removing and resetting the toilet. The bill was exactly as quoted (and very reasonable).
I would unhesitatingly recommend Mike’s for any plumbing work that they do. It’s nice to know that there are still businesses that operate promptly, honestly, and competently.

We used Mike for the first time about a month ago. We got the recommendation from the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s list of well-​liked contractors.
My first call was answered right away by a courteous and knowledgeable woman. She scheduled an appointment for the next morning and gave an estimate.
Mike arrived on the dot, really at the minute agreed upon. He was courteous, professional, and, most importantly solved our problem – roots blocking our main sewer line.
Even better, he offered sound advice about how to avoid future problems.
I would use him again and highly recommend him.
