When it comes to quick and cheap teriyaki this place is great! I have been here 3 times and have had chicken teriyaki and/or chicken katsu each time and have always been happy. Portions are a good size and price is low; a bright spot on Aurora Ave. for sure!

My boyfriend and I just went in here and ordered two chicken teriyaki with no sauce with brown rice and a side salad. We got the dish on a tray in styrofoam containers and plastic forks. Don’t know why they would think that is a good idea when we asked to eat in. Well the chicken tasted like sugar candy. The salad dressing tasted like it went bad. The brown rice was mushy and overcooked. Wasn’t too horrible but now we both feel super sick. We called to see if there was anything they would do for us and they said that the chicken just has sugar in it. No refund. They don’t care if we write a bad Unilocal review. They don’t care that we are sick. They don’t care that we want our money back so we can buy some different food after we throw up. Thanks for getting us sick and good luck selling food that will make people throw up.

Great food and great cuatomer service. I rarely write any review though, but this restaurant make me do.

Definitely not a good experience. I have been to this establishment multiple times, have had great service, and the food has been generally been pretty good. But I just came back from this establishment and probably won’t be back again. I went in for a to go order of chicken stir fry and gyoza. Simple order and it was ready when I got there. When it was time to pay she repeated the order to me which was chicken fried rice and gyoza. Which was was wrong. When I mentioned it to her she just proceeded to tell me that I was wrong over and over again. Its totally understandable that there was confusion because they do sound the same. But she did not even ask if I wanted them to remake my order or offer me any discounts on the price due to the mistake. I was just hungry and tired of talking about it so I just paid and left. When I got home the chicken fried rice wasn’t even good. Such a waste of money. Such a simple mistake covered in bad customer service. I will not be returning to this establishment.

After several years of frequenting this location I feel they make a very consistent and tasty plate of spicy chicken teriyaki. They have plenty of choices on their menu and just recently added some new items. But I have two issues: Communicating clearly with the lady who answers the phone — something often seems to get lost in «translation» at that step or further back in the kitchen. The other is that the spicy option is $ 1 more than regular, which is a tad steep in my opinion. So for two orders of «spicy» chicken teriyaki last night it boosted our bills $ 2.20 and I had to add hot sauce at home. Of course the one order which should have been vegetables instead of rice came with rice and no vegetables even though I had the lady on the phone repeat my order. I’ll continue to frequent the place(there are lots of teriyaki joints in my area) but no more«spicy» for sure. I can do that home and«tip» myself a nice $ 2.20.

I have been going here awhile. The prices have gone up and the quality is down. Less food and no more sizzle. Same ‘ol stuff… no veggie… lot a rice and limp salad pieces… chicken was ok. I keep trying to make it better and this is the last I will stop.

Oh my goodness, this was our favorite teriyaki spot for several years. However, the Last few times I’ve been there, it hasn’t tasted the same. I always order the veggie yakisoba. The last couple times the veggies have not tasted very fresh. This time I couldn’t eat it. Some of the veggies had no substance and they were coated with a milky white slimmy substance. Also there is no consistency in porportion noodles vs veggies are what variety of veggies will be in the meal, based on the last few times I’ve visited. They only serve one soup now, they used to have hot and sour soup also. I’m not sure if it was last week soup or new added to old but it sketchy also. Black bean sprouts… no thanks.

I’ve been going here sine the early 2000s and this place always goes back and forth with quality. But they are consistent and great when you look then up on the health inspector county site. I am very happy with them at this time. They served me even tho I came in right at closing on the dot. I was just turned away from the other place across the street cause they were closed 5 minutes before closing time. Your food is great and you guys have good service. I hope you stay open another forever and a half.

So bad I won’t give it a second try. Prawns were limp and barely warm. Teriyaki was dry and flavorless. Rice was obviously old. Salad was starting to turn bad. Small portion left me hungry afterwards. It was 5PM to! Was this the lunch leftover teriyaki? NOT recommended.

I’ve been coming to Manna for years now, as I used to live down the street. It is SOO good, the chicken is always tender and not dry. What is mostly dangerous is the manna roll. A deep fried sushi roll with cream cheese and amazing filling. Definitely a once-in-a-while indulge. The owner is very friendly and so is everyone else working there. Tip: gyoza is crunchy and tasty as well.

I thought Manna teriyaki chain was suppose to be all the same. It’s obvious this establishment takes shortcuts. They also don’t serve hot tea. I ordered chicken Katsu. Dined in but they still served my food in togo container. Breading was more like tempura mix and they soaked my chicken in salad dressing.

Very disappointed in this teriyaki. The salad tastes like the shredded cabbage was just soaked in vinegar. The chicken was cold. Never having this again.

Came here with my mom as its her favorite Teriyaki Joint– The menu is impressive both Teriyaki and Chinese Food. We ordered to-go, and I ordered the Combo #1. Came with chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu and three gyoza. It was so yummy– The teriyaki sauce was the perfect way I like– Very tangy to the taste and sweet– Not too thick– My mom ordered her usual, normal chicken teriyaki with rice and vegis. The chicken was cooked perfectly, both katsu and teriyaki– And gyoza’s nice and crisp on the inside– The owner was so nice, service was fast– I have the menu now with me on the go and will order again soon. Someone ordered General Tsos Chicken and it looked really really tasty. Open M-Sat 10:30−9pm and closed Sunday. Can’t wait to go back was totally delicious!

Not a fan:-/ Ordered lunch for my wife and I to go. She got the noodles and vegetables, added the shrimp for extra charge. I got Szechuan Beef and rice. The extra charge for the shrimp was deceiving, it showed large shrimp, got baby bay shrimp. As for the Szechuan beef, terrible! Over-cooked vegetables, sweet and sour soup with spice and slivers of chopped beef instead of the chunks shown in the pic. When I arrived to meet my wife for lunch, the complete bag was sopping with sauce(soup), all the napkins drenched, silverware and extra condiments soaked! What a debacle. And nothing to clean up with! The Sobe green tea was awesome! All for $ 24.00…no thnx!

I was the only customer there when I went in a little after 4 p.m. And there were dirty tables but the place was generally clean. I am Not sure what everybody is raving about here but the prices were average and the food was good. The staff were friendly and I would definitely go back but I wouldn’t say that its outstanding, but you won’t go wrong either. The overall experience is that this is just an average teriyaki place. If you live close it’s definitely worth a try.

We were going to go to subway but I saw manna right next door and was like«ooh I want teriyaki!» Having no clue about the place or whether it was good, me and my hub went in for a try. I got the yakisoba with tofu and hubby got sweet and sour pork. Rare choices for us both. I usually get salmon and him, general tso’s. anyways he really liked his and I loved my soba. I’m picky about it too so this was a surprise to me. TONS of veggies and seasoned just right. IMO. We will go back. Only downside, it took forever to get our order~

I don’t know why I was expecting a religious experience. When I first walked in I looked at the menu and saw Bible tracts in front of the cash register. I saw Bible verses in Korean and English on the calendar and above on the wall. So I kind of have certain expectations as a customer dining in vs. dining out. The service from the woman was abrupt, not polite or helpful. I was friendly and clear in how I ordered, «I’d like a spicy chicken teriyaki for here, please.» She said abruptly, «For here or to go?» I said, «For here, please.» I paid, dropped a dollar in the tip jar, and she said«thank you.» I went to sit down, and this is my first time here, so I notice there are four tables and sixteen seats. They are all close together in a narrow dining area. There were about five other men who came in the same time I was there. While I was waiting I noticed their stereo on top of where they have the pop stored. So the cord is drooping down and I thought to myself with all these tall men waiting for teriyaki that that’s just an accident waiting to happen. Of course, you’d think people would duck, but you never know. So I’m waiting and all of a sudden I keep hearing the woman yelling, «Spicy chicken for here. Spicy chicken for here. Spicy chicken for here. Spicy chicken for here.» But I don’t see her, and I have an auditory disability, so I have no idea she’s talking to me. I don’t know what the other four or five men ordered. I don’t know if they’re having it for here. I don’t know if she’s talking to me. I eat teriyaki ALL the time so never having been here before I find it interesting that she couldn’t just walk the tray out to me. However, thinking that she’s talking to me all the way at the end of the long dining area I walk up there and take the tray from her. I see my order was served in Styrofoam to-go boxes on top of the tray. I take it back to the table, open it up, and see my spicy chicken teriyaki, which was not spicy at all. I also noticed there wasn’t any salad dressing on the salad, which was a first for me. The chicken tasted good but the pieces were small and thin, unlike other places I’ve been to. I was charged a full dollar more for this«spicy» chicken teriyaki and I had to add the Sriracha to actually make it spicy. So why did I pay $ 1.00 more? This is my biggest pet peeve in teriyaki restaurants. I was unsure whether there was complimentary water or tea, and she didn’t point it out. Who knows if they have punch cards for frequent visits? I do not plan on being back. I do hear the other reviewers when they say it’s rare for a teriyaki place to be open on a Sunday. However, this visit was so unpleasant I’d drive to Renton before I came back here again! I also saw another reviewer mention their anti-LGBTQQI politics and religious views of homophobia… so I have to say that I’d really not go back since I just saw that, too.

I went here the other day and noticed that they had a petition on the counter that wants to reinstate the ban on same sex marriage in Washington State. I really hate businesses that make their personal beliefs known in one way or another, especially when their beliefs want to deny the rights of same-sex couples. I’m sorry, but I can’t get behind that.
